GYo · 20/07/2008 17:37

LOL I've just been standing outside watching them. Im such a plane geek.

Im also so so so bored from "resting" today that anything is more interesting than the living room.

babytime · 20/07/2008 18:20

GYo - just catching up.

Sorry you had that little scare, your description of it does sound like an implantation bleed.

Hope you are feeling ok

I would love to be watching that show on my doorstep!

Can you beleive I still think I am pregnant? I started a new thread in pregnancy asking if people got positives later than five weeks after having a light period and a few said yes.

I know I am probably being silly but I am going to test next thurs which would make me 6 weeks.

I am just so tired and could not drink when I went out last night. I just dont know when to give up

It would be funny if I was because we would have the same due date.

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend - getting ready for lots of GOF this week.

x

GYo · 20/07/2008 18:31

Hi Babytime
thanks for your message.

Good for you for staying optimistic. Its funny how your body is giving you those symptoms though- and stranger things have happened.

Can implantation bleeds really be as late as 5wks? thought it happened at 3 or 4...

On plus side I've got boobs that feel like they've been used as rugby balls...

Diege how was your lunch out with DH and family?

babytime · 20/07/2008 18:33

my friend bled a little at 8 weeks.

she went for an earlt scan and everthing was fine.

may not be an implantation - could be a hormone thing.

GYo · 20/07/2008 18:52

Thanks Babytime,

I think the best attitude is what will be will be... its it meant to be will be and viceversa.

Does make me wonder about telling close family etc. Was glad I hadnt last night but then realised that I'd like their support in case of things going wrong.

babytime · 20/07/2008 19:12

Thats what I thought.

I told people straight away.

If anything had happened I would have wanted to talk to them about it.

Diege · 20/07/2008 20:05

Evening . Congrats again Cosmo about bfp - that really is great news .
Had a nice meal out at Wagamama's with dh and dds, but felt absolutely awful when I got back - a tiredness like you wouldn't believe, and slept from 3 to 6 . Will be glad to get work over tomorrow I must say - thanks SES, kooky, I'll take it easy and be ready to dash to loos for weeps, although colleague has e-mailed me over weekend expressing symptahies etc etc but promising no 'touchy feely stuff' . I am so not a hugs person, and the open arms head on side thing was filling me with dread (I am strange I know!).
Signing off for tonight, xxx

Cosmogirl · 20/07/2008 20:20

Thanks Diege . I still can't quite believe it yet. Will do another test tomorrow to check! Glad you had a nice meal - I absolutely love Wagamama's - such good food. Hope tomorrow goes OK. Night night all.

GYo · 20/07/2008 20:25

Evening all

Diege glad your lunch was ok, and that your DH is allow you to get the rest that you need. Good luck with work, we will all be thinking of you.

Ses15 · 20/07/2008 20:34

Hi! Sort of ready for our guests tomorrow. They arrive at about midday.

Cosmo - keeping fingers crossed that those lines become stronger

GYo - you're sounding a little more positive which is good. I think you've got the right attitutude. Is it tomorrow that you're seeing GP? I think if it's just been pink CM and a bit of light bleeding, you'll be fine. Hope so! Do let us know how you get on.

GYo · 20/07/2008 21:59

Will check out now too, off to pick up DH from the airport...

bye all

calsworld · 20/07/2008 22:25

cosmo! Congratulations! You to MamaFelix.

Diege, good to hear you feel so much better, hope tomorrow doesn't take too much out of you and glad you have some support there.

Gruffalo - if its any consolation, all those in tents last night said they were freezing cold (which made me feel a bit guilty lying in my warm bed with the heating on!!!!) and the rain showers were a bit of a pain too. I'd like to go 'proper' camping (i.e. with a tent) in August when the weather should be better.

But DS had a wonderful time charging around the field and it was all so much easier than I expected it to be, with regards to looking after him, getting him to sleep (no problems there!) etc. I really feel like I've had a holiday, which is just as well coz I suspect that tomorrow (back at work) is probably going to be a bit pants by comparison!

I've even had such a good break that I'd lost track of where I am in my cycle so have looked it up tonight on my trusty chart and today is CD41 and still no AF. My longest cycle to date has been 41 days so she may arrive tomorrow...I'd do a test in the morning but I don't have any left. How's that for poor planning.

I'll either buy one tomorrow or maybe order some on line...I'm not too worried about testing as it won't change the result and I've seen enough BFN's to last me a lifetime!

Am absolutely shattered after our weekend away, despite a very goodnights sleep last night and a lie in (don't choke) till 8.45! I think it must have been all the fresh air that made DS sleep so late! Anyway, am heading off to bed and in the office tomorrow, will try and pop on.

G'night all!

mamafelix · 21/07/2008 07:44

Thanks for the congratulations! And my congrats to Cosmo too...Gyo, got me fingers crossed for you.

For anyone symptom spotting, I'll put in my tuppenny worth too:

INSOMNIA - waking at about 3 am and feeling wide awake; this happened last time for the full 9 months!
VERY HOT - like a furnace at night particularly, unlike ever before
NO BOOB TINGLING ...am waiting for that as I had it last time I was pregnant (this is my second)

I guess it's v. early days anyway.
Also an interesting thing...I tested using my precious Clearblue pee stick at 13DPO and it was VERY quick to show a plus sign, and quite a dark one too. But no tingly boobs...most peculiar.

GYo · 21/07/2008 07:47

Morning,

Thanks Cal. Did another test this morning but was a Sainsburys 4 days early one and line is bit odd and much fainter. Think I might have not used it properly. Will try with my last FR tomorrow morning.

Hope everyone has good days. I am going to try not to think about it too much and focus on work....[gonna be hard!]

GYo · 21/07/2008 08:24

Hi Cosmo

How was it odd? Did you take a picture. I used one of the Sainsburys tests at the w/e and it was a bit odd - certainly not as clear as the more £££ FRs.

Good luck for staying strong.

tinkisagracefulshamu · 21/07/2008 08:41

morning

perhaps the test is dodgy the line you got yest was definetly very clear
you take it easy @ work today diege and dont over do it.

glaskham · 21/07/2008 09:55

wow- congrats to you cosmo!!! and you too mama.

I've been suffering with a sore throat over the weekend!! but its not too bad!! I went to the next sale on saturday and got the kids loads, got dd a dress and 3 pairs of leggings and got ds 2 pairs of jeans, and 3 fleecy jumpers, and got dh a t-shirt for his bday too and it only cost me £17!!!

then went to tram sunday festival yesterday, kids went on rides, bought tons of stuff, ate loads of crap and then we went back to my mums and had a nice family roast to celebrate my little sisters 18th bday which is today!! Its also my 3rd wedding anniversary today, but DH is working oh well!!

Cosmogirl · 21/07/2008 09:57

Doing well at keeping focussed
It just looked a bit odd, the line looked weak and went wonky at the end. Guess because it is a cheaper test, also maybe I didn't wee on it for long enough. Think I'll stick to FR in future!

Playingthe9monthwait · 21/07/2008 09:58

Morning all,

Deige - glad you're coping ok for now, I have been thinking of you this weekend.

GYo - I am sure the pinkish CM is nothing to worry about certainly if it hasn't escalated, but it would be worth mentioning it to your GP.

Cosmo - That looks like a BFP to me. You'll probably find that the FR tests were more sensitive then the Sainsburys tests. I know that the tesco ones read 25ml whereas I have heard that the first response can read as little as 10ml. Test tomorrow with FMU to be sure.

MamaFelix - Congratulations.

Cal - sounds like you had a good break but I think you need to go and buy a test .

Hi everyone else

Ah the Farnborough Air Show. I remember living in Fleet when it was on, twas really loud!

Cosmogirl · 21/07/2008 09:58

Thanks Glask! Still not sunk in yet...Congrats on your anniversary!

Playingthe9monthwait · 21/07/2008 09:59

Cosmo - I find it easier to wee into a container and dip the test in, rather than wee on the test. Maybe try that tomorrow.

glaskham · 21/07/2008 10:03

yeah i find dipping easier too!!

thanks cosmo- we never really celebrate our wedding anniversary- with it being so close to our 'been together' anniversary (the 11th july) and DH's bday (31st july) and on the same day as my sisters bday we tend to celebrate either side with other things!!
