Oh and my sister's scan went very well- baby was moving all over the place!! The scan pics are lovely... And she's so glad she's finally got proof that its real as she's having no symptoms at all!! She's 13+1 so not as far as i thought, and is due on the 2nd feb!!

kookykid · 29/07/2008 17:58

Hey Glask, my best friend has also had her 12 weeks scan today and is due on the 3rd Feb. I remember that feeling of relief at DD's 12 week scan when everything was OK.

Glad you had a good holiday, 2bg.

2beautifulgirls · 29/07/2008 18:17

Glad your sisters scan went well Glask, she is due on my birthday Glad she got some good pics. Must be somethin g in the air to cause blood streaked EWCM, lets hope its something good

SesQal · 29/07/2008 18:54

Phew! Just caught up on all the chat!

Busylady - sorry for AF

My AF due Mon 4th and will probably then think about more focussed ttc. Unlikely to have suceeded this month as only GOFed once around ov due to relatives and DH was away with work just before that.

I'm still at work as meeting due to start in 10 mins! Bit of a late one today so will try and get away early tomorrow! New job still going well though

tinkisagracefulshamu · 29/07/2008 19:23

2beautifulgirls · 29/07/2008 21:10

Ses - it only takes one little swimmer, fingers crossed for you.
Glad your new job is going well.

I've had this headache on and off for 4 days now, its really p*ing me off now.

Me and DH just trying to decide what we need for next camping trip and where to go and how long for!!!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 30/07/2008 08:39

Morning all

Busy lady, sorry for your period coming. I don't mean to put worries into your head, but if you OV'ed on CD11, and period has arrived on CD19, that leaves you with only an 8 day LP, 8 days is fairly short, and could actually cause problems (i.e. nothing would have time to implant before your period flushed it all away) if this is a one off occurance, than nothing to worry about, but if you are constantly getting LP's shorter than 10 days then it might be worth you going to your GP.

Glask and Kooky, glad that both of the scans went well Always good to hear the good stories!

2BG, glad the camping was good, you picked the right weather for it!

Hello everyone else

Right, girls, I need a HUGEEEEE favour, if anyone is up for it? It's DH's birthday on Tuesday, DS1 has decided he wants to give his dad a surprise tea party, I've invited the family, everyone so far is coming, but I have a problem. Our town is quite small and only do a very limited selection of kids party ware (I am talking balloons, paper cups, and banners etc) so I can't go and buy any adult stuff, and I can't search all over the net for it because DH will see it in the google history bar thingy, so I wondered if anyone can google a few places that do adult party stuff (in the UK) and post the links for me, so I can press the links rather than type it all in IYSWIM? I will obviously share my galaxy choc with whoever helps us out if you can catch me

Morning everyone

Been a bit busy at work (so annoying when I cannot get on MN!) so need to catch up properly.

How are you feeling now NJ? Any better re MS?

glaskham · 30/07/2008 08:51

Right NJ- i'm on the case..... it will give me something else to do instead of cleaning before our hols... I'm also supposed to be packing today and need to do an hour round trip on the bus to take my house key to my sister so staying there for lunch.

And its my DH's birthday tomorrow and he's working so i'm baking him a cake i think with the kids, cant afford to buy him a good one so would rather make it!! And with our holiday, and giving my sister money so she's ok while she lives here for a few days and payday being on friday its a little bad timing for his birthday!! oh well we'll still spoil him rotten!!

Will be back with some links

I take it you need places that will deliver next working day then??

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 30/07/2008 08:54

I'm OK I think GYo thanks, some things still turn my stomache (the oven being the worst I think) but not feeling as run down as I was This party is just what I needed, in a pull yourself together kind of way! Ans the weather has helped loads! How about you?

Thanks Glask Didn't know if any of you would be about so I started a thread, shouldn't have bothered, should have known you'd come to the rescue

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 30/07/2008 08:55

OP posts:
glaskham · 30/07/2008 08:57

i have found a good site, what sort of theme did you want? if any? the decorations on the site i've found are all themed... but they have fab coloured plates, napkins cutlery etc!! Not overly priced either and do next day delivery!!

glaskham · 30/07/2008 09:07

this one

this one too

most of the sites dont have plain party decs etc, most have themed decs....

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 30/07/2008 09:09

Not sure on theme yet, don't know whether to go all posh and sophisticated or all OTT and merry? Think I'll know when I see it, can you post the link please?

Thanks a lot bTW, you are really helping me out here!

OP posts:
glaskham · 30/07/2008 09:10

no probs!! i'm desperatley trying to skive putting washing out, on and away... avoiding ironing, and avoiding trying to sort the living room to make space for the new pc desk that arrived this morning!!

GYo · 30/07/2008 09:12

Hi NJ

Glad you are feeling perky-er. Parties are great fun will look up some links later.

Im ok have real waves of feeling dreadful- bloated, tired, nauseous etc then feeling fine. I am sure thats normal but its very unnerving!

Anyone else had ups and downs with how they feel?

glaskham · 30/07/2008 09:12

i love the look of that for posh & sophisticated!!

glaskham · 30/07/2008 09:27

right i'm off now... gonna get the kids dressed and get to my sister asap so i can do all my jobs this afternoon!!

tata for now you lot!!xxx

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 30/07/2008 09:35

Thanks Glask Have a good day

GYo, ups and downs are very very normal. DS1's pregnancy I was very much up, DS2's, I was very much up again until the end when everything started going wrong, this one I have been very much down! But, over the last week have had some crap going on with my mum, and it kind of showed me that I didn't have anything at all to be down about, and then like I said, this party planning has pulled me back up, am hoping it is here to stay, I don't do being down very well (incase you lot hadn't noticed!!!) The stuff with mum is pretty much over (as in, I give up!) so I'm not going to give in to it anymore!

I think TBH as well, although I was kind of dreading it, (in an 'OMG what am I going to do with him?' way) having DS1 home from school has really helped, I have to be up and ready to play all the time etc.

And now the physical side of feeling crap is on it's way out at last, that is helping loads as well

Playingthe9monthwait · 30/07/2008 10:18

Morning all,

Been awol for a few days as work has been really busy and I have been feeling crap again. Not actually had the enthusiasm to MN . Have I missed anything? Whats everyone up to?

calsworld · 30/07/2008 10:18

Morning all, I'm absolutely shattered again today, soooooo need some extra sleep! I haven't got anything for lunch and our canteen is closed so think I'll go home for lunch, I'll have to try hard not to fall asleep.

I've booked my MW booking in appt, its on Mon 18th August and they've said to allow an hour. I'm sure it won't take that long when they realise I've already had one, but it would be nice if they did spend some time talking to me .

I'm looking forward to getting a scan booked so I can actually find out how far along I am - it would be nice to find out that I'm further along than I think I am but its doubtful. I was gutted first time round when they put DS' dates back by a week, kind of felt like I was 'doing' a week again, IYSWIM? This time around I understand more and that it was probably about late OV and all that, last time it was calculated on 28 days, OV on day 14 etc! Does anyone actually do that?

My boss has gone on holiday for 2.5 weeks and I'm really hoping that work will be a bit less stressful as a result, we get on well but she's very hectic and talks alot so looking forward to just being able to slog away and actually get some stuff done!

I'm rambling, sorry - NJ, are you sorted with those links or would you like more ideas?

C
