So, what does everyone have planned for the weekend then?

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 04/07/2008 12:11

Grrrrrr still waiting for the fuckers to pick the car up, they are only 2 and a half hours late at the moment..... I can't even nip into town till they've been, and by the looks of it, if they leave it much longer we won't even have the car back today, so we will be car-less all weekend....

GYo, not sure how I became the list do-er, I am so not a list person! In fact think it's Diege's fault (), she can't C&P (even though I've told her how to do it I don't know how many times!!! LOL) so I did it a couple of times, and now everyone thinks it's 'mine'!

When to test? T'is always the burning question.... I say if you can face the BFN's, and can afford it, test test test from 10DPO. If you can't face the BFN's then wait at least till your period is due.

Playingthe9monthwait · 04/07/2008 12:14

I really hope you get the car sorted out Nat.

I think you are probably right about testing. No testing before 10dpo and then test as much as you want after that if you can face it, if not wait till AF is due.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 04/07/2008 12:23

Hiya MKG I left a message for you on your AN club!! Huge Congrats sweetie, I am soooo pleased for you (And crossing fingers that at 7 months pregnant you will be uncomfortable enough to spend your nights talking to me and the rest of us, about a labour that lasted farrrrrrrrr too long?!!! Pleaseeeee? )

I think I might actually make up a 9 week long labour if it doesn't happen! LOL

GruffaloSoldier · 04/07/2008 12:23

On Saturday I am going to a hen nite, on a party bus round London.

I will enjoy it but we are not due back til 4am !

Am supposed to be studying Sunday but will probably spend it recovering! Although I won't be drinking.

Looking forward to spending an evening in with DH tonight (after my step aerobics class)He was on a night shift last night so havent seen him since yesterday morning!

GYo · 04/07/2008 12:23

Your car sounds a night mare Nat, hate waiting in for other people. Can guarantee the second you do soemthing else like go to loo, they will ring the bell...

LOL re the lists... dont really think it matters much

tinkspregnantwithnumber2 · 04/07/2008 12:23

lbof could be implantation i had spotting 9dpo-11dpo good luck
good luck with car nat

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 04/07/2008 12:24

Tink, I had about 2 weeks-ish last month, where I was sooo down in the dumps about everything and nothing. Still even now am not my normal 'happy' self, but no where near as down as I was.

Might be worth talking to your MW/GP if you think it is more than just hormonal?

Diege · 04/07/2008 12:26

for you Nat about the car - it's so predicatable in't it? LOL about the list - er yes, the old 'learned helplessness' thing is always good when trying to avoid doing things .
Think the test list is an excellent idea. I remember we had one for me, Sorky and Moos (someone else too?), although Sorky and I did give in and test 2 days early! May well have been a week early though without the list.
Well my Isabella Oliver dress arrived today, and I'm very pleased with it. Should be just the thing for work/smart Xmas do's etc...
Right, off to sport's day no.2...
Bye!

GYo · 04/07/2008 12:27

I am spending w/e blowing nose and stripping walls.

might try and escape shopping if i can too.

Your w/e sound exciting Gruffalo, quite impressed, I can barely make it past 10pm these days

What are you doing Playing- other than more testing

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 04/07/2008 12:27

GYo, see the 'bell ringing' is my problem, we have a porch built onto the outside of the house, there is a bell there but it doesn't work (batteries run out within hours of putting new ones in, even when it isn't bloody pressed) and barely anyone has the brains to work out that if they knock on the porch door, we can't hear them from in here! So I am constantly up and down to look to see if anyone is there, it's a PITA!

tinkspregnantwithnumber2 · 04/07/2008 12:28

thanks nat i will keep an eye on it

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 04/07/2008 12:31

Diege, so do you mean to tell me that you do know how to C&P????? After all this time????? I feel cheated.....

I am seriously going to tell them off whenever they bloody arrive for the car, Arnold Clark have had over £25,000 worth of business out of us in the last two years (we got our old car from there as well) and this is how they thank us? I mean, I'm not expecting a red carpet laid out for us, but jeez, to pick a car up when they say they will isn't asking to much is it? Or in fact to not sell us an illegal car would have been a good place to start!

GYo · 04/07/2008 12:31

Nat, I have exactly the same issue here. Our bell doesnt work and though i put note to invite postie etc to come through porch and knock on main door, they never do.

I spend a lot of time imagining car doors slamming/ engines when im waiting for someone!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 04/07/2008 12:33

Yep that is me today GYo, I swear I can hear cars coming from miles away!!

MKG · 04/07/2008 12:33
NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 04/07/2008 12:35

LMAO, I think Lulu would have my guts for garters! I'm not sure even I could cope with a 6 month labour thread! LOL

Cosmogirl · 04/07/2008 12:50

Hi all,

Nat - weather here is pretty sunny and nice but nowhere near as hot as Spain. It was 38 degrees in the shade some days!! I am freckly, pale and Irish looking so don't do too well in the heat.

Hope BB is doing OK. Have not seen her around in ages.

We are still on hols so two gofs today already! Think should OV next week...so will add myself to the testing list when I think I know I have ov'ed.

Not surprised that you can't concentrate Playing - think my head will be full and spinning when/if I get a BFP. So much to get your head around.

If we are super lucky and catch this month, would make it an April baby and we have always wanted an April baby. Would all be a bit too perfect, so totally expecting not to succeed this time.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 04/07/2008 12:59

Hiya Cosmo

Yeah it is sunny here now, but when I posted that earlier it was very dark and rainy! Had seen they are having a bit of a heatwave in Spain Looks like the weekend is going to be awful

Cosmogirl · 04/07/2008 13:02

Hey Nat, oh typical rubbish weekend weather. Am trying to work my way through all the holiday washing while the sun is shining. Yep, Spain is super-duper hot. I got completely munched on by mozzies the second to last night and have about 11 of the itchy blighters on my feet and legs - owwww.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 04/07/2008 13:08

Actually looking at the latest weather report, it isn't just looking rubbish, looks like a big storm system coming over, I love the freaky weather (yes I am strange!), just wish we'd have more sun in between!

Yuk at mozzie bites, I don't think they like me, can only ever remember getting one bite and that was bad enough! Poor you

calsworld · 04/07/2008 13:15

Pants to poor weather at the weekend, I'd really like to be outside with DS , he loves being outside!

He splashed through a puddle in his sandals for the first time this week, he was quite surprised and puddled puzzled about it, very funny! Then he went and put his hand in and licked it - eeeeuuuugggghhhhh!

I'm thinking drinking puddles is probably going to be the least yucky thing he does!

I am so bogged down at work I've given up...it doesn't matter how hard I work, I can't get rid of any of it and I'm just getting further and further behind.

Beer will be required this weekend (well, a couple of cans of scrumpy cider maybe) .

Is Kay on holiday? She's been absent a while and am starting to get concerned now...

Cosmogirl · 04/07/2008 13:18

Oh cider sounds good Cals..I strawberry and pear flavour. Should really start being healthy now I am back from hols, but think I might start on Monday morning instead .
