OH Lobsterlass - So sorry to hear this

Hope you're ok, well as much as you can be. xx

JustJaamy · 21/07/2008 10:50

Lobsterlass - so very very sorry to hear this. I hope you are being looked after and taking it easy. Can you go to your GP to start the ball rolling for investigations? There may be a very simple explanation for your recurring CPs. Ei is going through something similar and has been referred.

Ei - seems that most of Liverpool were up at 4am last night - SA2 was flaoting around too. As I said, must be the weather! Hope you are ok.

LobstersLass · 21/07/2008 10:53

Well here's some good news...I've just come back from the GP. She was fabulous. I'm going for the usual scan and bloods tomorrow, BUT... she has referred me to a Consultant.

She's decided it's ridiculous to wait for this to happen again and seeing as I'm 35 then two miscarriages is quite enough.

What a terrific no-nonsense approach. Just my kind of woman! Hurrah for fabulous GPs.

QueenyEisGotTheBall · 21/07/2008 12:41

hi ladies
LL so sorry you are going through this again it is good news that your GP is taking you seriously and you will get you answers soon xx {{{{{{{huge hugs}}}}}}}}}
jaamy i had gotten waylaid watching ghost whisperer and couldnt sleep so that was why i was up so late i have my GP appointment to discuss my referral to the LWH tomorrow morning so hopefully i will get the ball rolling tomorrow after all this messing about!

Went to have the 21 day test, only I am no day 16. Am not sure what will come back. My cycle is all messed up. They arranged it for 17th July but then my period was about 5 days late so I rearranged it for 5 days later than the first appointment, but then I ovulated on day 11 of my cycle which is incredibly early.

I told the nurse all this and she says we'll just have to wait and see.

loustillwantsaBFPtoo · 22/07/2008 12:14

hello all,
LL - so sorry about the MC, for you.
Sorry you have to rejoin the list.

Beanie your cycle sounds as confusing as mine this month. Cant wait to get AF and get back to TTC!
I am on day 22 and still no peak!!?? think the HYCOSY scan has screwed my cycle up further. although i have ov'd day 23/24 before so it could just be that. Who knows, i need something to worry about as i cant worry about BFPs' this month!

to everyone else!
xx

daisyj · 22/07/2008 13:33

LL - so sorry for you, hon - didn't see your post yesterday when I posted. Heartening to hear good GP story, though - might still be bad luck rather than anything sinister, but good for you to know all possible will be done to stop it happening again. x

loustillwantsaBFPtoo · 22/07/2008 14:32

Just had GP call DH with results of semen test. Low count, and low motility. Feel so sad. everything just seemms insurmountable. I know we are better off than other peoples results, (at least there are some) but he has to repeat the test next week. Feel really wobbly now.

beanieb · 22/07/2008 15:52

Oh Lou, sorry to hear that. Am still waiting for my OH to go. Hopefully there are ways he can help his sperm along

daisyj · 22/07/2008 18:23

Oh, Lou . There must be something they can do to help things along. At least this means you'll be able to start taking action, but totally understandable that you're feeling .

louisfeelingblue · 22/07/2008 18:37

So I am sitting here with a Rudolph nose and shiny cheeks. changed my name for the mo - it reflects today!! Still me tho!
So today was not going great anyway (see earlier post) and then...
Just had a massive row with DH about TTC, and my attitude towards him, and the way i have been behaving recently.
Have only realised this afternoon that i have been going to work, coming home, and sitting on the couch.
Or seeing friends on days off, coming home and sitting on the couch. or just for a change, sitting on the couch... Are you seeing a pattern here?
The sad thing is that it took a massive row for me to actually realise that recently doing anything in the house, whether housework, DIY, cooking or doing creative stuff i love to do i have just been ignoring.
Its like everything I do is "without the baby". I feel like i should have a six month old with me, and because i dont, nothing seems worthwhile. So - I don't do it!
Does that make sense to anyone, or am i just a lazy slattern?

So, now all is calm Chez Lou again, I am going to stop putting on a front to the outside world, and try to start doing things realistically.
Sorry about that rant, it's just that all my RL friends are AWOL on holiday or busy at the mo, and i feel like you guys know things about me i wouldnt tell some of them anyway!
If I hadn't let it out i would have exploded...

louisfeelingblue · 22/07/2008 18:40

hope you are all okay BTW!?
(clears throat) MEmememememememeeeeeee!

xxxxxx

JustJaamy · 22/07/2008 19:28

Lou - so sorry you are having a bad time. You are entitled to have a rant (though I thgouth it very tame) !!

Now you have DH's results back, action can be taken. You have gotten pg before so you know that DH's swimmers can do the job. I can only imagine the pain you are experiencing after your M/C and I know so many (including me) who have put their life on hold until they have that little bundle in their arms. But now you have been shocked into the realisation that perhaps it is starting to have a detrimental effect on your life. And you have decided to do something about that - positive action, definitely!

About your cycle - if we all had regular predictable cycles, none of us would be here and you'd be ranting away to yourself! Our bodies are wonderful but very frustrating

  • just when you think you've got it sussed something weird happens. Hopefully your blood results will come back ok and you can tick one variable off your list.

Please have a 'rant' here any time you want. Take care x

LL - so glad you have a sensible GP. Hope things get sorted for you.

To test or not to test...that is the question. CD 43, no sign of AF. Am I just keeping Boots in business by testing a couple of time a week? Have I had an early menopause . If I was pg, wouldn't I have had a BFP by now? Going slightly mad!

zen1980 · 22/07/2008 20:33

LL - so sorry to hear this but at least your doc is very encouraging!

Dawn congrats on your BFP!! hopefully you will pass the baby dust to the rest of us.

Don't know if anyone has had any similarities with my symtoms at the moment, but I am on CD 16 (usually 30-34) and just for fun BD sat and sun just gone, then towards last night and this morning have been bleeding but more than seems an implantation bleed(or so I have read). I havent bothered with ov tests so far but have roughly worked out need to be BD this week through to next to be safe! Any ideas? Really confused now x

Another BFN...arghhhh!

louisfeelingblue · 23/07/2008 11:21

Oh Jaamy - I had a 45 day cycle two months ago, and then a truly horrible AF. Like my body was having a good clear out. Maybe this is what is going on with you?
I did loads of tests and had BFN after BFN. Im feeling for you! Hope something happens soon, its the frustation of "just wanting to get on with it" with stupid long cycles. xxxx

Thanks for your lovely support yesterday BTW, it really helped xxxx

JustJaamy · 23/07/2008 12:20

Thanks Lou, deep down, I don't think I'm pg, but then it took 7 weeks for DD1 to show up on GP test (I thought I'd caught a virus!).

Just would like to know one way or the other. I'm at a hen party at the weekend and don't want to risk a pickled bean.

I hope I helped a bit yesterday. It's so easy to say, "Everything will be ok." when it isn't always. BUT hopefully you are on the way to sorting things out. x
