Evening ladies....

NJ what great news... Really pleased for you.

Diege thank you so much the vits arrived today, really helpful thanks

Everyone TMI alert.

I am now 13.3 weeks pg. And still getting a lot of yellowy discharge. Sometimes it is so bad that I think I have started bleeding. Do you think I need to go to GP? I don?t remember having this with DD and certainly don?t normally have it..

So ladies I only just caught up on yesterdays chat and diege you seem to be the predictor of sexes so what am I having??? DD hb was 140 this one is 156... The baby seemed alot longer, thiner but with longer arms and legs than dd. Am I having a boy... Oh no what do I do with a boy??? I have 5 nieces and one daughter, I have no experience of boy things....

Diege · 21/08/2008 17:34

Em good luck for driving test!!
Lardy, the discharge you describe is totally normal - I had it throughout with dds, esp dd2 for some reason - needed a panty liner. The only thing it could be if not normal is thrush, but I think you'd have other symptoms Oh and glad the vits arrived - good old Royal Mail .
Oh and I predict another girl for you .
Well have just worked out that dh will be away during my ovulation times next week . Can just fit in a quicky on day 13 probably, but my cycle is about 29/30 days, so will have a very slim chance this month. In a way feel strangely relieved nutrition guide suggests 3 months on the diet anyway, but still...

lardybump · 21/08/2008 17:38

I must admit I dont mind a boy or a girl really, I wont be finding out so I will let you know if you are right in February.

Oh diege that is so annoying. I am for you. How long is he away for? Could he be back in time if you ov late?

Diege · 21/08/2008 17:46

I know LB, the more I think about it the more I am. Just worked out the possible 'quicky' will be morning of day 12, so even worse. He's taking the older girls for a few days away with friends and their LOs, so not the sort of thing he can really alter (nor would I want him too). More annoying than anything! Will have a chat with him tonight and see if there's anyway round things but other than helicopter it's doubtful. Bum!

lardybump · 21/08/2008 17:51

So so sorry for you diege, I hope that you OV either late or early this month....... Or it snows so you are trapped and dh can not go anywhere

Diege · 21/08/2008 18:08

Snow would be good

lardybump · 21/08/2008 18:16

would be fun for the girls as well so kills all birds with the same stone

Diege · 21/08/2008 18:18

Doing a snow dance for most of it....

I will be working all day Saturday but that is as far as I have got. Sleep is going to feature quiet heavily but the rest is down to chance!!!!

Diege · 22/08/2008 07:43

Morning!! Wake up everyone, rise and shine!!! I've put the wagon porridge pot on low to give you all time
dh in Gloucester for work, dds lined up watching rugrats movie (I have them well trained) . Have all 3 at home today so will have to get out and about. It's sunny here, but no guarantee here - may try the park and take a towel for the slide!

Well Lardy's snow dance (sort of) worked . Dh will be going later and coming back later on his trip with dds - leaving Sat (cd 14) back Tues (cd17). So should be in with a fighting chance, unless ov late in which case at least I've given it my best shot! Sure it will take a few months, but felt really sad thinking I'd be missing out on my first month - think it's helped me to have something 'real' that I can actually focus on and do.
Right, enough self-analysis . Time for porridge!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 22/08/2008 08:12

morning diege!!

SesQal · 22/08/2008 08:13

Oooh, Porridge sounds good Diege
Glad your've managed to get your DH's trip slightly rescheduled. IKWYM about not wanting to miss out! Fingers crossed for you

Don't think I posted at all yesterday, which I think must be a first in weeks for me! Another all day meeting and then round to a friend for dinner and home just in time to catch DH as he got home late but in time for a GOF! Really feel like we've done all we could have done this month now so just left to hope now!

Em - good luck for your driving test!

SesQal · 22/08/2008 08:16

Morning Glaskham! at your sickness. I think normally it's a small amount of food little and often can help but from the sounds of things, not sure if you're going to keep anything down. What have you tried for breakfast? Worst case scenario, please make sure you're having your water...

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 22/08/2008 08:23

I've not eaten a thing yet, i was gagging at the smell of the kids cereals (yeah i know- cereals dont really smell!!) and ended up being sick in the kitchen sink... then was sat waiting for the pc to turn on and just started gagging at nothing!! So all i've had since 7am is 2 glasses of water!! i feel poo!!!!

SesQal · 22/08/2008 08:26

Wish I could do something to make you feel better...
Have you any dry biscuits in the house? I know a friend of mine said she used to keep a pack beside her bed and as long as she had one before she got out of bed each morning, she could get by.
Good news about the freecycle baby clothes though. What were you meant to have planned for today?

GYo · 22/08/2008 08:32

Morning all

Love the idea of a wagon pot of porridge!
Great news about all those clothes Glask, hope you can eat some toast soon too....

Hi to ses, diege and em.

I've got today and tuesday off so Im very excited about having an extra long weekend

DH's bday today so im going to get some balloons and make him a cake.

Oh to be a full time lady of leisure!!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 22/08/2008 08:34

aww, thanks ses- i'll cope with the sickness, i cant have it any worse than i did with DS!!

The freecycle stuff is fab!!

My plans for today were to go and put the cheque in the bank to cover the cost of my mums party!! then to take DH's books back to the library... but its raining so i can give it a miss anyway!! could do with some more milk but sure DH wouldn't mind popping to the shop for it... or i may just have half a slice of toast and risk it!!

tinkcantwaittofindoutboyorgirl · 22/08/2008 08:37

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 22/08/2008 08:40

ooh i think i may have found a way round it!! my sister and mum wanted to take one or both the kids out today as they are visiting family... i'm gonna say if they can take DH's books back for me then they can take them out for the day!!

then i get some rest!!

Diege · 22/08/2008 08:40

Thanks SES, and good luck to you! I think it's right to say that as long as you've done all you can, then at least you can approach 2ww with a clear conscience!
Aww Glask, know exactly what you're going through. I could never understand the advice to eat to stop yourself feeling sick, as couldn't stomach anything other than a few nibbles of rich teas. Another thing I found tolerable was ice cold chunks of honey dew melon. Maybe worth a shot getting some in? Oh and think you're having a girl btw
Good luck with driving test EM - I feel nervous just thinking about doing one. I don't drive, never really having a great need/desire (I've had tons of lessons just never had my heart in it)so great respect to you! Is it your first test?

Diege · 22/08/2008 08:41

Hi Tinks - your day sounds good too - very productive! I also said dd3 would be my lasy one - gave everything away etc, so never say never
