Whoo, I just read that back to myself, I sound crazy...!!!!! I hope you make sense of it all!

Ready · 14/12/2008 11:34

Choc - wow, that is not too far from me at all - about 45 minutes. How long are you there for? I am working right up to Christmas, then obviously the family thing over Christmas.

Rainbowdays - all that made perfect sense, don't worry! I am excited to see your blog when it is updated. Sorry to hear your boys have been poorly. Hope all better in time for Christmas.

Speaking of Christmas, I really ought to go and carry on with my knitting. Those gifts will not finish themselves!

xx

rainbowdays · 14/12/2008 18:08

Ready - now you are making me feel guilty, I have a jumper for Jak that I started knitting before he was born and I still have not finished it , if I don't get a move on with it this week he will be too big for it!

Chocolatedays · 29/12/2008 11:01

Hi Ready
Sorry I didn't get back in touch we were all wiped out by a fluey cold thing (thankfully all pretty much better by Christmas day)

Hope you had a good one - and positive vibes for 2009 to you.

No worries Choc, to be honest, I am not sure I could have met you without blurting out my news ... so it worked out for the best I think. Although sorry to hear that you've been suffering. Hope you are all ok now? ... I can hardly believe I am about to type my news... I am 13+1, had my scan on New Year's Eve. Amazing.

Rainbow, hope you've been knitting for Jak?

Happy New Year xx

nomoremagnolia · 02/01/2009 11:20

I said it on the other thread but I'll say it again CONGRATULATIONS

xMASserialshopper · 02/01/2009 18:38

Absolutely wonderful news

Your posts were one of the 1sts ones I read when I joined MN way back when. I even remember you had a thread the other day reminicing(sp?) on when you 1st joined and sending baby dust to everyone I think we must have joined around the same time - or you just a little bit earlier.

So when I say CONGRATULATIONS - you know I saying it with heartfelt emotions [emotional emoticon]

cedar12 · 02/01/2009 19:41

Chocolatedays · 03/01/2009 08:31

SO so so VERY happy for you.

Felt I shouldn't say too much as it is the last thing long term TTCers need to hear - but parenthood is the most amazing thing I have ever experienced - a deep rooted joy that is impossible to explain.

CONGRATULATIONS!

greedygreedyguzzler · 03/01/2009 12:35

WHAT!!!!!????? how on earth did you ever manage to keep that quiet for so long!!!??? you must have known forever!!! why did you not share?

oh yes...........and HUGE CONGRATS!!!!! come and join us ..........

Ready · 03/01/2009 13:06

I'm seriously overwhelmed by the reactions.
It is very exciting, but nervewracking too. Baby is due 9 July according to the u/s. But my period dates suggest the 15th - who knows.

So, enough about me - how is everyone??

Chocolatedays · 03/01/2009 13:14

Nope - lets talk more about you!

You are going to be a GREAT mum. You are very caring and have huge empathy.

Just been for a stroll with my July baby and thouight of you. My dh is made up for you two (and soon to be bump) too.

BIG

rainbowdays · 03/01/2009 19:09

I agree with chocholatedays - nope lets talk more about you....! My first ds was a July baby, great month to be born. My ultrasound date was the one that the hospital used because it was earlier that last af due date too. As it was he arrived even earlier than that too! So what I want to know is: will you be finding out the gender of the baby at your next scan? Did you have morning sickness? How are you feeling now? Have you told work yet...... ? We all have so many questions please come here and tell us more, we have missed you so much. So glad to have you back and even happier that you are back with such good news. As for getting emotional you are definitely allowed to blame it all on hormones

scorpio1 · 03/01/2009 19:59

My first was a June baby

When did you find out? Did you 'know'? Hope you have been well and are starting to come out of the sicky bit. Even my DH said 'bless her' last night when i told him you were pg, lol

I think we are all very excited here!

BellaBear · 03/01/2009 20:04

OHMYFREAKINGOD!!

So nomore mentioned on ravelry that there were a couple of MN pregnancies and I thought I'd nose on here and check out who, haven't come on MN in ages , not sure why and now I am hyperventilating!!!!!!!

Oh congratulations a million times lovely!

Oh I'm so excited!!!!!

xxxx

Ready · 04/01/2009 11:54

Cedar, oh yes, of course I remember you ? you may be pleased to know, I lost a stone ? a bit more than I was aiming for ? but I felt so much healthier for it. Perhaps that has something to do with conceiving?? Anyway, congratulations on your pregnancy ? how are you feeling?

xMASserialshopper, what was your non Christmas name?

Chocdays, that?s so sweet, tell your dh thank you ? I love that you went for a stroll with your ?july baby?

Scorpio, I waited til I was a week late before I tested ? and then we decided to wait until the scan until we told anyone. It was lovely to have a secret.

Bella, thank you so much

scorpio1 · 04/01/2009 12:32

Ready - it must have been lovely having that secret We only managed about 8 weeks with Mimi, but next time we will keep secret forever - i don't think i will be announcing on here either. BTW; i do really love my bugaboo - we have denim, with hot pink footmuff. Ask away any questions! I bet your scan was magical - i always think they are going to tell me its all in my imagination!

cedar12 · 05/01/2009 09:46

Well done on all that weight loss. I think I managed about 7lb but put it all back on with the ivf drugs and christmas! Everythings good with the pregnancy so far. I feel like I am all ready getting big, someone at work asked if I was pregnant yesterday and I couldnt keep a straight face so had to come clean. Well done for keeping it a secret for so long.
