haha!! dedication.... on tuesday evening DH said to me... 'you cant be in bed ill all day and then just feel horny for no reason.... what do you know that i dont??' i didn't tell him it was becasue i needed his little swimmers!!!

and if you go by LMP date then by time you've got booked in (probs about a week to wait i'm sure) you'll be about 6 wks i suppose???

Playingthe9monthwait · 03/07/2008 11:02

Well I'm gonan mull it over this weekend. Do a few more tests to verify the result, then decide whether I should ring them on Monday or wait a while.

Diege · 03/07/2008 11:04

OMG PLAYING Congratulations!!!!! That is amazing news!!! LOL at your dh, mine was just the same sayting he felt 'cheated' as I told him it would take at least 5 months . How exciting for you; you're at the start of a wonderful adventure (get those lie-ins in now ).
Sorry to hear you're feeling poorly Glaskham, though lol at you not letting it stop yopur gof-ing!
Nat, just being nosy but why are you 'banning' real coffee? Just curious as I'm still having 2 cups or so a day, going off NHS guidelines of no more than 3. In fact, I need my second cup now...dh and his bleedin' snoring .
Right back to the marking - you are right Cals, there's something quite depressing about marking 417 scripts that all look answer the same questions!

Diege · 03/07/2008 11:06

Due date please Playing!!!!

glaskham · 03/07/2008 11:14

Men like the idea of months of having you on a plate!! me and DH have 'realistically' planned for 3-6mths of ttc... i dont know if the amount of painkillers i took over the last few days will affect anything this cycle, but now i'm in the 2ww then i'll be extra careful... glad i'm over it really...

i'm so glad i dont drink tea or coffee, i rarely have a cup of tea, and when i do its only to dunk crunch creams into!! i drink tons of juices each day, and after i go to the loo i always have half a cup of water aswell, dont know why, just got into routine i think!!

glaskham · 03/07/2008 11:15

right i'm off to make lunch and sort ds out for the nursery run!!

will be on later i'm sure!! cant keep me away now i'm better!!

Playingthe9monthwait · 03/07/2008 11:47

Hi Deige - Well, simply going by CD1 as being 30th May then that makes EDD: 6/3 but allowing for a longer cycle probably more like the 12th March. Not exactly sure when I ov'd, think it might have been earlier than I thought as my BFPs were quite easy to read not faint and I was expecting AF today so that can't be right. Maybe I'll just take a date in the middle and say the 9th!

Playingthe9monthwait · 03/07/2008 11:53

Well I've been a bit naughty in my 2ww. Have reduced alcohol and caffine but not given either up . Figure that even if I was pg the "baby" would be little more than a bundle of cells with no placenta yet so a bit of alcohol wouldn't harm. After all, how many people drink cos they don't know they're pg. I didn't want ttcing to take over my life so made the decision to reduce but not eliminate. Also had lots of pate and cheese. Been saying all week, well I don't know when I will be able to have these again. How I am going to manage 9 whole months with no booze, soft cheese and pate!

Diege · 03/07/2008 12:02

I was reading somewhere that it's only from 6 weeks that the foetus starts to absorb any toxins anyway, so you'll be fine! And you don't need to give up alcohol or caffeine, just cut back a bit?? Come on, I need a partner in crime to collude with over my full strngth coffees .
Hey think we have pretty much Dec to March covered now! What a great idea it was to stay on this thread after BFPs - we have a birth(s) a month to look forward to, and those waiting to start ttc/waiting for bfps/waiting to give birth can get a sneal preview of what's ahead . Much superior to 'old school' antenatal clubs

Playingthe9monthwait · 03/07/2008 12:26

Well I am not giving up caffine just reducing a bit. I will try not to drink till 12 weeks, although I'm sure the odd glass wouldn't hurt. After 12 weeks I will be sticking to a couple of units a week. Its reassuring to hear that Deige, I did suspect this was the case which was why I decided not merrily keep drinking (just not get pissed) until I got a BFP. Oh and when I have coffee it will be a double shot cappacino (sp?), the joys of having an espersso machinein the kitchen!

I also agree that its nice to hang round here, I have checked into my ante natal group but can guarentee I'll be spending a lot more time here!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 03/07/2008 13:13

OMG, can't believe I missed another BFP, my time keeping skills have gone to pot....

Huge congrats Playing Very pleased for you

Diege, I over did the real coffee last week when we were away, so am taking it easy this week, don't know why, it's not like it would make any difference, except to my level of guilt! And I have had the odd glass of wine and lemonade, even had a proper glass of wine last night to celebrate the scan - sort of similar going to the dentist and then eating chocolate all day to make up for going isn't it?!! LOL

Agree, we are much superior to all of the TTC/AN clubs, obviously

Speaking of other TTC threads, has anyone noticed that other TTC thread knicked our 'no info is TMI' thing? And they made the home page

Playingthe9monthwait · 03/07/2008 13:17

Hi Nat - I hadn't noticed but I'm happy here, just as I ams ure they are happy on their threads. So let them copy if they want .

GruffaloSoldier · 03/07/2008 13:17

Rargh! How very dare they?!

Diege · 03/07/2008 13:19

LOL Nat, yes I did notice that, and it did make me a bit . Why, I don't know!!!
Mmmm, am going to have a real coffee now after your last post...helps get rid of metal mouth too!

glaskham · 03/07/2008 13:19

i saw that actually!! wasn't best pleased by it either!! title pinchers!!

Playingthe9monthwait · 03/07/2008 13:26

So... whos next then? We normally get our BFPs in 2's so is anyone else due to test?

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 03/07/2008 13:27

Stop it Diege, else you'll find me knocking your front door down!

If I could remember how to get the little registered trademark thing (y'know the little circle with an 'R' in it?) I'd do a new thread title with it in! LOL

(Just incase there is anyone from that thread spying on us, I actually didn't mean that, )

Playingthe9monthwait · 03/07/2008 13:30

do you mean... ®

Diege · 03/07/2008 13:31

Ooh yes, memories of my stalking episode there . TM badge would be great Nat for next threas title . I could also book it under 'intellectual property' with the British library, or is that too much? .
Mmm, my coffee is lovely, and I have a nice slice of coffee and walnut cake too...

Diege · 03/07/2008 13:31

Yeah, we're sorted now Playing

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 03/07/2008 13:34

Awwww Diege Stop it if my keys get stuck now I am blaming you!!

That's the one Playing, wonder if it works in the thread titles? LOL

Diege · 03/07/2008 13:36

The thick coffee icing is the best part...will lob over a slice to yours now...oh sorry, I had the last one .

glaskham · 03/07/2008 13:37
