...then join in here.

One day I am certain I am pregnant with period like pains and sore boobs, the next day I am certain I'm not.

It's an agonising wait...how slow will the next seven days be!!!

Feel the same? Lets joke and cry together about the ridiculous state of mind this puts us in!!!

I'm still in the game - despite feeling like AF was about to arrive alot of last week - no show yet. AF was due yesterday on a 26 day cycle which i normally have. Tom
morow will be day 28 and day 29 will be 14 days since I had fertility treatment. I'm feeling positive, but don't want to get my hopes up in case AF arrives!

fairywing · 09/09/2008 07:46

I'm out AF got me this morning

summerwhatsummer · 09/09/2008 08:29

Sorry to hear that Fairywing.

I did another test this morning and same as yesterday. BFN but if you look hard there is a faint blue line. This was there after about 5 mins of taking the test. I looked at it 10 mins later and its slightly darker (but not much. Still have to squint and hold it to the light).

Luckily I don't have any more tests so will hold off until Friday which is AF due date. 'Tis driving me mad.

Fingers crossed for Dorchies, Cece and Pussinjimmy...lets hope we all have good news this month

bluebell82 · 09/09/2008 08:37

hiya ladies- sorry to hear about the BFN..

I think I am out, did two tests yesterday for some stupid reason, af due on Fr, both BFN - I had a BFP by this point with my DD so I am taking it that AF will be right one time for my dh 30th bday!!!!!!!!

I know it isa little premature but I struggled to concieve my dd, took 2 years and some mc's later and I just don't know if I can go through that again.. slightly melodramatic I know but why can't I be one of those women who catch before they take thier knickers off!

cece · 09/09/2008 13:50

Sorry to hear so many have got their af.

No news here yet though. Af due from yesterday till about the end of the week - can vary a bit! Which doesn't ehlp when you are waiting for it!

Dorchies · 09/09/2008 19:34

I had a BFP!!!! Good luck anyone else still in x

dinkyboysmum · 09/09/2008 19:43

dorchies congratulations!!! hope it's a sticky bean for you!!!
cece how are your temps looking? still high?

summerwhatsummer · 09/09/2008 19:47

That's fabulous news Dorchies! Congratulations. You said you had fertility treatment - how long have you been trying?

Hope you're celebrating (sans alcohol, stinky cheese etc) tonight!!!

Really hope it works out brilliantly for you.

summerwhatsummer · 09/09/2008 19:50

p.s. just reading back and Bluebell, don't give up yet. Every PG is different so while there's no AF you can keep hoping. So many of us (and I should know!) get BFN's before AF is due. Keep positive. You never know.

Dorchies · 09/09/2008 20:24

Thanks all - THis was only our second attempt with Donor Sperm IUI. It took five attempts to conceive our first child (not 19 months)

Summer - have you done another test yet? If you had a really faint line a couple of days ago, it should be darker within 24 hours - fingers crossed!

summerwhatsummer · 09/09/2008 20:39

No I haven't. Have ordered some tests over the internet figuring that they'll take a few days to arrive which is one way of restraining me . I'll keep you posted.

cece · 09/09/2008 22:26

congratulations dorchies, that is great

no news here

summerwhatsummer · 09/09/2008 23:52

For some reason, still up working and thought I'd check in (again!).

Cece - no news is good. wait another day or so and if no AF then test, test, test away...

I keep symptom spotting. Twinges in tummy, swear to God I felt really hot tonight (as in heat not sexually!), did I have a funny teate in my mouth? Not sure. And did I feel sick earlier? Sure I didn. But three more days to go though til AF day so STILL early days. I don't think I can bear much more of this!

judging by the weather forecast, I think its time to change my name. If I can work out how to do it I might be something connected to Autumn by the morning, just so you know...

Night to all those still hanging around

Dorchies · 10/09/2008 07:34

I am soooooo excited - I could hardly sleep last night. I was also going over in my head how sick I felt last time I was pregnant and getting worried about how i'll cope with a 19 month old if I feel so rubbish!

I have to ring the fertility clinic today and get myself booked in for a 7 week scan. Last time that was the most amazing scan of them all. You truely know that there is only a 50% chance there will be a heart beat, and when there was we were both in tears!

Cece, Summer (or Autumn), don't worry if you don't have any symptoms. I certainly don't have sore boobs, nausea, heat or anything yet. Last time that kicked in with me aroung 7 weeks.

Keep us posted x

madmarriedNika · 10/09/2008 10:44

Dorches- so pleased for you- many congrats
Like you I never had early symptoms with my first pregnancy, although I think second time round my boobs started to get huge very early(!)- but nausea didn't kick in until 8 weeks or so.

Don't worry too much about coping with 19 months old and being pregnant- yes it's tough but you'll find a way- I just kept making myself go to bed at like 8.30pm each night and saying to hell with housework for a few weeks- except the vital things- and bought food that's quick/easy to cook- DS lived off fish fingers for a few weeks (which I couldn't bare the smell of but at least were quick to cook- the smell of the oven at around 5pm resulted in an inevitable run to the loo...)
I have a 2yr 2month gap between my two and so far it's worked really well...
Hope your lil bean is a sticky one Good luck for the scan.

Good luck Summer & Cece- there's certainly still hope! Otherwise will see you on the June thread perhaps for more fun!!

KiwiKat · 10/09/2008 14:10

Fantastic news Dorchies.

PussinJimmyChoos · 10/09/2008 20:48

Still no af! Tested today but bfn BUT it was midday and not fmu (I'm a twunt for not using fmu) and my urine wasn't very concentrated at all so....this is doing my head in...if my period is going to arrive, I want it now as I'm fed up with knicker checking! I'm fasting Ramadan at the moment so wondering if that may delay my period? Never has done before but....am twingy and am sure my boobs are tingly but am not hot with slighter darker discharge - which I normally get before af

With DS, I didn't get a BFP until 4 days after AF was due. I did two tests that week and both were negative and it was only the 3rd one on the fourth day (about 3 days after implantation bleed) that I got a bfp - albeit not that strong a line

I can't help but keep my hopes up. What do you guys think?

PussinJimmyChoos · 10/09/2008 20:49

Ps

Dorchies - many congrats!

any advice on my situation?

Dorchies · 10/09/2008 21:34

Hi Puss - keeping fingers crossed for you. No AF is a good sign, I guess you can only keep testing with FMU and keep hoping - it is so frustrating though.

Thanks everyone for your congratulations!

PussinJimmyChoos · 11/09/2008 12:24

CD 29 today. No af...tested with fmu today but fmu...wtf is going on...

PussinJimmyChoos · 11/09/2008 12:24

I'm out. AF came this morning with a great big gush. Thought I was handling it well until I burst into tears on DH over breakfast. Starting to doubt if I'll ever get PG.
