shit, maybe ignore that. the line was def there within a minute of peeing on stick and for a couple of mins after but now ten mins later and there is nothing there - nothing at all. Maybe I am going truly mad?

Aniyan · 03/10/2008 11:18

Yellowflowers - it might be worth either going to your GP to get a blood test so you know for sure, or, in the meantime, get a digital test.

Over the summer I used many many tests, as I had a mmc and my hcg levels took ages to drop afterwards. I was monitoring them myself & waiting for a BFN so we could try again.

After driving myself mad (and getting eye-strain ) looking at possible lines/no lines on tests, I broke into my piggy bank and bought digital tests instead - they are a bit abrupt and unfriendly and don't leave much room for doubt, but if you really want an answer, maybe you should get one - or go to your GP.

Good luck to you - it's such a roller-coaster, this baby-making business!

Wishing · 03/10/2008 12:56

hello yellow flowers

thanks for your advice - i know in theory that sounds like it should work but i dont think it would - i dont think she would be all that impresed with a new born for that long - DH says we arent giving up now so i guess he isnt as worried as me! guess its just me being hormonal!?!

Anyway on to you!! much more exciting as possible bfp! if your af wasnt lie it normally is and you still have a faint line i would go to gp - i have not hd a good experience with home pregnancy tests and always feel like ive shelled out a fortune for nothing! and docs use a bog standard little plastic box - so is all a cb all its cracked up to be??

my heart says try the docs, they may do a blood test for which should help clear it up - i would try not to sit pondering though - ive done enough of that! and you may start to imagine symptoms or cause uncessary stress!

get the docs phoned and keep in touch!

i have everything crossed for you - well again except my legs!

xxxxx

littlemissmischief · 04/10/2008 09:19

BFN for me this morning

Im so convinced I am pg tho because of how my boobs are because they are never like they are now apart from when i was pg with ds1, but im either setting myself up for a mighty fall or feel like im going to have to wait ages for the proof that i am!

I cant cope with all this malarky, its really getting me down not knowing whats going on!

Hows everyone else doing?

yellowflowers · 04/10/2008 10:20

hi all - thanks for nice words. My pee was a hyperactive orange this morning - does that mean anything? Oh well, will find out soon enough. I feel for you littlemissmischief - fingers' crossed. x

Wishing · 04/10/2008 13:10

silentlywondering · 04/10/2008 18:29

New test arrived in the post today. Stupid thing is I am now scared to test. If it comes back neg I am going to be gutted especially as I had a m/c earlier this year and baby would of been due this week. If it's positive will be pancicking in case it all goes horribly wrong again.

Wishing · 05/10/2008 00:39

Hello Silently wondering - let us know when you do test - best of luck! good news already that af hasnt arrived. im so sorry to hear about mc last time but you have to try move on best you can. if you get a bfp you really need to try not to worry as it wont be any good for you or the bean!

hop your ok - lots of wishes from me and baby dust coming your way xxxxxxx

yellowflowers · 06/10/2008 09:31

Hi,

Went to GP and said either I am pregnant in which case I had period and one positive but after time limit test and several negative ones os am I still pregnant, or negative in which case which sore boobs for last two weeks and metallic taste, and she sent away urine for testing but not blood, and said boobs will just be hormonal.

I am annoyed because yes boobs sore pre period starting but now it is 10 days post period so shouldn't be sore now so hormones wouldn't explain that. And also because I told her about the one positive test but she said it's possible to get a false positive because of an LH surge pre period. This would be fine but the positive result ()after time limit on test) came on cycle day 7 so couldn't be because of a pre period LH surge because the test wasn't done pre period but she didn't seem to understand this.

So now I annoyed because I felt she didn;t get it and knew less than me about these things, and have to wait for urine result and if negative still need to go back and ask for blood test or to get them to check out the very sore boobs.

Have bought another shop bought test (one clear blue and one sainsbury own) but don't need loo so can't test yet.

I just want to cry with frustration.

littlemissmischief · 06/10/2008 10:34

Oh Yellowflowers - You poor thing! It must be so frustrating for you. I would make another appoint with a different doctor and tell them how down your feeling and how hard this all is for you and hopefully you will get a nicer doctor and better results. I really hope you get this sorted soon hun x

Im now on CD44 and feeling a bit rubbish after my BFN on Saturday, just hoping I tested too early! My boobs have doubled in size and are veiny and sore and have only had one period longer than this one so im feeling optimistic but dont want to get my hope up too much. Am going to buy another test for this Sunday because we are going on holiday on Monday so hoping to get a BFP to go with otherwise I will wait another week and test again if no AF. Its so frustrationg tho!

yellowflowers · 06/10/2008 10:38

good luck l;ittlemissmischief, thinking of you.

no point me getting another dr appt until gp gets urine test result

silentlywondering · 06/10/2008 16:54

dinkyboysmum · 06/10/2008 21:06

sorry, work's been manic so ahve been afk for a while. am now 6or7dpo i think, of a roughly 36 days cycle. did one of those very early 10ul tests earlier, BFN, silly of me really, didnt even use FMU! has anyone else used them and gor BFP this early? how reliable are they?

no signs really, keep thinking (.)(.) are sore

yup, think they are! nothing else though.

ohhhh, 2ww is so frustrating...when should i test (and dont even bother telling me 14dpo...it aint gonna happen!) i have some 25ul tests upstairs...when can i waste try those?

RipMacWinkle · 06/10/2008 21:12

Looking poor for me too. AF due tomorrow/Wed. Tested today - BFN. Have been v pre-AF crampy since lunchtime. Thoroughly p!ssed off with this whole thing now.

Ah well, hopefully af will arrive soon at least.

Good luck LMM, dinky and anyone else who's still waiting.

leaky · 06/10/2008 21:38

Hi,

just checking in to see who might be joining me on the June thread....

good luck Littlemiss & RipMacWinkle

will be checking this page over the next few days to see how you are.GOOD LUCK (try not to feel too down Rip

MintChocAddict · 06/10/2008 21:52

Hi All,

Thinking of everyone. Sorry about your AF news Silentlywondering. . Hopefully next month'll be your lucky one.

You must be extremely frustrated with the Doc Yellowflowers. I don't think they realise how much TTC can affect people.
Hopefully you'll get some good news soon.

I'm still waiting for AF. Now day 34/35ish I think, but as tend to have long cycles will hang off for a few days to test if no AF by then.

Good luck LMM and fingers crossed for you RipMacWinkle, Dinkyboysmum and everyone else still waiting.

LovelyMonster · 06/10/2008 22:00

Hi everyone. yay to all the bfps. Sorry to those who have bfn/af/limbo!!!!

Hope everyone not feeling too down and making the most of lovely glasses of very expensive wine!

I am just starting week 4 so af could come at anytime in the next 7 days. Have had 2 friends this week give birth to beatiful little boys. So happy for them but really pulls at the old heart strings.
Unfortnately Im not feeling to hopeful this month as DH was in Berlin during OV (managed to just catch beginning and tail end of it). But maybe a good thing not to feel too mch pressure this month. Have the normal sore boobs but that always happens around this time.

Trying to stay positive and not feel sorry for myself! Feel very luck to have a lovely DH to love and support me so life not too bad huh!

Hope everyone is feeling well!
