Hi all...I will be testing this weekend and would love to have companion on the 7 day countdown to compare symptoms up to test day.
Currently trying for baby no.2, and have been for about a year now with one M/C during that time.

Symptom/s to date at 8dpo are:

  1. Pulling type feeling low down in the groin area....

Nothing more to report at this stage..is that good?

Pls come share your experiences during the up and coming week. Its always interesting to see at the end of the week which symptom/s actually end in the coverted BFP...Yeah .

Ilovebeingamummy - have posted CONGRATS elsewhere, but here they are again

WaitingToExhale - I had loads of good recommendations for the Rough Guide, so am going to try that. Nobody mentioned the pregnancy books for blokes though - maybe they're not that useful after all

MsG · 23/09/2008 11:11

Did a test this morning and got a BFP... Can't really believe it. We're being cautious because of the miscarriage last year, but am still happy, obviously.

Really hope everyone else gets BFPs soon too. xx

Waiting2Exhale · 23/09/2008 11:18

Oooohhhh....congrats MsG know what you mean about being cautious...but just try to relax and enjoy the whole experience....best of luck and praying the little bean sticks this time.

Thanks, W2E - have you done a test yet?
xx

Jools1 · 23/09/2008 11:33

Many congrats MrsG

I really hope this one is in for the long haul

yellowflowers · 23/09/2008 11:37

Yay! Congrats.

reallyhoping · 23/09/2008 11:38

Congratulations MrsG!!

Finally heard back from my specialist. My blood test came back negative. Feels a lot more 'final' than the HPTs I did. She thinks that my progesterone levels might be high which is causing me to have all these 'symptoms'. I've now got to wait until next Monday and, assuming I don't have aperiod before then, I'll ring her again and go for a scan next week.

So that's me done.

Good luck to anyone still waiting to test.
Good luck also to those of you with BFPs - hope all your beans hold nice and tight for the next eight months or so.

x

MsG · 23/09/2008 11:44

reallyhoping, I'm sorry to hear that.

I feel bad for being pleased when other people are getting BFNs... I know how horrible it is. x

CoteDAzur · 23/09/2008 12:17

reallyhoping - Sorry to hear your news I hope to see you soon on pregnancy board.

waiting2exhale - Re your question: "Have anyone else out there have not preg symptoms but period type pain and then spotting before getting a BFP?"

I didn't have any spotting, but had no symptoms before testing BFP. In fact, I am almost 5 weeks now and still have no symptoms (except no AF and BFP, of course). Well, maybe breasts a little bit tender since yesterday.

It was exactly the same when pregnant with DD - no nausea, no symptoms at all until well into second month. I had no spotting at any point of that pregnancy.

I hope that helps.

CoteDAzur · 23/09/2008 12:17

By the way, huge congratulations to MsG!

DorisIsAPinkDragon · 23/09/2008 12:47

Congrats MsG and ilovebeingmummy see you in the antenatal boards, not sure whether i'll be may or june but think it might be June

Realy hoping sorry it's not your month but at least you're seeing the specialist who may be able to give you some answers soon... I'll be watching out for you with my fingers crossed.

ilovebeingamummy I'll have 3 under 4 aswell argggh dd1 is just 3 and dd2 is just 1.

Don't know who's left to test but good luck any way.... I'll keep watching.

Keeping fingers crossed for you, Wishing.

LJ29 · 24/09/2008 18:07

No luck for me this month. AF hit me yesterday. It was only the first month of trying but i had such sore boobs that I was absolutely convinced I was pregnant. At the moment I feel quite relaxed about it but dreading the long wait again next month. Just want to get on with it now.

DorisIsAPinkDragon · 24/09/2008 18:25

I think the first coupple of weeks are fine with lots of BD to keep you occupied - its the 2 weeks of waiting after that feel like an eternity. Told hubby that he's going to have the best month of his life tho so he's happy!!

Wishing · 29/09/2008 15:05
