Well, I have been super busy with work so not that much time to come on to MN like before. And to be honest I have been kind of non-plussed with ttc - we have been ttc just over 2 years now, and all the tests are done, and the consultant said there was no reason for not conceiving...

The dreaded "unexplained infertility" - so since we moved counties we are now in an area where they won't consider couples for fertility treatment (unless there is a diagnosed reason for the infertility) until the 3 year mark.

So now we are just waiting for the next step... but still actively trying - but unfortunately still no luck in that department. But the good news is that I am coping with it exceptionally well. It's hilarious when I think back to how I would feel if I wasn't pregnant when we had been trying for 6-15 months - it was like the end of the world every month... but now it doesn't feel quite so desperate. C'est la vie.

Is it possible that I have grown up

Anyway... I am so touched that you are all care enough about me to look for me and post on here asking after me. Good karma for all of you

xx

cityangel · 23/10/2008 05:35

Hi Ready

So pleased you are ok... we are on holiday in Florida but I've been watching the thread in the hope you would check in.

Really miss our chats with 3catstoo. Come back

Things are good for us... I am exhausted but starting to get a feel for the little one's needs.

When I get home I have a million questions on mumsnet to post and will be taking Greedy up on her offer of support.

I really hope things work out the way you want them to. Its tough that the area you live in need you to wait 3 years, its a lot less where we are in London... but it's great you are coping so well

Something to make you laugh maybe ...

I booked our first family holiday with the 10 week old and didn't realise that 75,000 naked pirates would be descending upon town!
www.fantasyfest.net/ not sure he's noticed yet

look forward to catching up when we are back
xxx city

greedygreedyguzzler · 23/10/2008 14:24

city - we have been to fantasy fest about 10 years ago. it was great!!! i remember a few naked people, but not pirates! how do you know if they are pirates if they are naked? do they keep their eye patches on? glad to hear you sound more back to normal!

honeyapple · 23/10/2008 20:49

lovely to 'see' everyone

rainbowdays · 27/10/2008 09:06

Just thought I would come back and say hi to everyone, it is great that we have all met up here, together again, a great reunion party.
I have a couple of questions: are we mutually stalking Ready??? Is it possible to stalk someone, who only appears once to say hello?

AppleAndBlackberry · 27/10/2008 14:22

Hi Ready! (It's EachPeachPearPlum)

Good to hear you're doing ok. xxx

Ready · 09/12/2008 19:05

Hi girls, sorry I didn't come back til now. I have been so busy, and time just slips away. I don't really have all that long now, but I miss you all so much that I just wanted to pop in and say hello. I hope everyone is doing well.

I promise I will be back when I have more time. But until then, thinking of you all. xx

rainbowdays · 10/12/2008 14:55

Hey Ready - great to hear from you again, we all miss you too. hope you have time soon to come and let us know how you are doing.

Chocolatedays · 11/12/2008 20:26

Well hello!
I have just discovered this thread developed a life of its own!

So lovely to see many old names.. and Rainbowdays - like the name!!!!

My wee babe is already 5 months - and I still feel blessed and amazed that she finally came into our life.

So many years of dreading another Christmas without a baby - and at last dreams can and do come true!!

Dare to dream guys!

OP posts:
Ready · 13/12/2008 16:26

If you don't have a dream, how can you have a dream come true?

I am doing well, I am not brave enough to come on MN from work, my computer screen is inconveniently placed for clandestine forum catch-ups. And then by the time I am home, and settled, I am not in the mood to sit at the computer for too long - so facebook is my one stop shop for keep abreast of what is going on.

I will make more of an effort to pop in because I miss you all lots and lots.

So what is new?

Choc 5 months huh! How wonderful, tell us about her? It'd be lovely to see a pic of her.

Rainbowdays, how's your home? All settled in and loving it? And how is JAK? Are your older ones doting on him? Are you stopping at 3?

City, how was Florida?

How is everyone else doing?

Chocolatedays · 13/12/2008 16:29

Hiya Ready! - I'm in Suffolk for Christmas. You still in that neck of the woods?
