Thought I'd start another thread as the last one was SO successful but is starting to take a while to load and I keep losing my place in it!

A quick update on my stats - on CD39 of third cycle since getting AF back after DS was born in April 2004 (10.5 months old).

Have endometriosis and PCOS so have decided to let nature take its course over the next few months and if I fall pg naturally, then so be it. If I don't, then we'll try clomid again (worked first time for us with DS).

Am still breastfeeding, so have erratic cycles - they were always long (so far have had AF visit twice and had 50 and 42-day cycles).

No idea when I ov - may try OPK's next month if no success this month (and don't think I am pg atm).

Think that's it!

Lots and lots of babydust to all the ttcers and lots and lots of babyglue to those who've just had BFPs (and more congrats!). xxx

Thanks everyone! One (of many questions). I always assumed that AF happened 14 days after OV (ie, long cycle meant late OV). Last month my ov stick things showed O on day 14, but period started day 35? (the liver one!). I consider myself a true internet dr. (as my own GP knows only too well), so have already diagnosed implantation problems (Luteal phase defect to be precise). Can post-ovulation sometimes last longer than 14 days?

horseshoe · 22/02/2005 13:46

CP3,

i had a smear 4 weeks ago and they asked if I could be pg so maybe you should double check.

MINNIE1 · 22/02/2005 14:06

Diege, Welcome...
My cycle is 29-36 days.. I mentioned it to my doc and she said it is normal as long as there is no bleeding in the middle of my cycle.. Alot of us here have long cycles.. What CD are you on??

fresco · 22/02/2005 14:19

hunkermunker, hen,i have nominated you as my BUDDY.we are definitly in the same boat you and i.i am going to call surgery tomorow as they may hav the results by then and see if doc wants to discuss anything with me.I was convinced that while /feeding u cant conceive but look at Geordie, she b/f and got pg.
how old areyou huntermunker? i am 36 but dont think its too late.i will definitely let you know about results.whats your opinion/verdict about it?

Worriedbev, i am thinking of you.but mayb your hubby wants to find out himself?

nasa, do you feel better now?

cp3 · 22/02/2005 15:05

Had the smear, its been five years since the last and i very much doubt im pregnant. What will be will Be!!!!

katierocket · 22/02/2005 15:30

OK, thanks Fresco (I was katierocket, then nasa now back to katierocket, just to confuse you!)
AF arrived today but it's not like I wasn't expecting it. I still can't believe it's 9 months TTC though. It seems like such a long time.

Welcome Bev, you'll find this board really helpful and supportive.

HunkerMunker · 22/02/2005 16:35

Fresco, buddy , it's definitely possible to bfeed and conceive - my cousin did it a couple of times. There are people on here tandem nursing, I'm sure (and definitely more than one who's nursing and pregnant).

I'm 30 this year, but have endometriosis and PCOS so have lots of things affecting my fertility. Pretty much knew that AF was going to show up this month - didn't feel pg at all. Think I may need clomid again - fell pg with DS on first try after 11 months ttc.

Will be interested to hear your test results - I don't think that 36 is too late at all.

Hugs, buddy! xxx

Hi everyone cant believe I havent been on for soooo long and even more cant believe JM BFP - CONGRATULATIONS, you to Moomin!!

How is everyone else doing?

I am CD34 - tested on Monday - BFN
tested on Tuesday - BFN

But I feel so yucky and I know I'm probably going to be so dissapointed if I take my AF but I really really think I am Pregnant (just feel yucky and lightheaded)

Do you think I just feel like this because AF so late or do you think I just tested too early - used ASDA's own brand, but with DD1 I used a really cheap brand but I suppose I was 5 days overdue then - ohh I dont know, I feel really weepy - sorry for babbling.

jessicasmummy · 22/02/2005 17:00

HunkerMunker · 22/02/2005 17:01

fresco · 23/02/2005 07:12

wow where is everyone?

sparkly · 23/02/2005 08:16

Hey everyone - sorry have been posting so infrequently. In the process of moving etc and it's a complete nightmare! Tested on Monday morning (after saying I'd hold out until today at least) and it was another BFN. Just have no idea what is going on with my body. I'm CD39 now so think there's no hope at all. I just wish that if there wasn't AF would arrive so we could get started again. Did find a pg test last night whilst sorting things out so if nothing by next Monday I will test again. It's so frustrating

Nelli29 · 23/02/2005 08:22

katierocket just wanted to say I am in the same boat, been ttc for 10 months, no luck...and yes it feels like an eternity!!

Due on sat, don't feel any different so not expecting to be pg, trying to keep postive but feel low. Keep telling myself it will happen when its right!! x

cp3 · 23/02/2005 08:30

Nellie im at that stage too. What will be will be. It was ruining our relationship earlier on into ttc and now things are back on track and we are so much happier and its because im not stressing each mont. What will be will be, if its meant to happen it will. Cant help but think my age is a factor. What ages are uoi again?

MINNIE1 · 23/02/2005 08:34

O guess what happened me this morning!!!!

AF arrived woopeedooo!!!!!!!!! I am going to give it socks this month and i will be pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope no more af arrives on this thread...

fresco · 23/02/2005 08:39

hi nelli.i know what you mean, so do i keep telling myself its going to happen when time is right but its taking forever.
today, dd's nan is taking her for some shoes because she is only just beginning to start walking...but no, they want to waste their money on shoes, and then i am going to have to spend the day at the great grans because she is desperate to see dd.she is seeing her on Friday for godsake!!! Leave me alone!!!! i got so much to do at home!!!
i know its not fair, i am being selfish but we all are going on holiday in May (i couldnt personnally care less about that holiday) all i want is to get pg.but its our first hol since dd was born and we have to spend it with the whole family!!!what a hol....

why is it that when you want to b alone with your dd/ds granparents want to join? leave us alone!!

fresco · 23/02/2005 08:41
