To start off, TTC1 Month 6 period due 21st/22nd Aug.

Can I ask a TMI question? Have very stretchy clear CM this morning first thing. If we BD tonight, is it too late?

I'm CD26 today, AF prob not due for another week or so. I did a FR this morning, just cuz it was looking at me lol was BFN of course,am I kidding myself that I could still be pregnant,or am I just testing too early?

I might be mistaken but i'm sure the ewcm happens over a few days around ovulation,i get it for about 3 days. So if it's your first day of the stuff it may mean your about to ovulate and an egg is viable for about 12 hrs so go for it tonight and i'm sure you won't have missed the boat..good luck.

Littlemissmischief, I think EWCM stands for egg white clear mucus & presumably CM is clear mucus.Anyone else tell us if that's right or not? Think you're due around the same time as me this mth so i'm watching your comments closely! Good luck

Alfiemama, you were saying you were hoping for a girl this time, me too. I also have two boys already.But did you know there's a certain time of the month you must BD for a girl? My friend has lent me a book called Choosing The Sex Of Your Baby, the natural way, and it makes so much sense. My last 2 pregnancies I worked out when I was OV & did it then so that makes sense to me as to why I have 2 boys....the male sperm swim faster so get there 1st exactly as the egg is being released.If you'd like a girl you must stop BD 4-5 days before you OV which sounds crazy but the male sperm will die quicker than the girl sperm, which live longer but swim slower,& they will make it to the egg a few days later in time for OV.Sounds complicated but really makes sense. It worked for my friend & some of hers too but obviously not everyone.You have to be patient thou & really try & work out when exactly you're OV.Depends how much you'd really like a girl.

Sorry to have gone on & on but I never knew all that until my friend explained it to me.

I was trying not to be so confusing.I'll try it again in a shorter(hopefully)version.

Two types of sperm, male & female.
Male swim fast but die quicker.
Female swim slower but live longer, upto 5 days!!
If you BD when OV you're more likely to get a boy (boy sperm will get to the egg first)
If you stop BD 4-5 days before you OV, by the time the egg is released the male sperm should have died but the female sperm have had time to make it there as they live longer.
Apparently you should BD every other day after period to try & get rid of most of the male sperm but stop 4-5 days before OV to give the girls a chance!

Hope that makes a bit more sense now

Leaky crikey, I did think about the sex selection and looked it up on the net but to be honest it took so long with Alfie and then I got preganant with Archie straight away but he has a heart condition, nearly lost him that I really dont care as long as healthy and really dont want it to take ages again. I am a strong believer in fate and will take whatever bundle the stork wants to send

Hey can I join?I just need to share with women in the same situation. I'm TTC3, cycle 1, AF due 25-26 August. Can I ask something? I don't really remember my first weeks in my last two pregnancies but are have to have symptoms sore boobs and brown discharge. My belly is bloated and feeling sick but don't want to have false hope yet. I'll wait for my AF to be due to have a test done cos I don't like the dissapointment after BFN, if you know what I mean

I think i ovulated yesterday and did plenty of bd'ing so am just praying the little swimmers do there job!
Started getting really uncomfortable bloating pains in stomach last night and they continue today,sorry tmi but it's like i'm really full of wind and i feel like i'm stretched to burst!had it a little last month after o so thinking it might be the clomid and not getting my hopes up..
Has anyone else had this??

Morning ladies, feeling a little chirpier today

Need some help tho (sorry for the tmi in advance) but have slight crampy pains in my tummy but not really like period pain more like a sharp windy pain, just been to the toilet and there is a tiny bit of discharge and it isnt red or broen it is kind of peacy coloured - i've not ever had this with my af before, has anyone had this or any ideas what it could be?

Im on CD31 today with no idea of AF due date

Morning all - so busy yesterday evening doing stuff that we were too tired to DTD. Aaarrrrggghhhh. I think i'm pretty much out for a May baby.

Honestly I think i'm shying away from even trying now as I'm getting a bit down about it all. Next month I think i have to chill. Unfortunately I really do think that I ov'd on Wed or yesterday. Crap.

Af is due around 4th/5th Sept - it's pretty regular so if it's not here by the 7th I'll be testing with ya bigtree. Would be a miracle baby though

littlemiss - sounds interesting. Is it worth doing a test or are you holding out a bit longer?

Littlemiss,i've no idea what it is but if it's something you've not experienced before it could be a positive sign.

At cd31 you could test??I think your very strong not to have tested already..

Hi folks - I have been ttc no 2 for 18 mths now. CD24, AF due any day now (after Monday will be officially late as normal cycle is 24 -27 days)

ahh thanks ladies i'm quite pleased with myself for not testing yet but cos i know it took 4 weeks to get a positive with ds i thought there really isn't any point. Although think i will test tom cos dp wants to be there so fingers crossed. Sorry for the description it meant to say a peachy colour like very very light pinky colour i also feel really wet down there sorry for tmi again but when i checked there was no more stuff.

Im pretty sure you get more discharge than normal (sorry for tmi but a bit creamy) crikey lol what are we lot like also if I remember rightly you do get crampy pains at first in pelvis
(hope someone else comes alongs and says same thing or will look daft) but Im almost sure

Bigtree I also get bloated around this time and a sharp pain (have always thougth I was ovulating and not one Clomid at the mo (but have been on it in the past) Alf was a clomid babe.

If you dont get the ewcm can you still ovulate, I havent really noticed any this month

I can't remember with last two pregnancies about the discharge but I can remember last time feeling like AF was going to arrive for about a week. My AF isn't due until next Friday,30th, the day before we go to Spain to see my mum, so it would be great to have some good news for her.

Saying that,I've been getting very mild crampy pains on & off for a few days now which is over a week before AF is due so feeling a bit hopeful but at the same time trying not to get too hopeful!

My poor DH. I pestered him to BD for days around the right time & now all I want to do is fall into bed,do a sudoko puzzle & then go straight to sleep Oh well, I guess he has to be happy to get it when he can!!

Sorry bout the bfn but not over until the fat lady sings or in our case af comes a knockin, some ladies on here had negs until a positive showed up, so still could be and if not heres to next month.

Leaky funnily enough Archie had his 6 month checkup today and he is doing really well he had something called corrected transposition which is very rare he is basically wired the complete opposite to us, the specialist was really pleased with him.

I know what you mean about being knackered we are bd everynight as I totally confused as to when I am ovulating, last month I was 39 cd's so am keeping going incase I miss the ov ifykwim

Think AF is defo on its way

Have really bad period pains (worse than normal) and the dicharge has now changed to a brown colour (which I always get before AF)

Im really gutted, but I know there is always next month think im gonna do it properly with ov sticks, can anyone tell me where to get them the cheapest and how you use them

The worse thing is if im not pg all these symopts have been in my head
