Hi all...I will be testing this weekend and would love to have companion on the 7 day countdown to compare symptoms up to test day.
Currently trying for baby no.2, and have been for about a year now with one M/C during that time.

Symptom/s to date at 8dpo are:

  1. Pulling type feeling low down in the groin area....

Nothing more to report at this stage..is that good?

Pls come share your experiences during the up and coming week. Its always interesting to see at the end of the week which symptom/s actually end in the coverted BFP...Yeah .

hi folks, we are ttc baby no2, this is cycle no 5 now, and wondering why it's taking so long when baby no1 was conceived without much thought.
due to test around 21st this month. good luck to everyone else testing.
had symptoms last month yet no pregnancy, so i've been keeping busy to try and avoid testing this month. waste so much on tests!!

DorisIsAPinkDragon · 16/09/2008 19:11

oopps

Jools1 · 16/09/2008 19:26

I wonder if it is all over for me I saw a spot of brownish CM - right on time if AF is due to arrive on Friday as I always get an isolated spot three days before the main event

Now I'm thinking I can't feel cramps any more - or maybe I can feel faint ones - and maybe my boobs are slowly starting to deflate

Not sure either way now but a bit sad. I simply can NOT have imagined every symptom I've been having - surely ??

dinkyboysmum · 16/09/2008 21:44

yellowflower i think you can get two ewcm patches. one at O and then another one about a week afetr as hormones fluctuate. read oabout it on fertility friend. it is normal, doesnt mean you've O'd twice, but why not bd anyway?!!

yellowflowers · 17/09/2008 12:52

thanks dinkyboysmum - pretty sure not pregnant this month but will keep everythign crossed just in case.

HeyThereGeorgieGirl · 17/09/2008 13:16

Jools Hang in there lady. It could implantation bleed? Or any number of other things. Keep the faith!

Yellowflowers don't keep everything crossed. You won't be able to BD!!!!

Doris Snap. Have had low grade nausea/hunger and cravings for carbs all last week. Not like me at all. But, was sure I was pg in July AND Aug and wadda ya know, nothing. So this month refuse to listen to any signals my body is giving out.

Ahfeckit I LOVE your name. Just great! And a phrase that might be getting used more at my house rather than boll8cks which seems to be my phrase du jour .

Fingers crossed for us all. Who's first to test? I'm not testing til Sunday. Isn't someone due to test on Thurs?

reallyhoping · 17/09/2008 15:42

Hi everyone.

Don't forget Jools - it's not over til it's over ... don't give up hope yet. It's hard to get the balance right though, isn't it; between hoping too much and giving up hope ...

Georgiegirl - I was going to test tomorrow but now I don't have to so I'm holding off until Saturday. Don't know if anyone else is thinking of testing tomorrow though. When are you planning to test?

I have it drummed into my head so much that FMU is the best for testing that, once I've got that morning wee out of the way, I can sort of forget about testing until the next day. Really helps as I have 2 tests sitting in the cupboard waiting for me. BTW, don't know if I should mention this but, I got a twin-pack of HPTs from Boots for £4.99 yesterday. It said on the shelf £10.99 but they came up as £4.99 - might be worth a visit if you haven't got any in yet

DorisIsAPinkDragon · 17/09/2008 15:51

Thanks really hoping since I used my only one I may need to get some more.....

Had low abdo pains today but less nausea/ hunger ( may just 'cos I ate more)

Jools hang in there... fingers still crossed for you but if not there's always next month (tis what I'm telling myself atm)

reallyhoping · 17/09/2008 16:03

I've jsut remembered that I'm supposed to be phoning my specialist on Friday. There's no way I'm testing then though as I work Fridays and there isn't a chance in hell that I would be able to get through the day with that on my mind!!

I guess I'll just have to phone her on Monday ... assuming I don't start my period before then.

Hi Doris, my nausea is less today too, goodness only know what it all means!?

Waiting2Exhale · 17/09/2008 19:36

Hi guys....feeling less and less pg as the days go by...apart from a pulling feeling down low there is really nothing I could possibly point to that I could hang a glimmer of hope onto....agggrrr . Can't really say I'm excited about testing now...must be having a down day and this not wanting to test malarky is soooooo not me .

Jools1 I hope you have managed to hold out...hows it going so far....any other symptoms? Try not to be disheartened...it could be an implantation bleed...? Cheer up petals as that will help me to perk up.... .

Ahfeckit seriously wicked name...wish I thought of that one. Nice...

DorisIsAPinkDragon your symptoms sound promising...when are you due AF and when are you thinking of testing?

yellowflowers hang in there girl.

reallyhoping while the price does sound right with more than 5 tests in my knicker draw I think I will have to pass on the the boots offer... .

DorisIsAPinkDragon · 17/09/2008 20:11

Don't exactly know when AF is due am normally a bit carefree about that cause have had a bit of a dry spell ( no contraception we liked= no BD...sorry if tmi) DH was reluctant risk it as my two dd's were both pretty quickly concieved ( I was 5 months pregnant at my wedding

So was planning to test sat as think that's about a month since last AF but hey ho..... am not going to obsess..... am not going to obsess

Jools1 · 17/09/2008 21:23

Dorisisapinkdragon - please teach me how not to obsess !

Thanks for all the encouragement everyone . I've felt a little less despondent today - still obsessing symptom spotting and being very distracted at work

WaitingtoExhale - hope you feel more positive soon. I'm sure lack of symptoms, in a sort of reverse logic, could mean something if you've always spotted symptoms in previous cycles Maybe it is the hormones making both of us feel so up and down.

Symptoms today - well discovered my chest is still gargantuan once strapped in to a bra, had a small amount of brownish watery CM - not like the pre AF stuff. Nearly fell off my bike at the Spinning class with a sudden dizzy spell. Lots of energy but ducked out early as I was worried about my tum in case there is a bean in there trying to implant and getting jiggled about (well I can dream !) Had some mild cramps. Tum seems bigger and quite firm to touch. Got home and the house smelt really bad. Cat food was turning my stomach and even my sweat towel from the gym smelt really really strongly of fabric conditioner. Felt low-grade nauseous till I'd eaten ...

May test tomorrow as I'm working from home, but am worried about what seeing a BFN will do to me after all these imagined symptoms, so may hold out till Friday or Saturday. Fertility Friend says test Friday - 14DPO

Good luck to anyone testing in the morning and sorry for mammoth post and staying away today - I didn't want to tempt fate by posting anything

DorisIsAPinkDragon · 18/09/2008 15:51

Still got nausea (more intermittant) and lower back ache still trying not to obsess. When I learn how not to I will let you in on the secret Jools, but I'm not there yet!!

Good luck but I don't think anyone was planning to test today??

Might pop out this evening and wastesomemoremoney buy some sticks to pee on.....

Hope you're all ok

Jools1 · 18/09/2008 16:43

Couldn't wait till tomorrow - tried a cheap Boots test and the result was inconclusive, so obsessed a lot, then couldn't cope with waiting to buy more broke out my free Clearblue Digi that I'd been saving to use as a confirmation - BFP

I am stunned, shaking and smiling

HeyThereGeorgieGirl · 18/09/2008 17:48
