Please help me.Had anyone had a false positive with those clearblue trial pregnancy tests??

Just tested this morning and it says - pregnant!! I don't believe it for a second I've been trying nearly 4 years and never even been a tiny bit pregnant and only had sex once this month. Help me please, I mean could it be a dodgy batch

Clearblue said they'd had no complaints so far, but that it is only 99% accurate, what's the chance of it being that 1%.

Sorry if i'm not making much sense but i can hardly breath never mind type!!

youve bought a tear to my eye too - I really hope it works out for you. I also found out I was pg the week before I was going to start fertility treatment - it's quite common apparently as you kind of give up on it happenning naturally as you know the next step is coming so you don't stress about it and hey presto!

I'm actually crying now - go and buy more tests!!! (I did 13!)

Thanks so much everyone. I never thought I'd have one of these threads. Dp is at work and i'm walking round in a daze clutching my pregnancy tests The neighbours must think i'm a loon.

As I said we only had sex once this month, on our anniversary just after dp had proposed. It's like something out of a romantic novel

Yeah i rang him and he didn't believe me. Well i didn't believe it either because it was on one of those new clearblue trial tests i thought maybe there defective or something.

I've just sent him a picture of the 2nd test, he's over the moon but cautious also. As i say we are due to start IVF and dp was told his sperm were rubbish, I think were both in a state of shock.

This happened to our friends. They had been trying for 3 years. They were just about to embark on IVF (due to hubby poor sperm) and my friend got pregnant the month before. They now have two daughters.

Just so people who don't know me know. Dp sperm morphology was very low (1%) and I don't ovulate. I was prescribed a years worth of clomid which i finished taking in March. Since then I gave up on trying as it was too painful.( I started to suffer very deep depression) I have been keeping away from the ttc threads for a while now because I just couldn't see the point.

I still can't believe this, it was only the other day I was posting on the "you know you've been ttc too long when..." thread I just looked at my post about trying all the anecdotal things people tell you will get you pregnant, and the last three are true

Although I still don't believe its true, I just want to say that there is hope for all of you who feel you have been trying a lifetime. I genuinley thought it would never happen to me.
