Just tested this morning and it says - pregnant!! I don't believe it for a second I've been trying nearly 4 years and never even been a tiny bit pregnant and only had sex once this month. Help me please, I mean could it be a dodgy batch

Clearblue said they'd had no complaints so far, but that it is only 99% accurate, what's the chance of it being that 1%.

Sorry if i'm not making much sense but i can hardly breath never mind type!!

I've just done another test and its still BFP, lighter than the other one though but i guess that makes sense as it's not first morning pee.

I'm a little worried though that the clear blue test says 1-2 weeks pregnant and that the other tests are abit faint, I mean shouldn't they be really dark by now, i must be at least 3 weeks past ovulation

1wish - it takes time for the HcG levels to increase so I wouldn't worry. Also, different tests vary to their sensitivity i.e how much HcG they pick up before you get a result so with one test you could get a strong line or another one would be a faint one. I had two bfn than a bfp 4 days past period due date with DS and the line wasn't that strong - he's now asleep in the next room

CONGRATULATIONS - Such lovely lovely news after such a long journey.

Your story has given me hope as found out yesterday that DP has only 1% morphology and was told we probably wouldn't get pregnant naturally

Good luck for a healthy pregnancy - enjoy every minute of it.x

laughalot · 22/08/2008 12:27

1wish, my DH also had "rubbish" sperm, I had defective fallopian tubes as well. I had DD1 through IVF but then 9 years (and 5 years after having DD1) after starting to try for a baby, I fell pregnant naturally with DD2 and again with DC3 - so like you, miracles do happen!

I really now how magical it is to see that positive result. Enjoy your weekend with your DH and hope you have a wonderful pregnancy.

By the way, it's very common to have period like crampy pains for about a week before period is due. That happened to me a few years ago & then I tested & was pregnant.Enjoy!
