I have just been honest about number two, people don't ask again unless you bring it up in conversation. It probably makes people a little uncomforatble, but it makes them think. Hope this is helpful.

I had this too before DS came along as we lived in a four bedroomed house...for several years after moving out of a one bedroomed flat.... just the two of us! lol

think you just need to smile and say something non-commital like 'well we're hoping for kids in the future'

It is tough, specially when you've been trying as long as you and I. I don't want to tell everyone 'I'm freaking out' but I don't want to have to act like I really don't care when because really I am silently freaking out.

Confide in those who you love the most and just fob the other people off. 7 cycles is not that long and I am sure it will happen for you and fingers crossed it will happen to me too.

Back to the top for me, af arrived over night . Oh well, at least it drag on any longer, frustrating to say the least though with my last 2 cycles being 28days and this one being 34days

Thanks blackrock and beanie - think I'll employ the first tactic for friends and the second for work!

We'll get there beanie - Am confidently reassured by plenty of people that I shouldn't make a fuss until its been a year or so! Not so helpful when having a down day, but when I think it took my mum 5 years to have me it puts the small amount of time I've been at this in perspective!

BTW, mother-in-law told me that for every year you were on the pill you should allow a month for your body to get back to normal - anyone else heard that one? It was new to me.

[Sparkly] I have only managed to stay offline for a week and hadn't read through the thread. Great news!

Oh my goodness. Just been to the loo and had so much EWCM I was shocked. My fertility monitor said 'high' this morning but I'll do an Ovulation test this evening to see what happens. Only CD 12 and I usually ovulate around CD 15/16 (apart from Last month when it was CD11!) so maybe my body is finally starting to sort itself out? My luteal phase seems to be lengthening so that's all good.

I have pre-seed, I'm eating well, Drinking more water, cutting back on the drink, not having any sneaky fags at all and am even excercising... Maybe just maybe this will be my month?

Hi guys,
i've not been on for a while, af came early this month 5 days early. Hopefully this is a sign things are going back to normal. Had to have a smear this morning, so am very positive this month that this month will be ours. Ive got my ovulation kits ready but wondered if anyone could advise when to start using as i have had cycle between 30-34 days? Fingers crossed anyway x

Shayera at your insensitive friends!! It really annoys me when people start asking such a question as though you can just pop to the shops and buy a baby. I think you've been given some good advice on how to deal with it. Sending lots of baby dust your way.

Zen Lots of luck to you. I used to start my OPKs on day 14 of a 28-35 day cycle and usually ovulate on CD16. HTH.

Have had a month of erratic temping Sparkly.

My Temp is usually 35.8, it peaked on day seven 36.4 and then again on day 15. This is similar pattern to last month. I have had such a bad back ,that have given BD a rest. Have a physio app on Monday, hopefully this will help! Will post it when I have filled it in more reliably. Thanks Sparkly.

Saz, Scully and Shayera - sorry last month wasn't the one for you. Hoping there'll be good news for you soon.

How are you doing Glasto? Shayera - some people do honestly think that having a baby is just a case of having unprotected sex. I like to think that the harder we try, the more perfect a baby we will get. Though all babies are lovely, of course
