Thought I'd start a new thread for those of us who are out for May. Love to see some of my old friends here as well as maybe some new ones

sammysam welcome and thanks for the positive thoughts!

Don't be down on yourself about being jealous of other PG people, t'is perfectly natural and I think doubly worse when its close friends and relatives. My sis is due in 4 weeks and got PG very quickly. As long as I keep my thoughts to myself and MN I reckon I'll do okay!

am trying to TTC # 2. have a 6mo dd, desparate to have another sooner rather than later but dd still in our room and the TTC'ing isnt really happening . plus i have this silly hang up about wanting a baby born between april and june cause dh teaches and want him around for the tough first bit during his summer holidays. silly, i know.

what does CD mean? according to those online conception calculators i am ovulating from today. have in laws up this weekend so no spare room even. and now dh late back from being on the piss so am sulking. ah well - sorry to have started with a moan. i will focus all my attention on vibe-sending for you guys.

mrsleroyjethrogibbs BFP,

Massive congrats to mrsleroyjetrogibbs...great start to this thread so early on. What due date would that make you...think you might have just made it into May... .

Tyaca...CD = calendar day,i.e. the day you are, in your cycle, day one being the first day of AF.

JLo2...nice to see the stats up again. Makes it so much easier to know where everyone are. Thanks for doing that. Will try to help keep it up to date. Have done today [friday] already as I have been up late colouring my hair in the event that this won't be possible if I get a BFP this/next month

Welcome Sammysam and Clairey80 (Claire is this your first child your ttc?)

Thank you! Linwin-i know it prob is quite normal it just makes you feel like a complete bitch though ,especially when i know if it was my sister i WOULD be happy-but that is another story!

Forgot to say congratulations mrsleroyjetrogibbs-lets hope it rubs off on everyone else!

My cycle has been quite long (33-36 days)since dd so a little while til I ovulate (hopefully), i'm a little worried i might not be or more likely might be ovulating too late as i'm still breastfeeding. Last month i started having acupuncture to help-I hope

funkybumps - Put down the pg test and go and make a cup of tea/mow the lawn/go shopping... Anything but test
Seriously, I know how hard it is, but it really is best to wait until you're due. Keep busy and stay away from the bathroom

Hi everyone,

I'm jumping over from the May thread to join you all if that's ok as AF arrived today. It's actually been really good to have a day of not wondering if I could be pregnant or not.

Please add me to the list.I'm on CD1, ttc#3 cycle 2.My cycle is spot on day 34 which means AF won't be due again until October! Oh my goodness, I can't believe I will have to wait until then to find out if I get pregnant this month.October sounds so far away but quite scarey that it's only 34 days away!

I'm off on holiday tomorrow but will check in again when I return. As I jet off I'll sprinkle baby dust over you all

Jael · 29/08/2008 16:29

Sorry AF got you leaky. Have a good holiday, you got room in your suitcase for me?

I'm gonna say hi to everyone, but not join quite yet... CD34 for me today. I'm 5 weeks "pregnant" tomorrow, but it's a possible chemical pregnancy. If anyone wants to read more about it, so I don't take up loadsa space on here, I've got a thread called "If anyone has had a chemical pregnancy can you help me please"

Jael x

hi - can I join you too?

TTC1, 3 MCs so far but still stupidly optimistic and hopeful. And June would be a lovely month...!

I'm CD15 today. Planned to have a complete shag fest this month but people keep staying and our house is so small that we would be heard! So managed CD 11 and CD 14. Had EWCM yesterday and today and told DH to get home as early as possible. But I have developed really painful cystitis this afternoon - WHY TODAY?!? - and the thought of sex is just too painful.

My cycles vary between 27 - 31 days...If I skip it today am I scuppering my chances? Or should I just go with the pain and BD anyway?

Hi Linwin, the saliva microscope thing is another device (if you can call it that) that is able to detect when ovulation is about to occur based on formations created by your saliva. Have heard and read it can be quite good, but there are afew out there and am not sure which one would be the best to get. They are about £20 and can last anything from 2yrs to a life time.

We're trying for our second - so is that TTC#2?

Woo, that sounds very fancy waiting2exhale - let us know how you get on.
Luckily (or not) I have loads of that EWCM stuff so I always know when I am OV'ing, its just fun that its never at the same point in the month. The first month we tried it was really early and DH was away and last month it was really late and we'd exhausted ourselves by then.

beanmother yes you are TTC # 2 - but check out the link at the top of the page which has all the acronyms - you'll get the hang of it in no time!

Can you believe I am still at work at this time on a friday night!

Hi, I have been ttc for a while and would love a June baby, so could I join in this thread please.

I'm TTC#2, on CD27 today, no AF yet but I'm expecting her to call any time - all the usual symptoms.

So next time of trying would result in June baby if successful!

Hey Mamamimi hope the red witch stays away for you, and Hi Beanmother I still dont know some of the codes and I've been here ages but asking people on here is the easiest thing I find

Just worked out that my AF could fall on when we are on holiday in Oct if I have a long cycle this month which wou;ld be rubbish cos cant wait to take ds swimming again plus obviously dont want an AF anyway but aswell we are going with family and wont want to drink if AF hasnt turned up - Oh the dilemas!!! My best case senario will be neing pg and having a BFP by then or having had my AF well before I go so we can enjoy hoilday and try again next time!
