Hi ladies,

bubble DPO - Days past ovulation. I know what you mean about having the idea that you haven't done it right, i feel this too. mind you i have been so focused on my other 'symptoms' that i generally feel like it's unlikely for me, no evidence to back this up by the way!!

I had lots of cramps again this morning and last night, and more back ache (but then was lifting heavy sacks of pet food on friday tut tut)

And dare i say it ... my boobs feel different .. oh god!!! i almost don't want symptoms now if that makes sense, as i hate the disappointment that comes on the AF arrival day.

nelix you make me chuckle, first there was not enough, now there's too much, never satisfied huh! tee hee, only kidding, maybe it is a sign for something? not sure why though, like jools said, you do have lots of changes 'down there' when PG so might be linked?

I have decided to take your advice and go inbetween my possible AF dates, according to my previous 3 cycles (which should be the same this month huh??) i should have spotting tomorrow and full AF on wednesday. but according to how i used to be, my AF should be due next Tuesday (16th Sept) so i think i shall do in on Friday if nothing, then i'll be either a few days late or a few days early. I am working for the next 3 days so waiting till friday when i have my next day off will be ok.

Mind you if AF doesn't come tomorow or wed i will be secretly bursting to test!!!!

Heebychick · 08/09/2008 12:48

I've just realised that if i'm back to a 32 day cycle then we missed the boat entirely this week, tues to thurs would of been a good time in this case and we didn't BD at all at that time! oh dear. lets hope i'm still on that 26 day cycle eh!

Hey Heeby I'm testing Friday morning too!! I booked the day off so no panic if i am of having to come to work and keep quiet. If im not then i don't have to go to work and try and be happy! lol

I'm so nervous though, it's weird. I've had mild cramps today again and am convinced it's AF! although no signs at all of AF. There is nothing with my boobs though which is making me wonder if im not anyway coz everyone else seems to have this as a main symptom!!

DH is desperate for me to test and hs asked me to do it tomorrow. I'm tempted but know it could be too early. I'm so nervous that it may be negative that i dont want to test at all!

wannabe hurrah! we can hold hands (whilst holding the pee stick with the other!) doing it. eeek! My DH doesn't want to know at all (in a good way tho) i think he's a little fed up of hearing about all the ailments i've been having lately!

My boob thing is certainly not a main symptom, i've hardly noticed it at all, it's the tummy cramps mainly that have made me wonder. But it could be AF on her way. What are yours like today?

Good luck for friday and the no show of AF prior to that!

I have to say i'm doubtful this month but will keep fingers crossed anyway .... it's not over till the AF lady sings!

xx

SparkyMalarky · 08/09/2008 18:12

OMG - so next tests are on Friday? How exciting...

How is everyone?

Jools1 · 08/09/2008 18:17

Exciting stuff - countdown to Friday

I've got to wait till next Friday - not sure how I can make that time go without driving myself insane !

Probably haven't got internet access tonight as I'm away on business again in my favourite Welsh hotel - depends what room they put me in whether I can pick up a wireless connection. So, thought I'd say hello and goodnight now

I am still ridiculously hormonally emotional - nothing else to report really

WanabeMum · 08/09/2008 18:20

Hey again,

I'm good, a little nervous. Heeby my cramps are still happening and making me a bit queezy at times although not sure if that's coz i've worked myself up!

II'm worried it may be AF on her way too, although i agree it's not over till its here!
I've got to test about 8am Friday as DH has to go to college (no not married to a teenager, he's doing an apprenticeship ) so he wants to be there obviously.

I keep moaning that my symptoms are AF and he keeps saying they're PG, bit of a battle! Although one of us will be right. Don't say this very often, but hope im saying "you were right dear" on Friday

Good luck Heeby
How you feeling Sparky?

WanabeMum · 08/09/2008 18:23

Me again!
Don't know what to advise Jools as these last 2 weeks have dragged for me! (probably not what you want to hear)but maybe if you're busy in work? Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

SparkyMalarky · 08/09/2008 18:26

Actually feeling fine Wanabe so much so that I'm not sure it's real! Haven't called the GP or anything - was so organised last time (had told my boss, told lots of friends etc) that actually think it's quite good for me to take each day as it comes..Will have to call the GP soon tho I suppose..

Am so excited for all of u...there seems to be lots of symptom spotting!!

funtimewincies · 08/09/2008 19:43

Blimey, it's been busy today. Nelix - lol at the commitment to EWCM duty!

Also might give in and test on Friday . If this is a usual left-hand cycle it should be 28 days, meaning that AF is due Thursday. If it's a longer 30 day then AF would be due Saturday so Friday seems a good compromise.

Can't believe that it's crept up on me so quickly this month.

Mylittlebubble · 08/09/2008 19:59

Heeby, Wannabe and Heeby - Looks like Friday is the day then
I was going to test tomorrow as it is our wedding anniversery but I am convinced it might be too early, so I'll wait to Friday and we can do a group test x

Mylittlebubble · 08/09/2008 20:02

Sorry I meant Heeby , wannabe and Funtime

Heebychick · 08/09/2008 20:15

Yes wait and we'll be doing it all together!

Gosh i really hope we all make it to Friday now and don't get stopped by nasty AF beforehand.

How exciting .... and quite scary, there's something comforting about being this side of AF isn't there, the not knowing is still a chance!

sparky i'm so glad you are relaxed (kind of) about being PG, i hope i can take a leaf out of your book and not tell many people and just take each day as it comes, i will try and do what you are doing and take it easy and like you say, take each day as it comes.

jools not sure how to relax, but it's like having a late holiday ... everyone else has been and gone and then you can take all the glory!!

BeckyMcG · 09/09/2008 08:49

Good luck on Friday everyone!!!!

I will be waiting with bated breath to check the thread. Remember though ladies ? it?s not the end of the world to wait another month (just trying to look on bright side as I know what I'll be like!) I am still testing next Wednesday and then am off to Spain with my 2 best girlfriends for 5 days so will either be excited (but so cautious after last time) or will be able to drown sorrows and wait for AF. Have no symptoms and feel nothing unusual ? apart from aching lots due to new fitness class???have decided if I?m not pregnant then it would be good to be fit ? lol.

Heebychick · 09/09/2008 09:02

I feel the same as you becky i am swimming and running lots and trying to get fitter, because if i'm not PG soon i'll have no excuse for my growing waistline!

Feel ok this morning, trying not to think about it. Have some tummy cramps still and lower back pain (but have had that for ages now) and my boobs were a bit sore last nite again but nothing else to report.

Hope you all have a good day x

makingafamily · 09/09/2008 09:20

AF due on sunday but i might have to join you ladies and test on Friday

makingafamily · 09/09/2008 09:20

AF due on sunday but i might have to join you ladies and test on Friday

Jools1 · 09/09/2008 09:37

Hopefully I'll be raising a virtual glass of bolly to some of you on Friday then :D

Just don't let me get carried away with this pee-on-a-stick fest as I wanna join in too and it is too early

funtimewincies · 09/09/2008 09:46

Lol pee-on-a-stick fest. Maybe if we get enough people there might be a record we could break .

Bubble - I like the sound of Heeby, Wannabe and Funtime (a firm of solicitors perhaps?)

I'm convinced today that I'm not pg and dh says that he wouldn't put any money on it, but I'll still be joining in the mass test if no AF by then. The Clearblue survey is supposed to be returned by the end of October, so I might as well use it .

And it's raining...and my Christmas potatoes have blight .

Heebychick · 09/09/2008 10:44

Oh no poor potatoes! you're having a yuk day all round honey aren't you... ((())) big hug for you!!

If it helps i am having a yuk day too, i've only been at work for 2 hours and already i can 'feel' the office politics starting ... grrr!

On an exciting note, my DD does sign language and this morning when i was brushing her teeth she stopped me, did the 'pain' sign and said 'hurt mummy' .... how sweet is that! (not sweet that she has teething pain tho obviously poor little mite!)

I am feeling sicky today, although i am sure it's all in my mind, i am feros ... firosio .... ferosiousl .... FEROCIOUSLY knicker checking today ... nightmare hey!

Heeby, Wannabe and Funtime Peestick Detectors!

funtimewincies · 09/09/2008 11:03

Well done to your DD ! Sorry that you're having a yuk day too ((())).

We also did signing and, although DS just didn't bother making many signs, I'm convinced that it'd helped the clarity of his speech. His first words were ones that we signed and his speech is very clear (not advanced though, not that much of a boastful mummy ). He used to point to his teeth when they hurt.

Thinking back, he used the pain one for a little while as we went a bit overboard telling him that the raditors hurt when they were hot. We've got a couple that can't easily be controlled as they've no valve.

Lol knickerchecking! We're all going to develop cystitis if we're going to the loo so often to check our underwear and EWCM .

Heebychick · 09/09/2008 11:17

Ha ha yes we are! I am trying so hard not to think about it, my boss is back tomorrow after being away for 6 weeks so i am trying to catch up on all those 'oh i'll do that whilst he's away' things now! so hopefully that'll take my mind off it. The last 3 months have been totally spot on CD26 so will get slightly excited if no AF tomorrow!

re signing - yes DD did the same, her first words were 'more, eat, drink, hot, car, doggy and daddy and mummy of course' and these were all the first signs! She says 'more' all the time now as she loves bossing us around!

How old is your DS now?

Off to the loo again!
