The more I think about it the more I think this cycle will be out for me. DH away and then I'm away at the wkend visiting a friend so slim chance of more GOFing. I know that sounds v defeatist but I'd rather that than get my hopes up.

i found out with DS1&2 that we were having boys and would def find out what were having the next time or IF we get PG!

Afternoon everyone else... i've just tried to nap on the couch while dd was in her buggy asleep (the spare one) and ds was led with me watching 'Arthur and the invisibles'..... didn't properly nod off but got some peace and quiet for a change.

I also ordered a couple of baby hats off jo jo maman bebe earlier.... they were reduced to 50p and £1 in the sale so got a handful, and its free p&p, i'll use a couple myself and put a couple in the nappy cake i'm making for my sister's baby!!

Thanks everyone I am so relieved it is a boy, would never have said so before finding out but it would have scared me to death having a girl LOL Had an extra long scan as there was a student doing it, so she did it first then the proper sonographer did it again just to doubly check the students findings I didn't text anyone because I was home so quickly, didn't seem much point!

I have just got back from town, well about 1/2 hour ago, we got so much stuff Think DS1 is going to be as shopaholic as me Taught him well methinks

Had a good afternoon out with girls, though spent a small fortune in Bear Factory (which I'd come up with that concept - would have been a millionaire by now!).
Your vits were sent off today LB first class, so should be with you before BH fingers crossed .
Hoping Gruff is OK - don't think there can be much time for mumsnetting when nannying. Can you imagine if employers' came back and caught you at it??!!

about 97% of me really wants to have a boy as have already got a girl and this is our last one so want to experience both genders.
the other 3% is abit scared as i am so used to a girl what you do with a boy

i felt a tad like that tink when wanting dd to be a girl... however much i wanted one of each ideally (as i thought dd was my last) i was a tad scared- but they are both fab!! both have different personalities, but get on fab!!

Thanks for all your messages!

Have had no more bleeding but woke up with really bad cramps so I was very worried and in tears! I phoned my mum first who said to go to docs and take day off - in my heart I knew I couldn't go to work I was so worried. I phoned my employer and told him and he was very understasnding - his wife then text me later to see if I needed anything and that she was there if I needed her. That was nice.

I went to docs and she took urine sample and said that brown blood and so little of it probably isn't anything to worry about and she was more concerned about pain so she has sent off sample to be tested as there was protein found in urine so just need to wait as it might be infection and see if I bleed anymore (which so far there hasn't been) So its just a metter of keeping my fingers crossed and waiting. She said if anymore bleeding then I would be sent for early scan.

I'm sorry I didn't post early but I have slept ALL DAY

Of course I am still concerned but there is nothing I can do and just have to wait and see what happens.

Tink I think I had the same sort of percentages in my head, there is, and always will be, a part of me that wanted a girl, probably with me having 4 sisters! But at the same time I would be so scared ofhaving a girl! DH and I were watching Eastenders last night, and saying about that Lucy character, I told DH I'd lock any daughter of mine up till she's 21 LOL It is the unknown though, people with all girls will say the same about boys, and those with both sexes just get on with it!

And I will admit it, it would have been lovely to buy pink, but will just have to wait for my grand daughter to come along now
