...then join in here.

One day I am certain I am pregnant with period like pains and sore boobs, the next day I am certain I'm not.

It's an agonising wait...how slow will the next seven days be!!!

Feel the same? Lets joke and cry together about the ridiculous state of mind this puts us in!!!

Hi dinky, fingers crossed can you send me the link think I am going to get some!

mammajamma · 01/09/2008 21:44

Thank bluebell, i don't think he will miss me at all. i will be the one walking away blubbing!!

Don't know how early you can test, prob the 7th - the clearblue digital say 4 days before although i know some people get BFP's earlier then that. I got a free CB digital one to test so i'm keeping that untill Saturday and hoping that it will give me the BFP. I'm not chancing it sooner as i don't want to waste it!

FWIW i conceived both DS's on 1st cycles, so it is possible!! Somehow though i don't think i've been so lucky this time, no symptoms yet, except feeling fat....but that's just cause i've been scoffing to much chocolate over the past couple of weeks!

deanychip · 02/09/2008 10:23

im totally mixed up with dates!
Think af is due between Sat and Tues next week, i am never regular so i cant say for sure.
Clear blue jobby didnt work, just blank screen, dont know what i did wrong.

Still feel a bit sick and "odd".
Fingers crossed because i am getting too old for this lark.

bluebell82 · 02/09/2008 10:39

oooooh woke up this morning and feel nothing at all. af not due until 12th so ten days until d-day...

oh deany how annoying is that!!!!

summerwhatsummer · 02/09/2008 10:58

Hi - can I join you? I'm on CD 19 and due on Sept 12th. Lots of BDing - CD 11, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 - and had loads of ECWM from CD 15 to 18 (seems to have cleared up now).

No symptoms yet (of course!) but hoping that this might be my month. Have been ttc forever so would be a lovely way to end the summer!

Hope this is a successful thread for lots of us!

deanychip · 02/09/2008 11:01

bluebell.....tis a funny old carry on isnt it!
i felt nothing all day yesterday, today feel different....im going to either have RAGING D&V. or a humdinger of an af!!!

madmarriedNika · 02/09/2008 11:21

Can I join you too please? AF due on thurs- am on CD26 now- and desperately resisting the urge to test . We're TTC#3, and this is my second cycle- but I was away from DH over what I think should have been my fertile period this month so think a BFP is unlikely... however I'm still imagining symptoms (though boobs haven't become sore/massive which is usually my first symptom). I was fortunate to conceive Ds & DD straight away so have never really even worked out my ovulation dates etc...but fortunately usually have a regular 28 day cycle...

Good luck to you all

daisy5 · 02/09/2008 14:02

My symptoms gave all gone again!! Only the slightest of twinges. It really does my head in...!!!

Maybe you started to get pregnant and things weren't quite right. That might account for it coming early and getting the pains??? I'm no expert - just a thought.

OP posts:
daisy5 · 02/09/2008 16:26

so sorry bexaa - how frustrating. I'm beginning to think I'm not either.

Dear All, sorry only just had chance to log on again.

bexaa - no was our first round of trying professional help - if no luck this time then will be back to see the specialist at Chelsea & Westminster at the Assisted Conception Clinic. Have been doing a round of follicle tracking (scans) and things seem to be working my side - however my other half (or better half - depends who you speak to!!) has (oh he'll kill me for divulging this) "slow sperm" - so hopefully all my headstands will have helped (the things we do!!! tee hee)

mammajamma - good to hear that these boobs are normal because quite frankly it's a new thing for me to have such huge knockers! they're less on fire today and not quite as sensitive (phew!)

Feeling tired and nauseous today, although that could be (a) because I was awake between 4am and 6am for no reason and (b) I was reading a newspaper on the bus up to High Street Ken and if I read whilst in a moving vehicle I always get nauseous. Although in saying that I am now safely ensconced at my kitchen table 3 hours later and still feeling nauseous. So either I am preggers this time or I'm having phantom sympathy symptoms to keep my best friend company who is just confirmed pregnant. Nothing would surprise me !!!

ROLL ON THE WEEKEND !! I was the sad person in the Fertility Aisle in Boots today drooling over pregnancy tests, it was very hard not to buy them all and run home. I must wait... I must wait...

Good luck everyone - fingers and toesies crossed for all of us.

Bexaa - sorry to hear about AF. Hope you're feeling okay.

Babyinarms - great news! Lets hope its the start of many more this month. What were your symptoms?

gusting · 03/09/2008 09:43

Hello, can I join you too please?

this is CD23 of my second cycle after coming off Pill (been on 17 years) so my system seems to have no idea what it's doing at all!

Bought a Clearblue monitor which has been giving me a "high" reading since CD12 but no peak as yet, so I've either missed ov or it never happened this month! So no idea if have been BDing in vain!

If my cycle is 28 days, would be due AF next wed, 10th Sept. If it is longer this month, which is poss, it could be due later.

However, yesterday and today had niggly crampy pains similar to AF so wondering if something is happening, although who knows what!! Surely I couldn't be ovulating this late? (I used Boots ov stick yesterday and it was negative). Or, if ovulated much earlier then could be implantation? Or could be early AF. Or, of course, could well be my imagination!!

madmarriedNika · 03/09/2008 10:00

Babyinarms- many congratulations! Hope the doctor is helpful- hopefully it is just a combination of implantation bleeding or your body having a "mini" period- I had this at 8 weeks with DD, spotted for 3 days and thought the worst (had no bleeding at all in my previous pregnancy), but apparently it is quite common for you to have very light periods around the time you would have had an AF...

Well I am rubbish and caved in yesterday using my only pregnancy test (a cheapie one from Tesco, not an early response or similar)- of course it was BFN. But I was feeling fairly awful and wondered if it could have been pregnancy related- but today I have come down with a cold so that explains it!! Still no AF but not due until tomorrow and TBH I do feel very pre-menstrual so really don't think this is the month for a BFP. Will know tomorrow anyhow!!

Bexaa- sorry your AF arrived, hope you are managing to feel positive about trying again.

Good luck with the waiting game everyone- stay strong and don't test until your AF is due!!!

summerwhatsummer · 03/09/2008 10:48

I have a question which has been very much on my mind. A few days ago I had quite painful cystitis (yet somehow still managed to do lots of BDing!). Do you think having cystitis affects your chances of conceiving? The cystitis has gone now but my tummy feels a bit tender and swollen. Do you think that is the remnants of cystitis or can I start to imagine something exciting is going on there?

I'm a mad obsessive, I know, but I just can't help it!

mammajamma · 03/09/2008 10:57

babyinarms - congratulations on your BFP!! How fab!

Bexaa - sorry to hear you got your AF.

I am so confused. I had really sore boobs yesterday, the first symptom that i've had so i started to get excited but they're back to normal today!
I'm starting to think that i've not been lucky this month.

I am so tempted to use my CB digital test today as it is 4 days before!! I don't want to waste it if it's too soon and i really want to avoid spending a fortune on tests.

happylittlebunny · 03/09/2008 15:38

Symptomless Day ..... what is going on? Boobs are back to normal (well only slightly tender), stomach bloating/hardness/ache gone.

Am feeling a little deflated (literally!). Still, only a few days to go. But really feeling like my body was just teasing me. So confusing. Hey ho.

Will do a 4 day early test on Saturday just to check (AF due Tues next week).

And there's always next month. Apparently at my (grand old) age of 39 there's only a 15% chance each month of getting pregnant. Pretty slim really. Next month I'm locking my husband in for the Ov/days...!! No one's leaving the house whilst there's a chance!!
