God - I am crap at this charting. Right just realised that I am actually on day 13 today not day 11. Seems I can't actually count consectutive numbers...ran out of fingers, what can I say!?

So I'm: Cycle 1, Day 13, TTC#1

Oh, and am just realising that this TTC is already turning me into a sex-crazed lunatic! Last night my workaholic DH was too tired to BD. So, being the thoughtful adult that I am...I sulked. He does not know this, I was subtle. Poor man may be knackered after a long day...but I can see I'm going to have to be more seductive. Has anyone else had this or do I have the only non-sex obsessed husband in Britain?!

I am now 19 weeks and the wee monkey has started squirming and kicking me which I have to say I am not enjoying - hopefully I'll get used to it soon or I'll be a quivering wreck !

Well, another BFN for me (CD39), that makes 4 this month, when will I finally accept that I'm just not pregnant? I'm officially banning myself from testing again this cycle, will just have to wait for AF to arrive (whenever that may be).

Hope the dreaded AF catches up with you soon so you can move on to lucky month 5! Just think, if you get PG in the next few months, then little pip will be born in time for walks in the park in Spring and Summer 09!

Hello Ladies! Just back from a lovely holiday and what do I spy? Not only a spanking new thread but some fabulous BFPs have appeared while I've been away.

Huge congrats to Emma, molliemooma (particluarly chuffed for you sweetie!), Hopingcat and Lobsterlass. . Here's to a happy pg and happy March(?) babes.

TEW is due today and no sign, though have been crampy on and off for the last few weeks. Might just be the after effects of a Spanish diet . We did BD an awful lot on hols (hallelujah for Kids clubs!) but am not getting excited since cycles have been so erratic since CP in March.

Am off to catch up with new thread. Hope everyone is doing ok. x

Sorry pinkpip.. sounds like we were in the same boat.Eventually my AF arrived and I can start again. You will get there stay positive hun. Its the worst thing to keep yourself from testing again isnt it? Fingers crossed for you anyway!! grin and fingers crossed for the rest of us x

My period is weird! After being almost a week late I have had two really heavy days and now day three it's really light. Also had actual real period pains yesterday!

Hi all,
Beanie I've been the same this month...I was really heavy on CD1 and since then I've just been spotting old blood for 6 days. My 'normal' AF is usually 5 days of regular bleeding. Maybe it's this yukky Cardiff weather?

Sparkly - perhaps it is, perhaps it's something in the water.

Looking back at my cycle on fertility friend my last two periods have been wuite light and short, maybe 2 days heavy and then a couple of medium to light. I seem to be getting old blood too now. This is really different to how my periods were before - sometimes 5 days very heavy bleeding!

My OH suggested that maybe I am only just getting the pill out of my system but I am not sure. I came off the mini-pill in October.

Tomorrow he has his Doctor's appointment RE his sperm

Mollie - ooooh, I would love to join you the other lovely ladies on the March 09 AN thread. Am resisting testing until CD36 since AF has varied from 21 to 35 days these last 6 months. No symptoms today of either AF or PG.

Hello to the Cardiff ladies - sparkly and beanie. Surely the weather there hasn't been any worse than up here in Sunny Liverpool!

And "hi" to all the new ladies that I haven't 'met' yet. Hope your stay on this thread is short but sweet.

Josie - DD1 was a clomid babe, didn't need any help with DD2 but was wondering about trying to get help this time round since we're approaching cycle12 so will be very upset if it's true that you can only get clomid once on NHS. Perhaps there's some medical reason for that or is it just down to cost? I was also having reflexology when I conceived DD1 so maybe that will help. Plus it's ultra relaxing! Anyway, just really wanted to let you know that just because you needed clomid with #1 you might not need it for #2.

hello - i'm off for my scan tomorrow, bit apprehensive, but the lady i spoke to from the x ray dept was lovely and made me feel much better.
Here's hoping my tubes are free flowing and fertile!

Hello ladies, big congrats to the bfp's, great news
I had another 28day cycle this month, so definitely think that is down to the acupuncture, never had a 28 day cycle and now two in a row. And we are finally over all the waiting periods following my vaccinations and blood tests so should be good to go next week when I hopefully ovulate
Can't remember who asked about reflexology but I'm a big fan, it's very relaxing and I think it helped me during dd2's pregnancy.

Blackrock - Hope you are a bit more cheery today. Don't apologise for feeling down. It's so difficult when it seems like everyone else has what you want. I have a lot of pg friends at the moment too. Came back from hols and spoke to 3 of them to ask how they were doing. Nearly the first words out of each of their mouths were "we're having a girl". Yep, all 3 are due within a week of each other and they're all having girls. While I am delighted for them I can't help thinking, when will it be my turn? Getting a bit bitter in my old age!

Hope everyone else is ok.

Have requested a HPT form DH when he does the shopping later. Might test over the weekend, but then again, I might not...we'll see.

My OH is going to see teh doc today - to ask for a sperm test. Anyone know what happens in this first appointment? Do they ask for all sorts of sexual health history? Do they get him to do it there and then?

Beanie My DP is meant to be going too. I think they will give him a tub and a date to provide a sample to the hospital. I think the sample needs to be in the hospital within an hour of it being 'done'. I might be wrong though.

thanks Sparkly. I have read he has to abstain for 2 days? Also thinking should he not do it at the weekend when he's likely to have had a drink?

Am a bit scared because if it comes back with 'problems' then I am not sure how he is going to feel, and if it doesn't I am not sure how I am going to feel

He will have to abstain but I think he should just carry on with his lifestyle as normal so you get a 'true' reading.
The not knowing is always daunting but at least you can move forward when you get the results. Is your DP taking zinc? My Dp started it this week.

He doesn't take anything apart from an occassional Multi-vitamin.

I am the one attempting to change my lifestyle and this is his first step really - getting the sperm test. If the results are bad then it takes some pressure off me but I hope it would encourage him to make some changes too.
