Hi Pop great news, glad Kings were so good and helpful.

You must be relieved to get the first stage over. Are you excited about having twins?

Playingthe9monthwait · 31/07/2008 10:18

Pop, so happy for you. Really glad it went well.

pophas2beans · 31/07/2008 10:21

Yes GYo - I'm VERY excited!

Starshinetiger · 31/07/2008 10:44

Pop - very good news - very pleased for you.
GS - Huge congrats on finishing your dissertation - I still remember that feeling and it was 3 years ago for me (DS was born within a year of me finishing - I obviously like a project )!
Playing - glad the scan went well, how nice to get confirmation. Agree on the DVD though (We don't even have one of our wedding mind you!)
Hope you're all having a good day.
By the way - power of persuasion or what - I'm off to get Maccy Ds for my lunch today - I have to go to another site for the afternoon adn Maccy Ds is on the way and plain chips are definitely something I fancy currently [big fat bloated emoticon]!

moosma · 31/07/2008 11:17

Hello all, remember me??!

Just popped on and feeling very much out of the loop, anything to report? The last thing I heard was Playing's BFP.....

My cycle is still very wonky, currently on CD32 I think and no clue about what's happening!

calsworld · 31/07/2008 11:32

Hi Moos, course we remember you! How are you doing? I've got my BFP at last too, and Cosmo. Gruffalo has finally finished the final draft of her dissertation and I think is in recovery, and as you can see from today, POP has had a bit of a worry about her twins but had some great news at her scan yesterday .

Tink still pops in regularly - doing her christmas shopping already! Diege is hoping to re-join the thread soon IIRC so you'll have familiar company too. Haven't heard from Teuch or Kay for ages - Kay is having internet problems and Teuch is just being busy as normal I guess! Who else, oh Lardybump is doing well too, but suffering with bad MS !

NJ is still floating around but she's got both her DS' at the moment due to school holidays so has less chance to get on MN.

In between, there's been all the 'normal' ups and downs of TTC with plenty of CM, TMI and testing of course!

How's that for a quick round up?

Playingthe9monthwait · 31/07/2008 11:38

Hi Moos. How are you? Of course we all remember you!!

moosma · 31/07/2008 11:39

Very good Cals, and congratulations to you and Gruffalo!
Why has Diege been away, did something happen?

My cousin has just announced she's due in Feb so am feeling very but it will be good to clear our loft out a bit when I lend her all the baby stuff!

Starshinetiger · 31/07/2008 11:43

Hey Moos, good to hear from you! Brilliant round up Cals !
I got my BFP too.
How's the barn conversion planning/work coming along.
Afraid not good news for Diege - baby stopped growing at 7 weeks, but she said she would be back on after her hols I think.
Can I just remind you "Morning Sickness" and then you might not feel so .

calsworld · 31/07/2008 11:44

MMC, moosma, found out at 10 weeks, very , but she's doing OK and had lots of support from her lovely DH and the thread and she's planning on re-joining as soon as she's feeling up to it.

Are you still waiting to TTC? How are plans for barn conversion ( or am I making that bit up?)

Starshinetiger · 31/07/2008 11:44

Oops, I meant you might not feel so !

calsworld · 31/07/2008 11:46

Starshine! Sorry! Can't believe I missed off your BFP!

Pregnancy brain?

Also, I have DS here with another case of chicken pox, however, this time I believe the doctor as the spots are quite big and poxy looking unlike the last ones so MN is a little tricky - but not as tricky as being at work so I shouldn't complain

moosma · 31/07/2008 11:49

Oh poor Diege, good job she had you lot to look after her! I hope she's back soon

Congratulations to you too, Star, am I the only one left on the wagon now? What's GJ up to? And is sorky still pukey?

Barn is going v e r y s l o o o o o w l y but no actual problems yet, just lots and lots of red-taped hoops to jump through.

Starshinetiger · 31/07/2008 12:10

Sorry for red tape Moos, but glad it is at least progressing, albeit slowly.
Cals - sorry to hear about DS and don't worry about missing my BFP - it's very important to me, but I don't expect you to remember
GJ is still on wagon Moos, but haven't heard from her for a while.
There's a list floating around somewhere, but not sure where.

Playingthe9monthwait · 31/07/2008 13:02

Glad things are going ok, if a little slow Moos.

I haven't heard from GJ either for a while. She must be taking a break.

Think it is just the 2 of you waiting. We haven't had many new members for a while. I think maybe its a bit intimidating as most of us are now pg. I think we probably have too many pg realted posts on here!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 31/07/2008 14:44

Helloooooooooooo

A big hello to Moos, are you back for good or just catching up? Glad things are going well, if a little slow, with the barn

Pop, what a relief off your mind!!! I am so pleased things are looking good Is your sister doing OK as well?

Playing, glad the scan went well

Gruffalo, well done you!!! Hope you manage a celebration tonight

Cal, poor little DS He's had such a run of it hasn't he? Hope he isn't feeling too poorly with it? Have you had CP?

Afternoon,

Playing - So glad scan showed all well. £50 is not bad at all. I might see if somewhere around me does private ones...

Pop - glad to hear everything went well in London.

Moos - hi! Course we remember you. No, not heard much from GJ lately. Hope she's doing OK.

Cals- good round-up, impressive memory skills there!

lardybump · 31/07/2008 16:51

Evening everyone. Big hello moos so glad everything is going well for you....

Cals have you told your GP that you are pg because I think there can be issues with CP??? not 100% sure but best check if I were you....

Playingthe9monthwait · 31/07/2008 16:58

Hi Cosmo - I didn't think it was too bad tbh.

LB, how are you?

Playingthe9monthwait · 31/07/2008 17:08

ooo actually just noticed the time so should really think about leaving work. Got to go and sell my car tonight . Don't really want to but seriously can't justify keeping it. I only even use it to drive to and from work (a mile each way) which I know is and it spends all weekend sat on the drive. Its got to go, I just can't justify the cost of having a car (which I don't completely own so am still paying back) that I hardly ever use anymore. Not with my little bean. All the excuses I used to keep it since I started living and working in the same town (7 months ago) are just not enough now that money will really matter. Still, I am really sad to loose my car.

GYo · 31/07/2008 17:12

Hi Playing - sorry to hear your selling your car- will you now walk to work?

nearly hometime here. Thankgoodness- so so tired today.

How are you feeling now LB?

GS- are you up yet- did you sleep all day after your marathon dissertation write?

SesQal · 31/07/2008 17:30

Hi!

Pop - So pleased everything went well yesterday. You must be sooo relieved.

Playing - really excited for you too! Tbh I thought a private scan might have cost more than that. I might bear it in mind if when my time comes!

Moos - good to hear from you! Don't worry we're not all duffed! I'm going to start ttc properly again from next cycle.

NJ - you sound v organised with the party

Hi to everyone else!

Not really much news my end today. House is v quiet now the relatives have gone. Work is still going ok and that's about it really!

lardybump · 31/07/2008 17:36

I am ok, still feeling sick but whats new?. Melting today though where is the rain.......

Cosmogirl · 31/07/2008 17:56

The rain is here LB! Been chucking it down all day but it's still boiling hot. How many weeks are you now? When did sickness start for you? I'm 5+2 at a guess and tbh don't feel very pregnant at all.

Sorry about the car, Playing.

lardybump · 31/07/2008 18:00

Sickness started at 5 weeks for me. Had been moaning that I didnt feel pregnant or have any symptoms then a couple of days later bam the sickness hit me...

With dd it stopped at 12 weeks so I am praying the same will happen this time.

I am 10 weeks and 3 days so not long now.

It is still very early cosmo so please dont worry I am sure you will get symptoms soon.... I am looking very pregnant at the moment and will be in maternity clothes very soon.... I have already gone up a size... . With dd i didnt show until 16 weeks and she was 8lb 4, so this time I am going to have a little elephant....
