Hi BigTree

Crikey youve just reminded me of the hot flushes, hanging out of the bedroom window at 2 in the morning but specialist told me normal and its like going through the menapause (soory if spelt wrong

Anyway I got pregnant after the 3rd go with Clomid however I did give up work as thought could be stress and 3 months later got preganant (so could have helped) I was monitored and had to have bloods taken at different times, was quite reassuring to be honest as you knew you were ovulating or not, one month mine where through the roof and they had been overstimulated.

They must do things a bit diff now so dont worry Im sure your appointment will through soon and fingers crossed you wont need it lol

Leaky your doing really well not testing I know your tempted.

Inni, I did hear that some mums dont show any hcg at all all through there pregnancies and they go on to have healthy babes, please book in at the Drs though I know it will put your mind at rest a little. ps stay with us on here lol

Hi ya Jael

I had a evap line last month we think, daft question but is the line coloured the same as the test line if that makes sense, mine was like a shadow, I would in this case retest (or go to drs to save pennies)

inni · 27/08/2008 08:51

Hello everyone
I'm still here waiting to get an appointment and have a blood test. Still worry though. Thanks Alfie, I heard some other places too, that the HCG are unpredictable and even if you have low it might be alright. I've thinking that maybe I should buy a different test. These one were one of the cheapest and both were in the same box. Maybe I just better wait for the blood test cos I wouldn't know what to do if getting the same line.
Can anyone explain me what is this Clomid and what is for? Since I've been around this kind of forums I've seen how often is mention and would like to know. I hope don't seem silly to ask

alfiemama · 27/08/2008 09:41

Hi Inni

I would say that an evap line would not usually show up on two tests so hope that puts your mind at rest a little.

Clomid is a fertility drug (no your not silly lol I cant get my head round half of these codes, its like a whole new world lol
It basically stimulates your ovaries (he he sounds like you dont need it)

JLo2 · 27/08/2008 12:02

Hi again everyone. Back from my hols, but looks like I'm out for this month
Feeling fine about it, as had already decided that a May baby might not be such a good idea as DS1 will be in the middle of his Year 6 SATs! Although I'm sure if it had happened he would have coped
Beginning to wonder if TTC#4 is such a good idea. Both DH and I would really like another, but there are the other 3DS's to think about. There would be at least 6.5 years age gap. I know it would change the family dynamics and would obviously have an effect on what the other 3 can and can't do. Are we being selfish? Or am I just suffering from post holiday wobbles? The 5 of us had such a good time, would a sixth ruin it?

inni · 27/08/2008 12:48

They are not evap lines as they came up before the first minute. I just need to be sure that is the real thing cos a HPT is not 100% reliable. Thanks for explaining about the Clomid Alfie. My sister in law is 25 and has just 3 or 4 times a year her AF. She is TTC#1 but scared it will take long time. She having some tablets to regulate her AF and get her to ovulate every month.

littlemissmischief · 27/08/2008 14:58

Hi Ladies,
Im feeling alot better about things now and think it just wasnt meant to be this month. I just wanted to say im now moving onto the June thread and I hope to see some of you on there cos we are surely all due some BFP and some likkle June babies

Good luck to all of you who already have your BFP especially you Inni im sure things will be fine for you just try to relax and enjoy it, i know its hard tho.

Ohh and all enjoy your BD

RipMacWinkle · 28/08/2008 19:05

Hi LMM - glad to hear you're feeling a bit better. Could be joining you on the June thread shortly

Currently on the 2ww, reckon I'm on CD22 on a 28/29 day cycle so another week to go for me. Nothing to report though - no symptoms. Not a thing. Mind you, last month I had lots of brown stuff with a bright red bleed about 9DPO and still got a BFN so maybe no news is good news

Hope everyone is well - fingers crossed that we can get some more May babies

RipMacWinkle · 28/08/2008 19:07

JLo2 - glad you had a good holiday and sorry you're out for this month but it sounds like maybe you've had a bit of a reprieve to think things over.

Good luck with whatever you decide - maybe we'll see you on the June thread?

bigtree · 28/08/2008 20:01

Hi all..
Well cd20 for me..trying not to symptom spot but its hard isn't it..
The only one i've got up to yet is (sorry in advance for tmi but..)i've got an abundance of creamy cm!never had this much before, it has soaked through my underwear today
and i feel constantly wet down there it's gross! Am really hoping thats a good sign as i've read somwhere that lots of cm is an early symptom but i've been let down that many times i'm telling myself its just the clomid again messing me about!

RipMac..it's not over till 'she' arrives and i've
had friends who did not have one symptom before getting there bfp so fingers crossed for you and for everyone else still in the running,to those who are not good luck for next month and maybe i'll see you on the next thread if a May baby is not to be for me x x

inni · 29/08/2008 07:30

Good luck to RipMac and bigtree on your waiting I really wish you get a bfp this time.
Jlo2 I think that if you feel that your family is not complete yet y you can manage your life with one more why not. I think it's beautiful to have a big family. I always say I just want three but as much as I like having children I don't know if I'll stop there. The happiness of having a baby is not measurable to anything else. Good luck to you too.
Hey alfie any hope for you this months are in your 2ww?

JLo2 · 29/08/2008 14:57

Thanks for your support. I think I'm going let fate decide for a while - if it happens, it happens, if not I have 3 great children and consider myself very very lucky At some point I will stop TTC, but I'm not ready yet.
Best of luck to all of you and if things don't work out please join us over on the June thread I will still be lurking here to check for all the BFP's

leaky · 29/08/2008 16:27

Hi everyone,

Well my AF has arrived, bang on time. I actually feel ok about it, probably cos I often have the niggling feeling of wondering if going up to 3 kids is a good move for us as a family or not.Actually it's been SO nice to have a day where I've not been constantly thinking 'am I pregnant?'

Off on holiday tomorrow to my mum's in Spain so good luck to all those still waiting....be good to hear about some BFP's

I'll join the June thread now too.

RipMacWinkle · 29/08/2008 22:39

Hi Leaky - really sorry to hear about AF's arrival.

Enjoy your holiday, come back refreshed and relaxed (ready for a June baby? )

MintChocAddict · 29/08/2008 22:57

Hi RMW,
In the same boat as you I think. Another few days at least before I can test. Had convinced myself that I was having strange niggles last week but reckon I was madly trying to symptom spot.
Am pretty grumpy today so reckon AF may well be on route.
Good luck to all!

RipMacWinkle · 29/08/2008 23:16

Ha ha minty - if that was the case then DH would say that I was pre-menstrual all of the time

Feeling really nauseous this afternoon/evening but only on cd23. Surely too early? I think I'm imagining symptoms now. Not a good sign.

inni · 31/08/2008 06:54

morning all
I had another test done yesterday and within 30 sec got two dark lines. I'm sooooo relieved. I couldn't stop thinking this wasn't right but finally it turned out ok. I still need to make sure with dr that everything is going well. You have such a good support in this moment of stress and thank you all. I wish you all good luck for this cycle and to have a healthy pregnancy.

JLo2 · 31/08/2008 13:39

Fantastic news inni

bigtree · 01/09/2008 00:49

Really pleased for you inni ..
Hi Rip Mac i'm cd 23 too and i am exactly the same have got every symptom going in my head but when i think about it i have none really!
well will know soon enough and if i'm honest i think i'll be joining the others on the June thread..
But on a cheerier note..i have recieved in the post yesterday one of those new pregnancy conception indicator tests they look v good but don't want waste it on a bfn so will prob keep hold of it for a bit..see you all soon as d day looms!!xx

skiptonmaria · 01/09/2008 17:12

Hiya, bit late in the day but could I join too? We decided to start TTC#2 and are currently doing the BD well obviously not right this very minute...AF is due on DD 3rd birthday 16th Sept, which makes me about CD13 I think? Resulting in a very late May baby! Hopefully...DD was a first attempt baby so hoping #2 will be as easy! Good Luck to all of you!

RipMacWinkle · 01/09/2008 19:58

Oh for goodness sake, would somebody kick me please? Earlier today, I used my all-singing-all-dancing test. Of course it's a BFN. Think I just wanted to torture myself.

And in a superb twist of fate, I've now got lots of classic pre-af pains.

I'm now feeling super low. Can't even face thinking about the whole thing now.

Off to find chocolate x

twoplease · 01/09/2008 20:16

Oh RipVW - so sorry! we have all been there - you still have a few days to go though so hang on in there!

maybe we should think of activities to do to avoid testing. Defrosting the fridge would eb a good one!!

bigtree · 02/09/2008 01:12

Ripmac it's still sooo early for testing. I'm the same cd as you and am trying stay strong and will not test till sun if no af. So wait till the weekend and test again. It's early to be getting af pains too,do you normally get them that early before af?i start with af pains the moment i come on but i've been getting them today on and off and i'm not due for another week so am wondering if something is going on aarrrghhh!!!must not test must not test!!

Twoplease i may defrost my fridge with you! x

RipMacWinkle · 03/09/2008 06:11

Well I'm now on cd28 (with a pretty regular 28/29 day cycle) and unfortunately, I usually do get af pains for a couple of days before. That's definitely what it feels like. They way I'm cramping, I'm expecting af later today/tomorrow.

But I guess you never know. If af doesn't appear by Friday I'll test then or on Saturday. I would have thought that the cb (being so sensitive) would have picked anything up on cd26.

Anyway, can you tell that I'm trying to prepare myself for the worst but secretly hoping that some pesky little swimmer has hung on in there for a few days?

HOw is everyone else holding out? Any symptoms? Testing?

MintChocAddict · 03/09/2008 22:25

Hi All,

I'm out I'm afraid. AF arrived tonight so going to hop over to June thread to start all over again. Very best of luck to all those still waiting. Fingers tightly crossed for you all. .

RipMacWinkle · 05/09/2008 14:39

Hi

Sorry to hear af got you Mintchoc.

I'm still waiting but I'm 100% sure she's coming. Plus I did another test today and it was an emphatic BFN. Came up straight away. I'm not holding out much hope.

Am now at that stage where I just want af to arrive so I can start again (and move to the June thread )

How's everyone else doing? Or has everyone moved to the late May/June thread?
