LB - I had a problem with my double glazed windows after installation and soooo wish someone had told me about the protection the finance company offers sooner. After involving them all the panes of glass in my house were replaced! Hurrah for finance in this instance!

LB, fully sympathise with feeling nauseous, sometimes I thought it was better to just be sick coz at least then I felt better for a short time afterwards! Hopefully it will ease after 12 weeks .

Well, I'm now at CD25 and AF could be due anytime from Monday onwards , although with suspected OV only yesterday I doubt it will be Monday.

Can we have an update on who's where re TTC e.g. CD / DPO / Test date etc...

Gruffalo- testing 10th July, 14dpo
GYo- testing 10th July, 14 dpo (might wait til 12th)
Glaskham- testing 11th July, 12dpo (AF due 13th)
Calsworld - CD25 today, testing ?? suggestions please!

Everyone else??
LBOT?
HBJB?

lardybump · 04/07/2008 18:21

Cals I think that as you OV'd late this month then you will have to test later... CD34 or in 10 days time which will be 14th July....

Oh wise wagoners, 14th July it is!

HBJB, DH rang me as he was leaving office tonight;

DH: have you thought about dinner tonight?
Me: yes, have decided that either you will cook or we will have takeaway as I'm not cooking
DH: oh,
Me: What were you thinking?
DH: Well, was thinking about doing chicken fajitas, but as you would like curry lets have that tonight and I'll do fajita tomorrow

now I don't have to cook for two nights in a row!

He always wants something spicy to eat - if its not chilli flavoured, he adds it, even his version of tuna mayo has paprika in it! Too predictable,

So, next question is which curry? Had a biryani last time and was v disappointed... maybe just a korma after my upset tummy from last week . Peshwari all round is a given!

calsworld · 04/07/2008 19:12

You know what, DH has just taken DS up to do bedtime routine, and am sat on sofa with patio doors open and sun streaming in, birds chirping, kids playing in distance, wind blowing through trees, CAN OF CIDER IN HAND!

I feel like its the first time I've stopped all week and it feels good

Cosmogirl · 04/07/2008 19:16

We are having chicken fajitas tonight. DH just cooking them on the BBQ. Yum.....

Also, we had takeaway Indian last night. I had chicken pasanda, which was very tasty.

The list makes it all seem so real somehow....exciting/scary

morning ladies
i am 12 wks today ye

how many wks r everyone else?

off to the wedding @ 12:50pm

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 05/07/2008 09:06

Morning

DH and DS1 have taken the car in, we'll see what comes of it before getting too excited methinks!

Welcome to Dinky

I am 14 weeks today Tink You asked the other day if I was feeling movements, and I forgot to reply! I think I am, sometimes I am deffo sure it is the baby, other times I think it isn't! I didn't feel him moving when I could see him moving on the scan, so obviously not feeling every movement by any means, just get the odd flutter and I think yep that was the baby! You'd think I'd know the difference between baby movements and any other feeling wouldn't you?!!! It is quite strange after DS2 though, I was feeling definate movements with him from about 8 weeks, I remember at 16 weeks I hadn't felt him move for over 24 hours, went to labour ward to get monitored and all the midwives were like "you can't possibly be feeling his movement's at 16 weeks" well I knew when he moved once the monitor was on! (Little bugger, 5 mins into the monitoring got him jigging about like my DH when drunk! LOL)

Ahhhh drunk, now there's an idea!!!

Ses15 · 05/07/2008 09:28

Morning all!

NJ - Hope your car situation finally gets sorted. Can't believe you've been sold a car like that!!!

Re testing, you can add me to the list if you like (sorry can't work out how to c&p) as I'll be testing Monday. Don't forget though I'm looking for a BFN!!!

We're off to a wedding reception tonight too. A friend of mine from work is having her civil partnership with her girlfriend today so we're partying the night away in Brighton

In the meantime we have a potentially v good and interesting situation progressing with our house move. Last wkend we found another house we like and it now transpires that the vendor is interested in our house and is coming round this afternoon for a viewing!!! That would be sooo fantastic if that worked out!!!

Ooh! Also... Found out yesterday that I got the job I wanted and I start a week on Monday!!!! Maybe things are starting to go right for us The job is that of an Area Pharmacy Manager with 19 stores [gulp]!

My life really does feel like a rollercoaster this year!! Just glad to be now on more of a positive track Maybe that means AF will arrive soon and then we'll start ttc and will be pg first month.....????
[Ses drifts away into a daydream]

Cosmogirl · 05/07/2008 09:54

Morning all,

Congrats on job Ses - fab news! Hope you have a good time at the weddings/receptions today. Weather is miserable here today - am on my laptop in bed still.

Right quick 'dim' question. We have had GOFs CD 9, 10, 11, etc and plan to carry on up to ov...now, those sperm that get through and survive, do they all swim up to the womb and just sit there waiting for the egg to drop? When it drops do all those sperm just go for it and try and reach the egg? Thus, it could be a sperm from the CD9 bonk that breaks the egg?......Or, could be the CD14 lot? [told you it was a stupid q] I am just intrigued as to what could be going on inside right now. Feel a bit crampy today which might be ov pain starting.

tinkspregnantwithnumber2 · 05/07/2008 10:09

i am with you nat on movement sometimes i am sure it is i do have awful wind @ the mo too.

lardybump · 05/07/2008 10:39

DP an I have had another bust up again this morning. He feels it is ok to talk to me like shit and shout and threaten me when ever he feels like it. He has taken dd out now and when he left he said he is not coming back tonight (I don?t care about him not coming back but he has dd and I have not been away from her since she was born.

Today it was over the state of the house (it has got on top of me but I work 28 hours a week, in addition to being the main child care for dd and I am pg). He said I was fat and ugly and would never find anyone else to be with. He also said that he has women chasing him all the time and that the chasing may stop.... He said that I am a crap mother and that no one would leave dd in my care if we split up because I have mental problems (I don?t maybe a few hormones at the moment but nothing more.) He also says that he would get everyone to back him up saying that I am a bad mum so that if we split up dd would be put in his care.

I don?t know where to start. I am so upset I feel like shit. I don?t know what to do, I own half the house and all bills are in both names. He would not let me leave with dd either I know that for a fact. I am trapped and I have bought a beautiful little girl into the middle of what is turning out to be a loveless nasty relationship.

I don?t want to bring everyone down so I am going to go AWOL for a while. I need to think about my options and decide what to do.

OP posts:
Teuch · 05/07/2008 10:39

hullo all!

I was getting loads of movement but now I am getting hardly any I wondered if it was just because uterus was still a bit squashed and now ther is more space/different position?

Cosmo - the sperm go all the way up the fallopian tubes and that is where conception occurs. Apparently (here comes the science!) they make their way up there, nestle down in the tiny fibres (or suchlike) where they can survive and then when ovulation occurs they are 'set free' to race to the egg I assume if you have ovulated already then they just meet it on the road, so to speak. Then fertilised egg makes way down tube to uterus which can take a week or more.

Hope that helps! I remember NJ having a great link on the very first thread but I can't find it just now...

Heebeejeebee · 05/07/2008 10:41

Morning all

Cal - in fact all DH came home and said he was cooking so all I had to do was dump bagged salad and cherry toms in a bowl make exciting salad side dish...

Cosmo - as I understand it (well if my reading of Zita West is correct!) they will live for up to 72 hours (I guess depending on you EWCM). Not sure what they do

Well I have acupuncture in about half an hour, so I ought to go and eat something..

Enjoy your days all! Hope the car comes back Nat!

Teuch · 05/07/2008 10:43

Lardy Don't go - we are here to support you. If you don't want to discuss on here then we can have another thread. We can't help if you are not here.

That is an appalling way to speak to anyone. You need to know that you are not deserving of that treatment and that you are not trapped. There are options, but the heat of the moment is not the right time to try and think them through.

Can you arrange for him to drop DD with someone you trust later?

Ses15 · 05/07/2008 10:48

LB - I agree with Teuch. Don't go. Your DP sounds like he is being abusive and if we can help by listening / advice then please stay. It certainly sounds like you need to try and talk to him about your relationship and his behaviour so that you can think about your options. Thinking of you.....
