Right, I'm off to work (thank goodness the SE regional meeting is only 30 min drive for me so I could stay and book my place at the spa!)

Have a fab day and I'll check in later

emlou84 · 19/08/2008 09:25

hi hope you dont mind if i join?? im new on her and love reading all your msgs-sounds like you support each other greatly! it gives me a warm feeling inside! we are TTC #3, i have 2 ds already. i am a little worried about trying this time as i have come off of cerezette pill and have read quite a few stories where people get PG then m/c! i have 2 m/c before my 2 ds but was never investigated-they said would have to have 3 in a row!! AF due on 28th august. feel tired and feel really sick pretty much all day would this be too early for any signs. never had sickness with either ds? hope you dont mind me wanting to join you all?

Dalrymps · 19/08/2008 09:31

Morning everyone, spa sounds good, bacl massage for me I think.
I've just spent the last half hour pulling ds off the video recorder and dvd player. He does understand the word 'no' but thinks it's very funny

Here's a question, if you had a GOF just a few days after your AF is there any chace you could be pregnant? Like, is it possible to be someone who ovulates really early in the month? Just asking cause we did and I have occasionally felt a bit sick and thought I had leaky boobs when I got changed for bed last night, I gave them a bit of a squeeze and they did produce a drop each (they did this for quite a while after I stopped bf anyway but had 'dried up' for now, or so I thought). It's probably all in my head though, not due AF till 2nd sept so very unlikely. We did use a condom that time but messed around a bit first and did have a few thrusts i'm just wondering cause thats basically how ds was concieved

Off to put my 3rd dot on my chart

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 19/08/2008 09:39

welcome to the wagon (or the field we're in today) Emlou... I have never suffered a m/c so cant fully imagine how worried you must be, i know i obviously worry about it, but i dont actually know how it'd feel to be in that situation. Hopefully as you've had 2 healthy dc's you'll be fine... and no probs you joining the wagon- the more the merrier!!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 19/08/2008 09:43

and sorry can't help you on that one Dalry... i'm an average by the book 28 day cycle woman... but i'm sure it could possibly happen...

As for leaky boobs... i stoped feeding my dd well over 2 years ago and still got milk around mid-cycle... my boobs are leaking lots atm though.

also, i feel like i've got bruising all round my waist and lower back... is that normal? i'm around 5wks now...

emlou84 · 19/08/2008 09:44

hi dalrymps when did you stop bf? i would wait to see what happens at end of the month. did you have any signs this early with your ds? so when exactly did you have the GOF? im noisy but just trying to work about your approx ovualtion day? normally ovualte 12-16 before yor next AF?

tinkispregnantwithpickle · 19/08/2008 09:49

welcome emlou and good luck we are good bunch on here and have a very positive thread

emlou84 · 19/08/2008 09:49

thanks glask! so ru 5 weeks preg? i gave exactly the saem feel at the min the bottom of my back feels like im brused like someone has hit me with a cricket bat!
had a funny spell last night when cooking i was hiung over a bucket trying to be sick and then nearly passed out. i dont know if im just looking for anything that relates to PG but AF due in 8 days could this be any signs?......or just me wishful thinking

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 19/08/2008 09:50

Morning Tink, have fun swimming

Welcome to Emlou, I've no experience of Cerezette I'm afraid, might be worthstarting a new thread on MN to get peoples experiences?

Dal, I must have OV'ed on about CD9 when I got pregnant this time, other cycles I'd OV around CD15-18 so it was very early for me, though I'd had a MC not long before so I expect my cycles were all over the place because of that. And the pregnancy I MC'd was brought about because we'd been 'dipping it in' ( ) before putting a condom on LOL God this brings back the early days of the thread

emlou84 · 19/08/2008 09:50

im trying hard to keep up woth everything on this could anyone give me a give break down of who is PG and who is TTC?

im not very fast sorry

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 19/08/2008 09:53

Em, 8 days before your period is due is very early for noticable symptoms, still that isn't to say it isn't a symptom!

Glask the bruised feeling is absolutely normal, it is the result of everything shifting around, a bit like if you haven't exercised for a while and then do a work out, your muscles hurt the next day.

emlou84 · 19/08/2008 09:54

I don't know anything about this cerezette, but if it is that likely you'd MC after it, it might be worth waiting a couple of cycles to get it out of your system?

Sorry, I'm sure that's not what you wanted to hear

OP posts:
Dalrymps · 19/08/2008 09:58

Hmm I think it maybe as glaskham said then, I would be mid cycle now so that maybe why i've got leaky boobs, stopped bfing about 5 months ago.
I had the GOF only 1 or 2 days after I finished my last AF iirc, last AF was from 6th to 10th aug. I don't know about signs this early with ds cause he was a suprise but I do remember having very tender breasts but that was more around the time my AF was due.
Looking at the evidence I theink it's VERY unlikely and i'm probably just being paranoid. It would be nice although i'd rather wait till Jan, ah well, whatever will be will be.

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 19/08/2008 10:00

its odd hearing everyone saying they are gonna pounce on their OH's when they get home. we've only GOF'd once since our BFP... if it had been a BFN i'd be pouncing on DH when he got home too!!

kookykid · 19/08/2008 10:09

Morning eveyone. Thanks for all your messages - can't tell you how good it is to get them when feeling grrrrrrr at AF!

Welcome Dal and Em and anyone else I missed. I was on Cerazette, stopped taking it and got pg with my DD about 5 months later. Hard to believe we weren't even trying that hard!

Glask, your 'friend' doesn't sound like much of one! I'd ditch her TBH. I'm sure your DD has many good adult infulences in her life already and this bad feeling seems like something that's not going to go away. If she wasn't a godmother would it feel easier? Sorry and for you.

NJ - PMSL at "dipping"!!!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 19/08/2008 10:14

KK- if she wasn't DD's godmother i'd not want anything more to do with her, but i felt i owed it to DD to at least try and salvage a little of the friendship so we could be civil and DD could still know her godmother.

I suppose most children aren't bothered about who their godparents are anyhow... I dont see 2 of my godparents any more, haven't since i was about 8... so i suppose DD wont be missing out on much.

kookykid · 19/08/2008 10:17

Glask, it sounds like you did try and that's more than a lot of people would do!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 19/08/2008 10:27

Thanks KK... i think i've rid my hands of her now... i've had tears and tantrums about it all morning and some of yesterday too... i don't see why i should be made to feel so bad....

anyway onto a nicer subject.... I won a bundle of baby clothes on ebay... the woman is dropping them off for me this afternoon as she's passing, its mostly unisex, and i've been collecting both girls and boys clothes since before i was even ttc... i made the mistake of selling my dc's clothes, so have been getting a nice stock of clothes in both sexes just in case... and if i have a boy and my sister has a girl i will give her all the girls stuff, or vice-versa...

I'm all exited to be getting some newborn sleepsuits and vests!!.... i know some will see it as bad luck, but if i had kept my dc's clothes it'd already be here etc...

Dalrymps · 19/08/2008 11:19

ooh how exciting glaskham, i've still got ds's clothes so not bought any more at the moment. However I have been buying lots of maternity clothes from ebay and the blooming marvellous sale. The reason being, I spent most of my last pregnancy in painting clothes and felt very frumpy (we'd just moved house and were decorating) so this time decided I want to look at least presentable! Enjoy playing with all the newborn vetst
