Hi again.

Set a thread going about fortune tellers, it's under the Philosophy/Religion/Spirituality section titled "Fortune Tellers / Clairvoyants - What are your experiences"

Off now to do tea (seriously this time!!) as long as I can face cooking the chicken breasts!

BTW - JM, are you okay?

Elf.

horseshoe · 11/02/2005 16:32

My B'day is on Wednesday 16th....I onyl want one thing

horseshoe · 11/02/2005 16:39

Whats FF?????

Hulababy · 11/02/2005 16:41

FF is a website - fertilityfriend.com It can be used to keep a record of temps, CM montitoring, etc and it will use that data to detect OV for you. Does it all on a little graph.

horseshoe · 11/02/2005 16:51

Thank you,

I have just tried to access it but the server is up the wall. Will def try again later.

Besides that is there any natural signs?

RudyDudy · 11/02/2005 17:45

I can't keep up with you lot! Just popped in to say hi and wish Hula a lovely birthday weekend and gather there are a few more birthdays looming - so happy birthday to you all and hope you all get lovely presents

lots of love and babydust to you all xxx

RudyDudy · 11/02/2005 17:47

horseshoe - haven't read all the thread but are you looking for natural signs of ov? If so, the best one is to monitor CM (cervical mucus) and to look out for when it is like Egg White (EWCM). This is the most fertile time in your cycle. This is what I monitored this month and we bd on the day I got EWCM and then twice 2 days later and it worked . My cycle was a bit all over the place and so neither persona nor the opks were working for me but this did. Good luck!

Hulababy · 11/02/2005 22:44

Aw, thanks Rudy.

OPK was negative today, but the line is getting stronger on the T bit - so I suspect OV time is soon. Typical - as I know we can'r tomorrow at all!

Natural signs of OV:

  • check CM - look for first watery CM, and then at most fertile time it should resemble egg white and be very stretchy.

  • also you can check cervix position. At OV time it should be very high and very soft, and you may feel it more open. I have never yet got the hang of this monitoring though!

  • sometimes people feel OV pains - like cramping at one side.

Hulababy · 12/02/2005 09:32

Morning all What witht he present opening, etc. I forgot to do temps this morning. On CD16 (I think) today but no chance of BD as staying at parents, with DD in same room. Oh well.

Any weekend testers?

triceratops · 12/02/2005 10:10

Good Morning Everyone
One day late so tested this morning and .............BFP+!

I'm jumping around with joy but I have just read Nikkis post { really sorry Nikki) so I am trying to keep a lid on things. This was our second cycle and I was sure that it hadn't worked this time as I have no symptoms. Last month I had the lot.

anyway here is some babydust everybody - especially those who have been trying for a long time.

hi all, (put dial up on comp so can pop in in tyhe evenings, althou not for long, cos it's tieing up the phone line - URGGHH i miss BB already! still DH will have to sort it out! lol)

Did a test today and low and behold was a BFN, it was a long shot but hey, still no AF yet. so we'll see.

how's everyone's W/E going?

runtus · 12/02/2005 18:50

Hello - I'm back!!!! God it feels like an age since we went to Oz and reading a quick snippet of the chat on here lately, I hardly know anyone anymore??!! Anyone I know still around or have you all gone off and gor pg while I had my back turned??

Holiday was fab but ina strange way glad to be back home - does that make me odd?? Had some news from the dr yesterday that made coming home even better - he has diagnosed PCOS!! I know it sounds weird me being pleased about that but at least now I have something to blame and I know there are things they can do. Have an appointment with the specialist in a week, so looking forward to seeing what he says. Anyone got any advice re PCOS?

triceratops · 12/02/2005 18:53

Wishing all mid cycle ladies EWCM , we can banish that evil aunty, I don't want to see her for at least a year.

mummygow · 12/02/2005 20:37

Congratulations tricertops!!

Happy Birthday Hulababy

MB - - maybe to soon!!

JM - are you o.k heres a hug (((hug)))

CD24 - dont think it will be this month !!!

expatinscotland · 12/02/2005 20:52

Congrats triceratops, and thanks for the sprinkle of baby dust

munnzieb · 13/02/2005 09:58

Rantus - you'll have to catch up hon, a lot of ppl got BFP!! - rudy did for one, tan's cut back on her posts, hesters comp's down, jedds is having a break, hula/I are still around, as is cockenzie (under a new name) I think that's the old lot?? feels like we've been here 4eva!

Well i've had light spotting this morning, (so am quite depressed, but also cheery, cos if we were PG the beanie would be due on the MIL's b'day (not that I worked it out or anything and I didn't fancy that!) besdies it means I can now go on the end of tour piss up, buy some nice new clothes and get completely pissed for the 3 weeks i'm off on my travels! lol. only 2 more cycles till DH is back! YAY!!!!! the aim - to get into my size 10 clothes and look stunning! I think i'm gonna stop talking to AF - do u think she'll stop coming if I stop talking to her?? lol, and another reason y it's good, is my freind's (also TTC) has just had some mega bad news - not sure what yet cos she didn't wanna talk over the phone - understandably, so I'd have felt like a right B*ch if we'd got the BFP. Roll on DH coming home! YAY!!!! will be home for good then (well till at least sept when he's away for 2 weeks but that's not long!)

JM - did u test honney?

Hulababy · 13/02/2005 15:08

Congratulations! triceratops

Thanks for birthday wishes. Had a lovely day Got lovely pressies too Oh, and put in an offer on a house as well!

CD17 today and OPK was negative. Howeever, I forgot to take one with me to my parents yesterday so no result from then And haven't temps for CD15-17 either (had nightmare nihght CD15, birthday yesterday and forgot, didn't take thermometer with me to parent's) so a bit cross about tha. Didn't get to BD anyway as DD inw ith us. OV in past for me has been any time between CD15 and CD18, so hoping it isn't too late but...

Hulababy · 13/02/2005 15:12

Oh, and hi Runtus. Glad you enjoyed you holiday

at possible AF munnzeib.

Just heard from MIL that someone I know (not well - DH's grandad's wife's grand-daughter) has just lost her baby. She was about 10 days overdue. Thought she hadn't felt baby move yesterday so went in but baby had died She has gone in today to be induced ready to give birth. Feel really rotten about it. The poor couple; I just can't imagine how they feel right now. I know BIL and SIL know them pretty well, so they must be very down today too. I want to send a card at least, ince we know baby has been born and named, but not sure what to write yet.

Hulababy · 13/02/2005 20:02

Where is everyone tonight?

velcrobott · 13/02/2005 20:06

I am here .... where is Jeddah? (generally speaking)

Hulababy · 13/02/2005 20:15

I think she is having time out from TTC and/or posting here.

Hulababy · 13/02/2005 20:18

At end of Jan she had a pretty unpleasant appointment with her GP (details on thread 17) and undersatndably was very upset - so she is having a break for a little while.

velcrobott · 13/02/2005 20:27

I totally understand... this is why I don't post on here all the time as it can be a bit too much sometimes.... I could become obsessed LOL
