Hi nelix, just got back from a weekend away and logged in to check progress. Sorry to hear that this isn't the month.

I'm CD3 today and would love to join you (pulls up a comfy cushion passes a large G&T to nelix and littlemissdaisy ).

Heebychick · 17/08/2008 19:43

Hi guys ... i'm sorry to have abandoned you. I needed some time to get over my awful month.

So today is CD1 for me, finally AF cameh and although i am still under a dr for strange symptoms and pains i am treating this as a normal month but with short cycles (26 days).

How is everyone feeling? nelix Hi and i'm sorry last month wasn't yours, you such a great support to me i was hoping for good news for you.

nelix2000 · 18/08/2008 08:37

Welcome funtime.....hey heeby sooooooo glad your ok and back with us!....I just figure I wasnt meant to get pregnant last cycle...it will happen when it happens....I am only 28...the only problem I have is access to sperm. My donor can only donate once per cycle so that cuts our chances if we dont get it just right. So I am gonna try this grapefruit juice method to increase my FM.....since I had my son my EWCM does not appear to often....literally away to the shops now to get a load of the horrid stuff!!! Its nice to share my journey with you all and vice versa!

OP posts:
Heebychick · 18/08/2008 09:02

Hi all, nelix that is pressure then! (Heeby is being very nieve now!) i always wondered how it worked with donors, it must an emotional journey for you all. Are you having regular cycles though to help you pin point the right time? Was it difficult with your son? sorry for all the questions!

My DH and i decided to 'stop' trying or really stop not trying if that makes sense, i really rely on the summer for my work so i didn;t want to be having a baby in the middle summer months but then if we stop totally we'll have to wait until around Feb - March which won't be great! that's a long way away. So we have just relaxed the rules and will try not to think about it.

Last month was really difficult for us, and i still have all the symptoms (nausea, tiredness, sore (.)(.) and i have a constant pain in my right side which is worrying me a little) so goodness knows what will happen but it feels good to relax about it.

nelix2000 · 18/08/2008 10:05

so glad you have relaxed heeby I have too. I was under the dillusion it would work first time. Cycles are regular between 31-34 days no longer. OPKS are no use for me...they just dont work. My son, I had a gush of EWCM hopped on a train got the stuff, came home and bing badda boom a baby!
But only because my FM was right, but it seems to have started hiding since I had my DS, so am going to drink lots and lots of fluid to increase it.

I am really glad you are seeing light at the end of the tunnel....it can be a tought time indeed. Has the doc said anything about what is going on with you?keep going back till you get asnwers....or see a diff doctor...(hug)

OP posts:
nelix2000 · 19/08/2008 12:34

considering I am on cd3...my period has not really made a show!!!...or barely a show..i normally have one really light day then woosh.....but this day 3 and not much tbh very odd indeed...so little it does not even warrant a tampon! tmi!!!! lol

Hows everyone else??

OP posts:
Heebychick · 19/08/2008 13:28

I was the same last month, it was so little i thought it was implantation for a while, it's heavier this month tho. I feel a lot better today, symptoms are less and the pain in my tummy has gone today, so maybe i just needed a good period!?? if you can call it that.

Wow you must have timed it perfectly with your son then, have you seen 'she's having a baby?' there's a scene where she is on a moped and rushing around (because it's 'that' time) and she has so much EWCM she slides off the seat! tee hee, disgusting but very funny ... i now have that image of you!

Regarding your AF, are you sure it's an AF? could it possibly be something else? What exactly does grapefruit juice do??

funtimewincies · 19/08/2008 14:02

Hi Heeby (ice and lemon in yours? )

Pleased to hear that you're feeling a little more relaxed about the whole thing. I think that I might take a leaf out of your book and if I've not managed to conceive (and hang on to it) by the end of the year, I'm going to stop 'trying' and just accept that ds may or may not have a sibling.

Nelix - saw your other thread about taking the test apart! Naughty girl, slapped wrists all round !

nelix2000 · 19/08/2008 15:33

Hey heeby pretty certain its AF yes....what else can it be?...it was around the right time, to late for implantation bleed I would certainly think...and it feels like it you know?...i read on here that grapefuit juice can help create more CM there is a thread on it somewhere...and apart from it being horrid it cant hurt! LOL never seen the movie!

Hey funtime lol I could not resist taking the test apart! but apparently two lines on the stick dont mean a positive necasserily as they work in different wayS!! this cycle it will be a good old fashioned non digital one AND i will wait a full two weeks after insem!!! I will be good!!!

Hello ladies....I'm a little bit ahead (CD12 - DH on standby at all times ;)) but wanted to stop in and say hi!

Heeby Hurrah!! It's so nice to see you back

funtime Can I have a g 'n' g (gin and grapefruit juice?) - does that count?

Nelix you are naughty pulling the test apart (loved that story!)

I'm obsessing about OPKs at the moment (clearly trying to stay v relaxed - am having to hide them in the bathroom!!) - just read today you shouldn't use them first thing in the morning. B*gger.

Good luck all - keep me posted (I've a feeling some of us will be luckier this month!!)

Heebychick · 19/08/2008 20:31

Good evening ladies,

sparky lovely to hear from you too, i feel a bit silly for getting so worked up but hey new month new me! Good luck with the next few days then, get those feet on the wall afterwards!

funtime i agree with you, i think you almost have to have a limit to then aim towards, not strictly but a guideline at least. And yes i'll have ice and lemon please - i like this part of not being pregnant i have to say!

nelix i took a test apart too, don't we sound like nutters! i here by promise to be patient, relaxed and calm about this whole baby making process ... yeah right!

makingafamily · 19/08/2008 21:10

Heebychick · 19/08/2008 21:30

Hey good luck then!!! is this your first baby?

AbstractMouse · 19/08/2008 21:36

Hi all I'm on cd whatever, hope you don't mind me joining. Had a m/c last month and not sure when af will arrive (hopefully on time) I have also deconstructed tests lol if that helps.

Heebychick · 19/08/2008 21:41

Hi abstract i remember you from the last thread, i'm really sorry about your m/c. i had one in May/June so understand totally. if it helps i feel like i have really gotten back on track now and am ready to start again.

do you think we should make this an exclusive, 'only allowed to join if you've deconstructed tests' thread?!

Ilovebeingamummy · 19/08/2008 21:43
