...then join in here.

One day I am certain I am pregnant with period like pains and sore boobs, the next day I am certain I'm not.

It's an agonising wait...how slow will the next seven days be!!!

Feel the same? Lets joke and cry together about the ridiculous state of mind this puts us in!!!

happylittlebunny · 03/09/2008 15:43

Hang on... I'm only 38, not 39! Good God, I'm losing my mind as well !!!

daisy5 · 03/09/2008 15:53

Me too happylittlebunny. Symptomless!!! After two weeks of activity it all goes suspiciously silent.

I'm 41 and am not too bad at getting pregnant (if I may say so myself) - a few hiccups at keeping them, but have a live one to show I can do it!!!

I wouldn't get too concerned about the 38 or 39 thing. There are loads of people getting pregnant at your age. As you say, just LOCK THE DOORS and have an Austin Powers shagtastic time.

Daisy5 - ha ha ha - thank you ! And to cheer up our "symptom-less" selves, my friend has just confirmed she's pregnant. Initially she felt nauseous & had the boobs thing (which set alarm bells ringing) then she had no symptoms whatsoever as well as negative tests right up to day before her AF day, but now she's positive all the way. So there's hope for all us symptomless/negative test bunnies out there!

bluebell82 · 03/09/2008 19:16

well I caved and tested today using a digital- not even due until 12th so I don't what I was trying to acheive! and it was a BFP!!!!!......... only joking it was BFN and said it in big black letters! Was feeding my dd aswell and wanted to cry! Anyway no symptoms now just a rumbly tum.. hope every is holding up xxxx

dinkyboysmum · 03/09/2008 19:55

...tested this morning and BFN! how ridiculous! too early i know. now feel poo. i don know why we do it, testing early wont change the result, just the bank balance!

babyinarms · 03/09/2008 20:12

Hi ladies, sorry ye are getting BFN but its early days and those early tests are not 99% accurate until the day your AF is due so there is still hope!
I got onto GP today. she wants me to repeat test tomorrow morning and if still positive(fingers crossed) i must call to her fri for bloods then early scan next week.

i am very stressed by the whole thing as i am still spotting and i know getting worked up wont help anything but i cant help myself..poor DH getting the brunt of it..and its my birthday today and all....hopefully next week we will have something to celebrate!

Congratulations baby in arms - hope the spotting soon stops for you x

Boobs still sore, been needing the toilet loads and am knackered tonight - fingers crossed!

I worry though it's just my mind playing tricks because I want to be having symptoms. It's hard to trust yourself at times.

Not long until we start finding out ...!!

mammajamma · 03/09/2008 20:53

Daisy5 - you're doing a fab job updating the list!!

I too have had a symptomless day! it's so confusing.

Bluebell & Dinky - i know how tempting it is to test early, i think i may cave tomorrow. I just want to know either way , this limbo is a nightmare.

i shall still keep my fingers crossed for everyone else!

mammajamma · 03/09/2008 20:54

oddsock - sounds good for you. Only 2 day s to go!!!!

daisy5 · 03/09/2008 21:28

Thanks mammajamma - it's hard to focus on much this week so updating the list is much more fun.
My boobs have come up all sore, but I am not peeing much and am not warm at all, so really not sure.
Shall test tomorrow too. Watch Desperate Housewives, collapse into deep sleep then wake up and pee.
Till then.

Add me in! I had fertility treatment last wed so will be testing on the 10th. These two weeks are just dragging by. Not having any symptoms, although had some AF like pains at the weekend - hoping they may be implantation pains, but probably just constipation!

Good luck everyone

daisy5 · 04/09/2008 10:14

Alas, I am out for this month. BFN this morning, followed one minute later by AF (two days early - 25 day cycle seems quite short!?).

I'm considering trying temping, as my temperature seems to go up up up as soon as I get pregnant and apparently it tells you lots about when you are ovulating etc.

Good luck to all of you, especially Dorchies.

babyinarms - BFP Congrats. Niggly spotting.

daisy5 - planning now for a Gemini - just realised I don't have any Geminis among family and friends. Isn't that strange!

OP posts:
madmarriedNika · 04/09/2008 10:43

daisy5- sorry to hear AF came But you sound positive for next month- let's hope it'll be time for you to fill that Gemini gap in your family!

AF not here yet but have strong AF pains, so reckon it'll arrive by this eve. Haven't done another test just because I don't have any in the house! If I'm sensible I will resist buying another one until this evening, by which time I reckon AF'll arrived so then can spare the expense of doing a test... But on the other hand I'm tempted to pick up a test from Tescos on way past at lunchtime... Will try to resist!!

Babyinarms- how did the test go this morn? Fingers crossed it's still positive. It must be so hard wondering what's going on.

oddsock- how are you doing?

Will update this eve.

mammajamma · 04/09/2008 10:59

daisy5 - i'm so sorry that you got your AF. I'm going to test tomorrow.
i'll keep you posted.

summerwhatsummer · 04/09/2008 11:10

Sorry to hear AF got you Daisy5. At least it came early. The worst is when it comes late, you get over excited and then the witch turns up.

No symptoms at all so far. Don't know whether that's a good sign - last month my boobs were tingling by this point and I was convinced I was PG but AF turned up on CD27.

Good luck Mammajamma (and all those with imminent AF dates) - lets hope we get some BFPs in the next few days!

PussinJimmyChoos · 04/09/2008 12:49

Am due to test 10th Sept...am sure I ovulated on time and had slight colour to show for it and cramps. The colour went away as soon as the ov window ended but the cramps haven't. Not sure whether this is because I'm now off the pill and so everything is just re-adjusting (I did have a c section with DS so maybe that's causing the niggles now am off pill?)

Boobs were tingling last night and am very emotional BUT I have weaned myself of ADs for PND and am fasting Ramadan so it could be that rather than being pg isywim?

This is my 1st cycle of ttc and am already getting obsessed....I'm not liking the 2ww!!!

daisy5 - so sorry to hear your AF has arrived - fingers crossed for next month x

babyinarms - Happy Birthday x

In a moment of weakness this morning I did one of those 6 day early tests - negative of course. I'd promised myself I'd at least wait till Saturday and do a 4 day early. Oops.

Feeling super-tired today. Will just have to keep myself busy till next Tuesday and see what happens. Good luck everyone xxx

babyinarms · 04/09/2008 16:10

Thanks fo birthday messages!
Sorry Daisy5 to hear AF arrived but heres hoping for next month!

Unfortunately AF arrived this morning for me and test was negative..poor little bean failed to implant i would say.
I am upset but not giving up hope, will take a break this month, let eveything settle down and then start fresh in october...will keep in touch though and keep watch for any of your BFP's

xxxxxxxxxx

summerwhatsummer · 04/09/2008 16:33

Babyinarms - so sorry to hear that. And on your birthday! I hope you enjoy your evening and treat yourself to a glass of wine or something. I do feel for you. The last time I conceived I had a chemical pregnancy. This came after two MCs and it completely knocked me. A good friend then told me she was PG for the second time and I went into melt down. I don't think I've ever cried more in my whole life. I decided to take a couple of months off, which was hard to do. But it was the best thing for me. I'm now back trying again but I don't feel nearly as agitated / desperate as before and while I want to PG more than anything in the world, I also know that there are lots of other good things in my life and that I should make sure I enjoy those before a baby comes along and throws it all into chaos!

I hope you make the most of your month off and wish you all the luck for October.

xxxxxxxx

What a blow babyinarms. I just had a miscarriage at 3 months (3 months ago) so know how it feels for it to all go wrong.

You can look forward perhaps to a lovely romantic sensitive Cancer (conceive in Oct) or a smart cheeky Leo (Nov) . I'm all into star signs at the moment. I would love a little Leo child.

summerwhatsummer - so true, life is for the living - kick your heels up at all opportunities, as you say they dry up a little once you become an indentured slave to a gorgeous dear child.

I will keep an eye on the site, as I kicked it off and am now really wishing lots of BFP's.
