Thought I'd start another thread as the last one was SO successful but is starting to take a while to load and I keep losing my place in it!

A quick update on my stats - on CD39 of third cycle since getting AF back after DS was born in April 2004 (10.5 months old).

Have endometriosis and PCOS so have decided to let nature take its course over the next few months and if I fall pg naturally, then so be it. If I don't, then we'll try clomid again (worked first time for us with DS).

Am still breastfeeding, so have erratic cycles - they were always long (so far have had AF visit twice and had 50 and 42-day cycles).

No idea when I ov - may try OPK's next month if no success this month (and don't think I am pg atm).

Think that's it!

Lots and lots of babydust to all the ttcers and lots and lots of babyglue to those who've just had BFPs (and more congrats!). xxx

BTW congrats Hellkat, well done.Wishing you lots and lots of happiness and a healthy 9 months!!
Can you send babydust this way?

popadopalis · 05/03/2005 10:26

CONGRATULATIONS Hellkat!! Hope you have a fab pregnancy and everything goes well for you.

Well I'm CD31 now and probably due on Tuesday/thursday but who knows with my wierd cycles. Not holding out much hope of pg this month and expect horrible Af is on her way.

Hope everyone is well.

Munzie I used to live in Edinburgh and my mum's family are mostly all there. It's a fab place to live and very beautiful!

HellKat · 05/03/2005 10:28

Thankyou very much!!!!!!!!!
Still slightly in shock but ecstatic none the less.

munnzieb · 05/03/2005 10:29

hell cat bit congrats hon.

ES/Fres, well i'm on with moving up, my mum tells me (from one of her friends at work) that you can fly from Edin, to s'ton in an hour for about £25, and as that was my main worry (that i'd be sooo far from my family on the south coast) I guess that's kinda redundant now, as s'ton is half hour from my family, it just means i'll be dependant on my parent's for lifts everywhere, unless I can go on their insurance for the weekend. (i'll have to ask about it) or at least up grade my car ins to be able to drive any car. Althou i'm a city (ish) girl from portsmouth, I hate living inner city and the hussle and bussle, so prefer the villiage life we have now, we would be living in the married quarters, and I have no intenetions of buying a house as the army provide one, (am still looking into the regt there. I just don't want to live in a big town to raise my children (when we finally get there and have them) as we'll be there for 3 yrs the child/ren will be about 4/5 ish i'm assuming all goes well when we leave. No offense guys but i'd rather have London, (not that I like London) I bloody hate it, but it's only an two hours from my mum, and three from DH's mum, also we'll get to live opposite Hyde park in Chelsea. so have to get working on DH! lol. Still at least I know I can fly home easily enough (and is a lot cheaper than driving down as well)

popadopalis · 05/03/2005 10:39

Hellkat - Thanks for the babydust! I need all the babydust I can get!!

Munzie - Poor you, whenever I want to persuade Dh to do something I always think of that line from MY Big Fat Greek Wedding when the mother says, "The man may be the head of the house but the woman is the neck and she can turn the head anyway she wants"!!!!

As you can probably tell I'm not one for being subservient to my Dh!! Me want it, me get it! Does that make me a bad person?!!

munnzieb · 05/03/2005 10:56

lol@pop, no not at all hon, with my DH u have to 'plant' the idea and then nurture it so he thinks it's his idea when all along really it was mine! lol. we tried him being the boss in the house and it nearly went to divorce courts so we swopped and i'm boss, we get along famously now!

popadopalis · 05/03/2005 11:31

lol@Munzie!! Woman just know better and men should just accept that!! I think they probably do after a while of being worn down by the Dw's!! Hahahaha!!

When does your Dh get back?

HunkerMunker · 05/03/2005 19:07

Congratulations, Hellkat!

How has the endometriosis affected you? I have it badly (and PCOS) and it's vile, isn't it?

Sorry not been around for a little while. Hope everyone's well - going to catch up on the rest of the thread now

Woke up this morning with tender boobs and i so want it to be cos im pregnant but i know its cos af is due. How is everyone else. Anyones af due this week too?

HellKat · 06/03/2005 08:35

Thankyou Hunker!
I had endo pretty badly ( have had to have laproscopy and some lazoring). It kicked in big time after having DS no2 (had 2 periods before he was 1 month old!) Dp and I did'nt think we'd conceive as quickly this time but lo and behold we did (still think it's either a miracle or he's just got super sperm!! )
As always throwing the babydust round by the bucketload!!!!!

munnzieb · 06/03/2005 09:54

pop - 6 weeks he's off traveling about this weekend, so at least he'll be cheery when we chat on tuesday (he's been v depressed of late and wants to come home) still he's offering to buy me lots of nice pressies so i'm not moaning!

HM - how r u getting on with PCOS? have they offered you any form of medication for it?

piffle · 06/03/2005 13:18

Af was due Thursday and still no sign, tested earlier was negative though so not sure what to think! Both Af's since the ectopic have been as always bang on 29 days as per previous cycle so very curious.
Will test again in 2 days I guess!
Good luck to everyone waiting for AF
xxxxxxxxx

popadopalis · 06/03/2005 19:42

Hello everyone! CD32 now, due on Tuesday or possibly Thursday. Don't think I'm pg and have been badly PMS with Dh last couple of days. He's learning to steer clear at these times!

I've had tender boobs and sometimes have felt sicky but never for longer than half an hour. Think Af is definately on her way.

It's not fair, not only do we have to discover that we're not pg again but we have to suffer Af and all she brings with her as well. Sorry, feeling very grumpy today about the whole thing. I've been gorging on chocolate so feel fat and unhealthy to top it off.

popadopalis · 06/03/2005 19:51

Cp3 - When are you due? Do you think you might be pg? Hope you get a BFP this month.

Munzie - to hear Dh has been depressed. I'm sure you'll cheer him up once he gets home. to hear about you getting lots of presents. Hope one of them is a baby!!

Piffle - Hope you get a BFP when you test next.

Baby dust to us all!

katierocket · 06/03/2005 19:57

piffle - good luck x

pop - AF sucks doesn't it; it's torture that week before when you think/know it's coming and you just want to get it over with.

CD13 (of 28 day cycle) here. DOn't think we've really BDed enough but we'll see. Been TTC 9 months now so getting v fed up with it all.

good luck ladies

Hulababy · 06/03/2005 20:06

Good luck piffle.

Had a good weekend, but been dirnking loads this week. Next weekend is about OV time, so both me and DH need to stay off the drinking this week I think!

cp3 · 06/03/2005 20:23

Evening all. Im not staying, too knackered. Just wanted to see how all were doing. Af is due on Tuesday i think but cant be sure cos i have trouble in that department as in i bled the whole of January, so who knows. Could be Pg but i very much doubt it as i have serious pmt and a great need to eat chocolate(loads of it).

I was sick last night but that was because i ate too much chinese.

Anyway hope you all had a lovely Mothers day as i did. Take care, baby dust and love to all.

(see im all sentimental too )

munnzieb · 06/03/2005 20:27

evening girls, pop ((hugs)) don't u just hate AF the little madam! if she comes tell her in no uncertain terms u don't wanna see her again for the next 9 months - at least! lol.

Had a cuppa with my friend today, am feeling a bit weird about the exp as we're both trying and she has the PCOS she said If I was to get PG first she wouldn't know if/how she would cope with it. I'd hate for it to ruien our friendship as we've been mates for a few years, but on the other hand, if the boot was on the other foot and they got PG first, yeah i'd be a bit miffed/ gutted but on the same notion i'd be happy for them and supportive, if that makes sence. so now I don't know what to think, still not to worry about it, it's at least 6 weeks off (sorry 5 now! lol) end of another week for us!

I'm hoping for a baby pop - althou I'm hoping we won't manage it in april, (I know it sounds bad) but well we have a tonne of partys to go to! - and I wanna have a good olde drink! lol.

popadopalis · 06/03/2005 20:49

Munzie - I know what you mean about drinking. Every month I stop drinking when I ovulate and until horrid Af comes and then I think, "What a waste of Friday nights without a drink!". The worst one was New years Eve. I didn't drink much, only had one glass of wine but I knew Af was coming but didn't want to chance it so I was really good. All New Years Day too and then about 8.30pm New Years Day I came on. Little buggar that Af is. First thing I did was get a baileys though!!

katierocket - Af is a b*h! That's all I can say about her really. She's horrid, painful and I get the worst PMS which doesn't help when I have to be all understanding to my vulnerable clients at work and they're being all teenage and moaning about really stupid things and all I want to do say is "Well at least your bloody pregnant!". Not so great for them I guess. Hope you get your wish this month.

Cp3 - I am exactly the same, due on Tuesday, PMS, sick with gorging on chocolate. I know how you feel. It really sucks.

Dh wants me to watch a old subtitled chinese film with him. He's trying to convince me by telling me it's about girl power!! He's getting too clever now that he knows me!!Bless him and hi little martial arts films. He's such a sweetie, he's giggling away to himself watching his film (another chinese one, not the one he wants me to watch. No he's keeping that treat for me. Woo Hoo!!) Sorry sarcasm!!

katierocket · 06/03/2005 20:53

started going to an acupuncturist. He said DP and I had to give up drinking for 3 months!! apparently it increases your chances by 20%. That was 2 weeks ago and I've drunk one night (was a 40th birthday) but going to try and stop now.Don't think DP wil be able to stop completely. LOL about thinking "bugger what a waste of a friday night".

popadopalis · 06/03/2005 20:59

It's the one thing that I will miss when I'm pregnant. Not that I'm a raving alcoholic or anything!! Dh has cut down on his drinking to help his wee swimmers not that he drinks a lot but if he goes out with his mates he won't get completely wasted. This obvioulsy has the added benefit of him not coming home drunk, stinking of booze and wanting some in a drunken, letchy, get-off-of-me way!! Not one for drunken bd I have to say!!

popadopalis · 06/03/2005 21:11

Right I've given in and I'm off to watch the girl power, subtitled, kick ass movie with Dh. He's happy! Speak later.

Baby dust, lots and lots of baby dust.
