Please can you tell Ready there is hope for long term ttcers! I am enormously grateful to say our second attempt at IVF resulted in the birth of our wonderful daughter on 6/7/8.

Our girl was made at Hammersmith - the staff were good- and the embryologist (Yvonne) was wonderful. She really took her time to talk to us and gave us the confidence to keep going even though we only had three eggs - and the docs had suggested we should abandon the cycle.
We found you have to trust their advice and expertise but also trust your instincts. Fertility Friends co uk was VERY helpful while going through assisted conception treatments. MN was (and is) great for companionship and FF was excellent for finding other couples going through the same thing at the same time... we always got responses to even the oddest of questions!

Hi rainbowdays... how the devil are you! hows everything.. have not talked for ages... I went for a consultants app yesterday, I'm starting IVF again next cycle as need to wait for a period and then can start on day 21 again with nasals. Had a set back as got myself pregnant but MC at 6 weeks. So have fingers crossed those pregnancy hormones with remain with me and will have another BFP soon. The consultant has found a few strange things and I had some tests back for some blood disorders and one was abnormal, so being given heparin for my next pregnancy. However I have been Googling today and freaked myself out and not sure if that's the right medication etc... I'm so stupid!

OMG Rah! so much goes on that i dont know about! i had no idea you had got pregnant and then lost it. when did this happen? have you been on MN recently or not? i keep a vague eye on the temping thread so i know you havent been on there. how you feeling?

hi again rah, just been stalking your old posts a bit to see what went on with you. i am so so sorry. how completely crap when you have been ttc for so long to get pg and then lose it. (same happened to my sis earlier this year after ttc for 3 1/2 yrs). you must feel so crappy, dont know what to say really. pleased to hear that the IVF is happening though. good luck with it all....................i think i might secretly stalk you for a while!

saw your post to fettle by the way and she hasnt just had a mc. her message was posted in 2006 after she had one then. someone must have restarted the thread.

Rah - so sorry hon - I lurk like greedy and saw you news So hope this is the beginning of some perfect treatment that = BFP for you. (have you checked in with MrsMc about blood stuff? It maybe completely different but I know she has a blood issue diagnosed after her mc that means injections from BFP onwards?)

OLD FACES!!!!! ME?! the cheek of it! i think you will find you are older than me seaside (assuming the 72 in your name means 1972). talking of being old though................i had a crease on my face when i woke up the other morning from burying my head under a pillow all night, and it took until i got back from music class with marcy to go...........thats 11am!!!!! apparently the older you are the longer the creases take to disappear in the mornings.......................reckon i must have the skin of a 60 yr old!!

Rah - it is so good to hear from you, you are often in my thoughts. Sorry to hear about the m/c, but hopefully, as you say, your body will remember what to do with the IVF and all will go smoothly. Did you read that MrsMc has just got pg again and is currently looking for a doctor to sort out her injections. I don't suppose it is the same thing as you, but she would be able to empathise with you. My JAK is now 6months old and dh and I look at him is amazement everyday in awe of how wonderful he is. I look forward to the day that you will be telling me the same of your little one. I will keep thinking positive for you. Hope you keep in touch with us. Have you got my email address?
