I'm so sorry about your MC sans

I know exactly how you feel WZMO-i'm feeling very much the same. Sister in law going into hospital tomorrow to be induced-have found the last 9 months hard-think it'll not be much better with a gorgeous little baby around

Good luck lillypie!

Due on fri/sat so will have to wait til early next week to test really (as cycle can be longer)-just really hoping this month!

Am still feeling very tired, sick, grumpy, spotty-but this could just as easily be AF so trying not to get my hopes up too much-it is so hard though I'm feeling slightly crampy as well so think it looks bad sorry for the ramble!

Good luck to everyone x

sammysam · 16/09/2008 15:12

Ps was only talking yesterday to a friend about how stupid it is that af and pregnacy symptoms are so similar-there should be some very blatent difference to save all the am i/aren't i worrying-blue feet is an option i'd be happy with

JLo2 · 16/09/2008 17:03

Hope I didn't offend you littlemiss . Just trying to send you some of my laid back vibes. My DH thinks I can get quite stressy but even he admits I'm far more laid back than I used to be. I think it comes from having 3 DS's. You just kind of have to be to survive

I use my DH as a hot water bottle all the time, although I get complaints if I put my feet on his buttocks

wzmo · 16/09/2008 17:55

thanks for asking littlemissmiscief, i have a beautiful 13 1/2 month old and we always wanted 2 really close and with number 1 it happened right away and now this time we have been trying for about 6-7 months, but i was breastfeeding so i was not getting AF but still thought it might happen, so now that i have my AF i feel even more upset cause at least before i could tell myself that i was not on a cycle yet. UGGGHH well anyway. Hope all is well with you. thanks for letting me vent!

littlemissmischief · 16/09/2008 17:56

JLo2 - No you didnt offend me I know im a complete stress head it is one of my many downfalls, I wish I could be diffent all calm and relaxed but its not in my nature!

LovelyMonster - was going to join you with putting the heating on till DP come home and said he was boiling so now been stood in the kitchen warmimg up!

Lillypie - Totally agree with this ttc marlarky taking over your life- its so silly but you cant help it can you! x

1LittlePrincess · 16/09/2008 19:05

Hi all just a quickie

Have has lots of EWCM over the weekend and OV pains yesterday (CD18) so when DP got back from his trip away yesterday morning I naturally jumped his bones. LOL!

Sorry to see that the wicked witch has got so many over the weekend, but still on for June bambinos

I'm with you all on the obvious signs of pregnancy, and if there was a obv sign for Ovulation and Pregnancy, well how much easier would life be.

Could be Green for Ov and Blue after conception LOL!

Sorry if ive missed anything important, I will catch up later. Hugs to you all, just going to stop my thai curry from burning, as DP is catching up on some sleep he he he

x

Evening all,

just popping on for a bit of virtual moral support before I go out with friends who all have two kiddies and are expecting to tell them anyday that i am pregnant! At least it will be obvious as i can have a drink as still have AF!

I agree that OV and preg signs should be obvious - esp OV for me, got no idea!!!!

sammysam · 16/09/2008 21:01

think I may be out for this month-had a very small amount of brown cm earlier (can't think if that is normal for me or not?) but now all my 'symptoms' feel much more like af. At least this should mean that my cycle is on the shorter side this month-but i think it will still rule me out of a june baby completely

Feel very depressed indeed. Think i need to avoid thinking about it completely next month-as normally i'm quite laid back and this ttc business is really starting to stress me out that woul'd mean not even coming anywhere near mn though as i couldn't trust myself just having a sneaky peek

Think i might buy a huge bar of chocolate for day 1 of AF and then try and be as positive as i can....

Twoplease-i know the feeling-i have 2 particulary nosey friends who make it their business to ask every time they see me-it makes me and all at the same time. Maybe i should avoid them this month as well!!!

dinkyboysmum · 16/09/2008 21:16

well, think it's about cd12 for me toady. nothing on the opk yet. got a letetr thru from gp saying i needed smear test . i've booked one in for friday (cd15), will this be OK? honest advice please. am looking for an excuse NOT to go...but knwo i should really. i think it'll be ok on cd15 as i wont have O'd by then. i'm 26 & last one was 3 years ago.

MintChocAddict · 16/09/2008 22:26

Hi All,

Loads of posts since I was last here. Big hello to new posters.
Sorry to all who've been caught by AF or had m/c.
Not much happening here. Not sure when I'll O'v but definitely looking out for EWCM for the first time.
Always and when hearing about nosey friends/family/colleagues. Mind your own bleedin' business I reckon. Have lost count of the number of randoms asking when I'll be providing DS with a sibling!! Nosey, nosey, nosey people. (Can you tell that this really annoys me??)

Positive fingers tightly crossed for all.

MamaMimi · 16/09/2008 23:01

dinky - smear test shouldn't be a problem whatever is going on up there. Why are you thinking it shouldn't be done?

I had swabs when I was about 6 wks pg and was told that it would not affect anything.

If you're concerned about anything just mention to whoever does the smear what your circumstances/concerns are, they should be able to reassure you.

MrsMcJnr · 16/09/2008 23:38

Hey girls just a quickie from me as I?m shattered.

Minshu ? hello you!! congratulations on your lovely new life hope you get your BFP really soon hon

Waitingtoexhale - think the oats have benefit throughout your cycle. Last time round, I took evening primrose oil, grapefruit juice and B6 until ovulation then flaxseed oil afterwards and the oats and pregnacare throughout!

Welcome VickyJane good luck! Hope you feel better soon.

Littlemissmischief ? LOL at getting bored! Those pains sound like ovulation pains are they very low and dull rather than sharp? Try not to get hung up on the ov tests (what time of day are you testing?) worrying too much can delay ovulation you know! Sore boobs can be a secondary sign of ovulation. I?m tilted too by the way.

Lovelymonster ? hope the bleeding was a false alarm.

DawnAs ? sorry about your MC I got pg exactly 10 weeks after a MC so here?s hoping for you hon.

Twoplease ? be careful with that Agnus Cactus. It?s strong stuff. I really recommend Toni Weshcler?s book ?Taking charge of your fertility? it?s full of info and tips make sure you treat yourself after the smear (I find them v painful too)!

Sammysam ? hope the time passes quickly!!

Mamamimi ? sounds like you might be one of those ladies who actually feels the egg being released!!

LOL Jools1 ? good luck!!

Yellowflowers ? you can get EWCM returning before AF and after ovulation, it?s not a sign of returning fertility though. EWCM normally appears just before ovulation not after but a week on suggests to me that it isn?t ovulation related (if it was ovulation last week). My temp dips just before ovulation but you wouldn?t expect to see it rising above the line before ovulation.

Sans04 ? sorry hon

Wzmo ? yup, I did, creating the mucous plug I guess. My situation is very similar to ours, I am on cd525 or something because I haven?t had an AF since the cycle my DS was conceived in April 2007.

Hello to all those I haven?t greeted personally!!

twoplease · 16/09/2008 23:54

Thanks Mrs Mcjnr - I won't take anything til I've done a bit of research - gonna give it a couple more months before I really worry anyway!

i have been told i have a tilted womb too - the first nurse I saw at uni had a good feel/look when doing a smear - when i mentioned this to the midwife when I was expecting DD, she completely dismissed it - then ended up having an emergency cs after 30 hours of labour basically because there was no way on the world dd was getting out! - i am really trying not to think about smear on friday!!! its wierd its so common isn't it.....

apologies for the double post earlier too - was in a hurry!!

wzmo · 17/09/2008 02:37

so twoplease i have a tilted womb also, and they kept telling me that it would not change anything about labor, but i also had 36 hours of labor before am emergency C-section, so do you think that is why? with your next are you having another Csection?

wzmo · 17/09/2008 02:39

Mrsmcjnr WOW i am impressed with how much info you have and your amazing memory of what people write!!!!!

lillypie · 17/09/2008 11:20

No sign of AF yet,due to test today but too chicken-don't want to be disappointed.

Already eaten half a box of chocolates

yellowflowers · 17/09/2008 12:48

thanks mrsmcjnr - I am pretty certain not pregnant. No signs at all except mildly sore boobs which seems to be my number 1 period sign. almost a relief - what I hate is having symptoms then getting period.

littlemissmischief · 17/09/2008 13:06

Hi all

MrsMcJnr - yes they are dull and my boobs are really sore so hopefully they are Ov pains but ive worked out there is probably no point in testing until about the 12th October if I havent had AF - How long is that!!!! Ive been testing about 3pm each day, im not getting too hung up just wanted to get a positive so I knew what i was doing.

Wzmo - Vent away hun, My DS is nearly 2 and wanted him to be about a year and a half old when I got pg again so just thought it would happen straight away again but have been trying about 6 months now also, Its especially hard because we havent told anyone and people talk about being pg or always asking you when the next one will be like you can click your fingers and be pg it makes me so , Atleat we have lovely DC1's to take our minds of it

Lillypie - you have willpower of steel! I know what you mean though you dont want to burst the bubble, but all the signs are good so fingers doubly crossed for you!

Hope everyone else is having a good day too x

wzmo · 17/09/2008 16:53

littlemissmischief we also have not said anything to anyone so we always get the same ?'s, but yes i agree we are lucky to have our Lo's. Hopefully when the time comes they will be great big sisters/brothers! now that i am getting AF again i always feel like i am having preggo signs i thnk since i forgot what it was like to have Af symptoms. well it is due to come this 28th sooo we will see!

Waiting2Exhale · 17/09/2008 19:42

Hi guys...sorry havn't been on for a while....feeling less and less pg as the days go by...apart from a pulling feeling down low there is really nothing I could possibly point to that I could hang a glimmer of hope onto....agggrrr . Can't really say I'm excited about testing now...must be having a down day, this not wanting to test malarky, is soooooo not me .

Hoping the rest of you are having more luck than me.

MrsMcJnr Have started my first course of oats this morning...heres hoping this turns things around for me...ehehhee

littlemissmischief · 17/09/2008 20:32

Wzmo - I know I cant wait for my little Boy to be a big brother only seems like yesterday he was tiny himself, it goes so quickly doesnt it! My AF symptoms vary so much I never know whats going on either!

Waiting2Exhale, sorry your feeling a bit flat hun, when is your period due? You never know there are some people that go no symptoms at all so there is always hope, Good luck with the oats!

1LittlePrincess · 17/09/2008 20:56
