GYo - He's 1o months , small for age though so looks more like 6/7 months, very cute

Diege · 28/08/2008 09:55

Dal your ds is gorgeous! Love the piccy of him in his PJs waving his toy around

Dalrymps · 28/08/2008 10:02

Thanks

GYo · 28/08/2008 10:11

hi

Dals- 10mths is great age, and pics are very cute , no wonder you want more!

Diege- try not to worry re late EWCM, all this timing and waiting might delay things anyway... a few people have reported cycles doing weird things when tracking them etc... I think there is a huge mind body connection in these things.... I'd keep enjoying the GOFing! So when the egg does come out the little swimmers will be ready and waiting

Thanks for paracetamol advice... might be resorting to some soon...

Enjoy your day at the country park! sounds fun...

Morning all,

Cal - Everything is crossed that you will have a successful scan today. Either way at least you wil get an answer.

Cosmo - sorry you're having such a rough time, I have been thinking about you.

Despite my bathroom incident (oh and having to pull the car over this morning to be sick on the verge) it is actually much better! I'm not being sick everyday and have lost the constant nausea. Its weird, I just seem to occassionally get a very violent urge to be sick, no real notice, just comes on very suddenly. Its a pain in the sense that I have no notice but I feel better straight away afterwards and there is no lingering nausea, so actually that it a huge improvement.

I will also join the "wonderful DH's appreciation society". Mine has always been a real sweetie but is trying so hard at the moment, I really couldn't have any more support. The daft git also now has the scan picture on his desk, tucked into the pic of me, what a soppy sentimental fool! Tis kinda sweet though

How is everyone doing this morning? Where is everyone in their cycles? Seem to have lost track. Anyone at the business end yet?

clairey80 · 28/08/2008 10:46

mind if i join in this thread?

I'm on CD 7 so reckon its time to start trying like mad now, what u reckon??!!

Playingthe9monthwait · 28/08/2008 10:50

Welcome Claire, I'd def say its time to be going for it!

The wagon is a great place to be, it initially started in Jan as a waiting ttc thread but over the months people have started ttcing and got pg but not left! So we are a bunch at all different stages. Only one rule to the wagon, no info is TMI. Oh and we don't BD we GOF!

GYo · 28/08/2008 10:55

Welcome Claire!
As playing said this is a great thread... (though we are just about to run out of space so watch out for a new one very soon!)

Is this your first DC? CD 7 sounds like a great time to start the GOFing!

Welcome!

clairey80 · 28/08/2008 10:58

thanks for the welcome!! yeah first DC!! 2nd month TTC so still pretty new to all this therefore any tips greatly appreciated!!!

ps. GOFing?????!!!

GYo · 28/08/2008 11:04

GOF- good old f*cking We prefer that here to BD= baby dancing...

Have you checked out the acronyms list here on mumsnet.

We have a list of people somewhere that I will paste for you.

Its divided into 3 parts; top part are the TTC graduates.. ie those who are duffed with what number DC it is and their estimated due date. The second section are those currently TTC, the number DC and any other info like age or where they live. The third section is the list of people waiting to TTC.

Good luck....but do ask Qs if you like..

Oh one last thing, anything goes here- this thread often discusses a lot more than conception, TTC and pregnancy.... we are known for quite random discussions. It also can move quite fast. Welcome aboard.

I really should rest or my head will never improve but MN is addictable !!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 28/08/2008 11:10

just wanted to pop in quick and let you all know i dont think i'll be around much over the next week or so... sickness is getting really really bad, was up all night... being sick every 10mins if having water in-between and every 30mins or so if having nothing!! got a docs app tomorrow so hopefully i'll get prescribed some suppositories to ease it before i get so ill i'm hospitalised... i can barely walk today, not kept a thing down since porridge yesterday morning!!

Dalrymps · 28/08/2008 13:42

Oh glask, have you thought it could be something else, i suddenly went like this early on with ds and it turned out i had gastroentiritis (sp?), a bug basically, just a thought, of course it could be very severe ms, hope the doc can sort it x

calsworld · 28/08/2008 13:55

Hi all, I'm finally home after a long night. The pregnancy is over and fortunately for me, no D&C required. Its been a difficult couple of days with all the uncertainty, for now I'm glad I know where I stand.

Can someone quietly adjust the list and stick me down as waiting to TTC - a status I've not really had before, so kind of novel .

Thanks so much for all your support, I really wouldn't have held it together so well without you. x

Playingthe9monthwait · 28/08/2008 14:05

Hi Cal, no problem at all.

I am so sorry for you, we have been thinkign about you all day. We have started a new thread as this one is virtually full so I will copy your post to the new one as well.

You take care of yourself, take as logn away as you need and we will be here waiting for you when you need us. xxx

Dalrymps · 28/08/2008 14:06

Cal - Glad you're back and no further action is required. At least now you can rest without wondering what is happening. I'm so sad to hear your news and hope you can get through this time with the help from your dh, he seems very supportive. I'm really sorry this had to happen to you .

I know we don' usually but here's a ((((((big hug)))))) thinking of you x

I'll let one of the more experienced ladies adjust the list for you.

Nice to have another person join me in the very small 'waiting to ttc' bit. Sorry if that sounded insensitive, just trying to find a positive... oh i'll shut up now.
