Hi Everyone, long time no posts!
Welcome to the newbies I see on the posts.

There is so much to catch up on, so not sure I will but i did see about Ses's scan

Good luck Ses! will be thinking of you!

Im in Chicago at the moment. Had a fab flight over in business class but literally spent all of it in the loo . When i told the air hostess (are they still called that?) that I was pregnant she gave me a very large bottle of water and told me to drink!

Been working and siteseeing. I have now have training course for 5 days before coming home to DH and the cold weather. Its been boiling here.

Managed to get some great maternity clothes in Gap. So much cheaper than at home and much better range. Im also finally looking pregnant- either that or I've had too much cheesecake!

Oh gosh, sorry about the me, me me post.
Will try and read and see what you've all been up to. Serious MN withdrawal here!

Bye for now

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 29/09/2008 07:34

Morning all

Slept a bit better last night, have been awake since about 4.30, seems to be a bit of a habit at the moment.

Welcome (back? I'm sure I recognise your name?) to Deany, again no added advice, but know I am hoping you aren't waiting much longer.

Ses, huge amounts of luck this morning, but I am sure you won't need it, as Diege says, there is nothing to say that it will go wrong again, though I understand your worrying, I'd be the same, just because that's what we do. Will be thinking of you xxx

Glask, I was the same as you last time (bump wise!) it does get really embarressing when you have to tell people that the EDD is agesssssssss away! In fact it got to the point where if strangers asked the question I just said something like "not long to go now" or "hopefully not too long" Only now (at 26 weeks) am I really starting to feel full up.

DS2 has an appointment at the hospital this morning, when I get back, I am going to do the big order from Mothercare, am strangely nervous, feels like putting all my eggs in one basket, if they cock it up, we'll have nothing ready.... t'is very exciting though!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 29/09/2008 10:09

I do feel like saying things like that NJ!! and Diege say ta to your DH- made me laugh!!

SES- hoping your scan is all good this morning!!

I have been having restless sleep for the last few weeks, lots of really vivid dreams and last night DH didn't help as he was groping me in his sleep!! Kept me awake for over half an hour and when i looked at the time it was 2.30am!! wasn't happy with him, he woke up this morning and didn't even know what he'd done!!

istinkhavingaboyoragirl · 29/09/2008 10:11

At work and feeling bleughh after just 2 hours sleep last night. Bleedin' cat decided to disappear, and we are worried as he has just started medication for liver problems Will keep positive for now anyway that he will be home when I get in .

TINK, I'm still thinking pink one for you...getting excited about your scan now .
Looking forward to hearing SES's news

SesHasapinkline · 29/09/2008 11:51

Am back from scan and all is well!!!

My estimate was that I'm 8 weeks tomorrow or Wed. They say 8 weeks today so measurements all ok and saw heartbeat!! Can't quite believe it but at least now I think I'll let myself believe it IYKWIM!

Still on my phone as no laptop but will upload a piccie when I can.

I can't thank you all enough for your reassurances, kind words and encouragement since I joined you in June and I know I'd have found this way more stressful without you. I hope that this brings hope to some of you others - Diege, Cal, deany and anyone else.

Now all I have to do is get ready for moving house on Thurs!

Hope everyone else is having a good day!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 29/09/2008 11:57

Aww Diege, about your cat, y'know sometimes when they're not 'right' they do just take themselves off for a while, fingers crossed he'll be back by home time. He's probably been curled up on some old dear's lap with the smell of tuna on his breath

No. 4?

SesHasapinkline · 29/09/2008 11:57

Morning Diege

Hope cat turns up - can be v worrying but they can be v independent so hope that's what's happened and that the cat will be back under your feet soon.

NJ - sounds yet again like you've done a day's work in a few hrs!

Tink - your scan next!

OP posts:
NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 29/09/2008 11:58

Wow Ses that's FANTASTIC!!!! I am so so so pleased for you, and Mr Ses of course!

Congratulations

cantwaitforxmas · 29/09/2008 12:00

Great news Ses

Congratulations! I hope you can relax and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy now.

2beautifulgalsandabean · 29/09/2008 12:17

Great news Ses have been thinking about you all morning. hope that you can relax a little now.

NJ- wow at your list and the amount you have spent. all looks good though. How old will DS2 be when DS3 is born?

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 29/09/2008 12:33

I know, I am still at how much it all added up to, what can you do though? Things cost as much as they cost. DS2 will be 2 on December 7th, baby due January 3rd...

How are you?

T'is great news for Ses

Diege · 29/09/2008 12:37

Excellent news SES!! I was looking at my watch and thinking of you as my train got into station, and sending lots of good vibes .
Hope you're right about big cat Nat. He could well have gone on a wonder, though because he's not eating at the moment and is stick thin, that's cause for worry.
Lots to do here, so will try and pop in later when back from work

istinkhavingaboyoragirl · 29/09/2008 13:36

istinkhavingaboyoragirl · 29/09/2008 13:42

happynappies · 29/09/2008 13:43

Hi again everyone. Still struggling to catch up properly, but thanks for the update Diege. So sorry to hear your news, and Cal too - but happy to see you're here trying again.

Congratulations Ses - glad your scan went well and hope it has all sunk in.

How are your hips NJ?

I've got my 20 week scan on Wednesday - not finding out if boy or girl, but have a feeling it is another girl!

Just had a frantic morning at the shops, so looking forward to putting my feet up with a hot chocolate and catching up with MN! Hope everyone is enjoying their afternoons!

istinkhavingaboyoragirl · 29/09/2008 13:45

is there such a thing as a boy or girl bump
i.e if a boy you have a low bump and shaped like a basketball?
i am carrying differently with this one with dd gained weight on bum, legs etc.
this time around have just gained weight out front on bump

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 29/09/2008 14:26

Diege, it is horrible when they are poorly, can understand why you're worried. Sorry, I didn't mean to sound flippant about the old dear's lap and tuna.

Tink, not long till you find out, FWIW, I have carried differently with all three of mine.

Happy, exciting for your scan Hot chocolate sounds great My hips are generally OK thanks, some nights/mornings are bad, but most days I can easily cope with it. I have found if I go for a gentle walk in the evening it helps. Did you buy anything good at the shops?
