I'm afraid to say I'll be here for a long time yet though . Not that you ladies aren't lovely .

DH has been told he hasn't any sperm. No idea why. We've been referred to our local infertility clinic (to see a gynaecologist of all people) and I guess that will start us on the assisted conception rollercoaster.

I'm not looking forward to it to be honest. Since getting the results of DHs sperm tests, I've been hoping that the cause is a blockage that could be operated on, but it turns out it could have been caused by the high strength epilepsy tablets he took as a teenager (apparently very toxic and they cause a degeneration of the seminiferous tubules and germ cells).

I hope this is your month Queeny. No more CPs please! Is your GP investigating the cause of them?

wel it's official - pissed on an ovulation test and I AM ovulating 6 days earlier than normal. Weird.

my GP is finally agreeing to refer me after alot of to-ing and fro-ing (i had a rant a few posts ago about it) i have an appointment to discuss the referral on tuesday morning so i will hopefully be a step further on by then. thanks for asking especially as you have your own things to be worrying about. you are lovely

I have had my second peak today. Am worrying that me and my OH are just not having sex at the right time. He's knackered and I think the likelyhood of going again tonight is very slim and so I am worried I will miss it. All very well going like rabbits during the peak and the lead up to it but once the peak is over we are often too tired.

I had my transvaginal scan yesterday to check if I'm about to ov which I am so thats good although the scan lady seems to think i'm border pcos whic hasn't been picked up before

But doc has booked me and dh in tomorrow for the insemination so fingers crossed.

Still no sign of anything. Getting a bit pee'd off. Have a hen party to go to next weekend and it would be nice to know one way or the other so I can let my hair down (or not). Will test again tomorrow (CD40). Boobs have grown a bit but then they would do that before AF anyway.

not even this morning.

Fertility friend suggests I ovulated yesterday (17th), we last had sex on Wednesday night(16th). Yesterday evening I did and OPK and no second line. Tonight we will for sure but once again I think we've missed it. I am finding it really hard to have sex on both peaks and the highs.I know sperm can live upto 5 days, and your egg for 36 hours but if I did ovulate yesterday I am pretty sure sex tonight isn't going to be enough.

Oh, beanie, it's so hard to tell what's going on, isn't it, and to time things right. If it's any consolation, a friend of mine with a three-month-old bd'd two days after AF ended (and they only did it that one time that month) and caught a bean! Bodies have such mysterious ways... (oh, and it took us 9 or 10 months the first time round - felt like for ever, so I know how you feel).

blackrock - I wish I was some help on FF but with my irregular cycles there's just no point in even trying. I'm sure that some of the FF experts on this thread will be able to advise.

Hi everyone, still here, hopefully will be lucky and get lucky this month

BFN this morning CD30. I gave in and tested as have been feeling anxious - as much about BFP as BFN, if that makes sense! Also, saw my dream job advertised on Friday and feel I must apply, but no point if pg, obviously! I wasn't looking for a job, as I really like where I am now and they were amazing after mc, so feel like a traitor, but the kind of position I'm after is like gold dust, they only come up once every couple of years, and competition is fierce. Can't put life entirely on hold...

MollieM let us know how the scan goes - I'm sure it'll put your mind at rest .

ARghhhhhh! BFN on Sat (CD40). Ei - I have no idea! What is going on???????

Did car boot today. Got rid of a lot of DDs' clothes that I have been keeping (just in case) and . So am bound to get pg with a girl, now Had a bit of a wobbly moment on Sat when I was packing them into the car which made me think that AF is on the way. Until DH told me that I've been emotional pretty much for the past fortnight!

beanie - seems I'm not the pnly one who's cycle has gone potty! Is it the weather or what?

Mollie - glad you are ok. Hope scan puts your mind to rest. Please hang around as long as you like.

Daisyj - go for the job...you'll get it and probab;y get pg in the same week...sod's law (although quite a nice sod's law!). I put off going for new jobs for nearly 4 years while TTC DD1. Only really just catching up now. (DD1 is 4.6yo). Go for it and Good Luck!

Welcome sars! DD1 was a clomid babe. Only took us 2 months after 3.5 years of trying.
