Shayer Hope you had a fabulous birthday hun, I feel the same as you and Migola I understand totally being "off" about TTC, it all seems so contrived and not natural anymore, and even when you get a bit of passion it's always in the back of your mind whether or not that was "the time" What a nightmare!
Well AF is still here, nothing like outstaying your welcome! I know I'm not going to TTC until after the consultants appt in December but really she could leave now!

Had the same thought at the same moment ClairedeLoon... just adding myself to the top for cycle 17. Really never thought I would get this far...really thought it would've happened by now, especially as all is meant to be well.

Blackrock Not sure if this is any consolation or not considering my history but it took us 2 yrs to conceive first time, OK I know it ended in m/c but since then I've been Fertile Frieda and fallen pg 3 times in 9mths, it's almost like something got kickstarted after the first time. I know none have ended successfully but the conceiving part seems to have worked itself out after a long wait!

Mollie i have thought about you and have followed the thread enough for an indication of what has been happening. Really hope you get further...is it being investigated? A dear friend had similar events and they did find an issue that they could resolve and she has more than one child now.

It took us over a year for DS1 to begin the journey. I am feeling very lucky that he did and that we have him. Lots of friends have had babies this year and another group all imminent, so guess it keeps hitting the top of my thoughts.

Blackrock Sorry didn't realise you have DS already thought was the first (that'll teach me for not checking on the list first before waffling) That probably does make it harder for you as you know you can do it, but it's just not happening a second time. so frustrating for you
I have an appointment with the consultant in Dec, not holding out much hope of answers. Our first appt was in Sept we only found out a few days before that we were pg again for the 3rd time 5 wks after 2nd mm/c so slightly in shock, and they just dismissed us. When it became clear the pg was not viable we were put to the back of the queue, cheeky buggers! They will regret that because I know have a mountain of info I've printed out and lists of questions to bombard them with!
Keep your chin up and try to remain positive hun, although I know it's so hard x

The girl I know had a blood clotting factor missing. Blood clotting is a very complex process with lots of stages. One of these stages was causing the miscarriage each time she conceived. She had several miscarriages. She had treatment throughout her pregnancy once they discovered this and had success. I hope they do investigate thoroughly for you.

Claire Yes I was "lucky" to get referred after 2nd mm/c as I'm over 35, although little did I know the third would follow so soon! I hope we can get some answers but I am also preparing myself that it might be reasons unknown or just bad luck, as that seems rather common too. If they could identify and fix something would be fantastic

Hi Mollie - I'm fine! Went to my first rerflexology appointment today and cried am feeling a little emotional at the moment anyway but I think I realised I just don't give myself time to relax about anything and so being in a room on my own (essentially) with the music and the feet just made me a bit weepy. She said I was breathing from the wrong place and told me to try breathing from my stomach.

I think it'll be good for me in so many ways.

Hello everyone...sorry been absent for a while but been dipping my sticks for the last week or so and no sign of OV . Trying to stay positive. Hope my cycle buddies are having better luck.

Another good friend is pg after deciding that they weren't going to have any more DCs. So a bit of a shock for her and I know she was worried telling me but am still . Just approaching due date of mc in March so . Hormones all over the place still from last mc which doesn't help.

Mollie - I'm so hoping for you that you get a reason for the mcs and that it can be fixed easily.

Beanie - isn't reflexology fab? Even from the point of view that it makes you relax for a while. Hope it gives you other benefits also. It often made me weepy too. If I could afford it I'd def book some appointments.

Claire - spotting mid cycle???? Keeping things crossed for you. We need some good news...no pressure!!

Shayera - It's so difficult to stay positive. Maybe you did good to take the sex thing easy this month. You'll be raring to go next time Then again, once is all it takes or so someone who has absolutely no idea (probably a man!) said! Happy belated birthday...31 I rememeber it well...
