Thanks Cals . My durr brain again.. Maybe a good omen for you too!
Myh nursery are a bit heavy on the old tv too, although they psuhed it a bit I think when they showed the 3 year olds a pirate copy of Kung Foo Panda a few months back. It's a PG and my friend's little boy was seriously upset by violence in it. She's since taken him out which is a shame as it's a great nursery. I was a bit that they were so proud about the pirate copy and didn;t think to get some sort of consent first!
Right, I am also spraying the polish and shifting the toys around a little as dds and dh due back any minute.

Wow this place is busy in the mornings! Think this may take a while, i've only just worked out facebook!

Glask- If you buy the spray from the vet then it gets rid of the smell and makes them not want to pee in the same spot. There is also an amazing flap that works on the microchip in your cat. (so only lets yours in!) Expensive though!

I can't remember who it was that mentioned getting it in every other day, but when mines at work im lucky for once a week. Moral of the story. Go out with a younger man.

calsworld · 19/08/2008 18:11

Oooh diege - wasn't nursery showing him tv it was me! He doesn't watch telly at nursery - he's far too busy! He's going to hate being at home with me on maternity leave!

SesQal · 19/08/2008 18:54

Evening everyone - it's been really busy on here today!!! I've only just caught up!

Can I have an offload???

First of all, someone at work asked me today if I had any children and if I was planning any and I just felt the tears come. They weren't to know about mc(s) and I thought I'd got over being tearful. Maybe I just wasn't expecting it....
Second, I'm feeling really hormonal today (which probably didn't help the above!) Does anyone else feel like their hormones are all over the place at ovulation? I think I'm feeling frustrated that everything's out of my control for this month now and on the one hand (the bigger one!) I'm pinning all my hopes on being pg this cycle but on the other, it really hit me again today that if I am pg, I'm just going to be so paranoid that the stress probably wouldn't do the baby any good!!!
AAAaaaaggggghhh! Am I going mad??
I can really relate to what Diege said about due dates. My first (only?? Still odnn't know if there was a second!!)would have been due 24th October so it doesn't give me much time.....

Sorry that's all so me, me, me. I'll do another post now that's more normal.... Just needed to offload....

SesQal · 19/08/2008 19:00

Right, normal Ses service resumes....

NJ - how many hours til scan now??!! 14.5hrs??!

LB - Really pleased about your results - sounded v v good

Cal - I realise I didn't answer your offer yesterday re tally chart for symptoms. I've been using one on Fertility Friend (don't know if you know it?) If you think yours is better, then let me know and I'll give you my email address for it!

Glaskham - Can't believe your bad luck with the cat. Hope you find a way of rescuingthe buggy...

Don't know if anyone else is still out there but hope everyone's having a good evening!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 19/08/2008 19:08

I am here, DH is on a late, I've cleared up, emptied and filled dishwasher, put load of washing in drier, done the kids tea, and have now run out of things to do, so thought I'd jump back on here for a few minutes

Thanks for all of the messages of support for tomorrow, nerves are well and truly kicking in now, was all the clearing up, gave me time to think about it too much methinks!

Ses, sorry you're having a rough day, I think everyone, for whatever reason/s, has bad days from time to time, but your reasons are enough to get anyone down. Wrinkly bath and chocolate for you tonight T'is the answer to everything, or it is in this house anyway!

GruffaloSoldier · 19/08/2008 19:11

Hi all,

Im afraid I haven't caught up.

Have just been to the toilet and there was some brown blood staining in my knickers. There wasn't any when I wiped. I am so worried now. Should I just wait and see if I have any more or just book docs appointment tomorrow anyway? I don't know if I am overreacting but I just don't know what to do

kookykid · 19/08/2008 19:13

Hey ses,

You know this is the place to offload! So sorry about today - My two best friends are pg (one of whom said they only GOFed once...!) and I live in terror of other people telling me they are too. Terrible but whilst genuinely pleased for them I just want to shout "Not Fair!" and "Why Isn't This Happening For Me??" Can only imagine how it feels after a mc. Also completely understand about the 2ww.... I worked myself up so much this last cycle (having started off so well). Sure I made myself late with all the stressing about it. It's so hard to forget about when it's really all that's on your mind. You have my full sympathy! Faxing over snuggly blanket, comfy cushions, big mug of hot chocolate/glass of wine and DVD of your choice!

NJ So esciting about your scan tomorrow - get back asap and tell us everything - have my fingers crossed that the baby's legs are UNcrossed!

Glask great about your ebay bargains, I never seem to have any luck with that sort of stuff. Sorry about horrible old cat too. I'm dreading it happening to me when we get ours fitted.

LB Fab news about your results - bet that's a weight off your mind, sorry you had to wait over the weekend, but what great odds!

kookykid · 19/08/2008 19:15

Xposts. Sorry Gruff. How many weeks are you? I'm no expert but I think if it is brown it is OK. Call your midwife in the morning just in case and try not to worry.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 19/08/2008 19:17

OK gruff, firstly try not to panic.

How many weeks are you?

You'll know by now brown blood is much better than red, and with the bleed I had at 7 weeks, it was red blood and clotty (sorry) and everything was fine.

Have you had sex in the last few days? The ermmm... exercise can just dislodge some old blood so it comes away - nothing to worry about.

Obviously keep an eye on it, ring MW/GP tomorrow, see what they say and go from there. If you're not happy with what they say then ring the EPU direct, if they are as unhelpful as mine, go straight to A&E, they will sort you out.

Really wish there was something I could do to help you out properly, it is such a worrying time. Just try to remember that (especially brown) bleeding is very common in pregnancy. Is it possible that had you not got pregnant that your period would have been due around now?

GruffaloSoldier · 19/08/2008 19:17

Hey KK

Thanks - I am about 6 weeks. MW appointment not til 30th Aug so havent got her number yet.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 19/08/2008 19:18

Sorry x posts also, hi KK

OP posts:
SesQal · 19/08/2008 19:20

Thanks guys... I'm a bad worrier at the best of times but I think I'll just have to try and get on with the next 2 weeks.
Kooky - I really know that "Not fair" feeling!!
I think I'll do the dvd or crap tv and chocolate this evening (I accidentally bought some on my way home from work!)

Gruffalo - I agree with Kooky that brown isn't meant to be a problem normally. Take it easy this evening. If you still have some in the morning, phone MW.

GruffaloSoldier · 19/08/2008 19:20

Thanks NJ, think I will ring docs in the morning and see. Difficulty is that I am nannying tomorrow and don't know what to tell my boss - although I could get appointment after work.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 19/08/2008 19:21

6 weeks, could still be implantation.

Just be warned, if you do end up having a scan tomorrow, it may be a bit early to see a heart beat, doesn't mean there is something wrong but I know a lot of women get worked up about it. They will be able to tell with other ways (the size and position) if everything is as it should be, and 9 times out of 10 they will call you back in a week or 2 for a repeat scan, just so they can see the HB.

OP posts:
SesQal · 19/08/2008 19:22

Gruff - If you're still worried in the morning, then could you phone the people you're meant to be nannying for and just claim illness? Fingers crossed everything will be ok though.

GruffaloSoldier · 19/08/2008 19:23

Thanks Ses. Thanks again everyone. I will try not to panic. Got a friend coming over in 10mins for dinner so am trying to pull myself together- eek!

I'll let you know how I get on.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 19/08/2008 19:23

Gruff, see how worried you are in the morning, if there has been any more, then call in sick if that's possible. If it has stopped and you feel you can wait till after work, then do that. Just make sure you take it easy, even at work.

OP posts:
NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 19/08/2008 19:29

Right I am off again, bed time is calling

Gruff hope you get on OK tomorrow, and dinner goes well. I will get on as soon as I can to see if you've updated.

Ses, get the chocolate out and enjoy the crap telly

G'night everyone xxx

OP posts:
GruffaloSoldier · 19/08/2008 19:29

Ok NJ I will do - thanks again! I better go and prepare for my guest!

kookykid · 19/08/2008 19:30

Gruff, I'm sure things are fine, but if still worried do call your docs in the monring and insist on being seen. Sorry this issuch a worry.

kookykid · 19/08/2008 19:31

yay Ses! Great minds! Enjoy!

lardybump · 19/08/2008 19:31

Gruffalo so sorry for you. But as the others have said brown is not bad and at 6 weeks could be implantation.. Relax and rest is the best advise.
