Me too! What a journey you have had.
Nothing happening here at all unfortunately. I had a couple of positive tests in Sept but it only lasted a day. This will be cycle 12 so wondering whether it’s time to call it a day (we do have a lovely 2 year old).
Having some fertility testing in a couple of weeks but have a feeling we’re going to be told the only option is IVF and I’ve not much appetite to put myself through that considering the stats for my age.

@overwork Sorry to hear that. Remind me of your age, you're similar to me, mid to late 30's?

For what it's worth, the only part of the IVF cycle I've experienced is the egg collection, and although we had a disappointing yield, the process and procedure was pretty unproblematic. The main issue we had was having few eggs collected means they might not survive freezing or defrosting, but if we were going straight for embryo creation and transfer it could've been fine as they'd only need 1. (we didn't yet qualify for IVF treatment at that stage hence it was just fertility preservation for cancer treatment).

I know it's a lot to go through, but you might find that you want to give it a shot anyway, especially if you feel like you're mentally prepared for an unsuccessful result. Hopefully tests in a couple of weeks will bring clarity. 🤞🏻♥️✨

@DorsetGirl89 so I should probably have caveated by saying I have a bicornuate uterus, I basically got periods until baby was big enough for one half of my womb to realise there was a baby in the other half. But I know people who've bled for other reasons/no reason and been absolutely fine too!

Ok! That's so interesting, I was told I have that too when I was having scans before egg freezing, so maybe that's why I have bled as well? I had never heard of it before and had no idea I had that 🤔 it didn't cause any problems then, just harmless bleeding in first trimester? Was the bleeding at your normal cycle times or continuous or random? (Sorry for all the questions!) Xx

Sa11yCinnamon · 06/03/2026 09:43

@DorsetGirl89 yes that would definitely explain it!! From what I remember I missed a period when I actually fell pregnant then had three around the times I'd normally be due on, then nothing else.

I was told it could result in baby coming early - he was two weeks late - or needing a c-section, which I did, but I don't know if that's why. But no other issues!

BurningOutt · 06/03/2026 09:58

@DorsetGirl89 ive never had progesterone checked but it’s standard to give it in early pregnancy for people who have had previous losses. I think you should ask for it as it’s normal protocol and can’t hurt.

Anya23 · 06/03/2026 11:16

@DorsetGirl89 congrats! watery discharge is quite normal, I hope you won't have any more bleeds 🤞
To be honest I don't think it's standard procedure anymore at most places - if the bleeding is not caused by low progesterone it still won't help, and actually could mask an MC unfortunately. That's why I had to have a D&C because progesterone kept the pregnancy even though it wasn't progressing then for a while. I also won't be put on progesterone next time without testing my levels first

Do you think this is ok for 11DPO?

And then I did the digital weeks predictor...

That’s interesting @Anya23 - I’ve had recurrent mcs and have always just been given progesterone (I’m on it now from ovulation) even though there’s never been a suggestion that low progesterone is a problem for me. It is correct that it will prevent a bleed if you keep taking it but by 6 weeks if no heartbeat things should become clear.

HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy · 06/03/2026 12:40

Looks great to me too @ClaireF992 !! Not a squinter at all! Congratulations 🥳

Yeah, I was given one more week at 6+4, even though I knew something was wrong, because there was a barely visible fetal pole, with no heartbeat. I had spotting before that so I'm sure I could have miscarried on my own without the progesterone

That's so interesting thanks @Anya23 it makes sense, I think they'll just keep monitoring and won't supplement unless I need it.

Oh no @DorsetGirl89I’m (just turned) 42 so I have a few years on you! Really good to know that you didn’t find it too bad! It would be a lot of money for us to waste if it’s unlikely to work.

Tested this morning at 9dpo and it was stark white! I know it is still very early but have some lower back pain so feel like AF might be coming much sooner than I thought.

ClaireF992 · 07/03/2026 06:35

I’ve just made a post about this but for anyone testing early with the boots 5 days early test I wouldn’t bother and I’d choose a different test. This was in comparison to CB early and FRER all using the same urine.

Sorry to hear that, but like you say 9DPO is early. Which tests are you using? I had back pain and cramps and was convinced AF was coming but never showed. Fingers crossed for you 🤞

Just the easy@home ones. Trying to save money on endless tests, the clear blue ones are so expensive! I’ve got a clear blue at home but don’t think it’s an early response so probably no better than the easy@home?

HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy · 07/03/2026 07:22

@ClaireF992 Also, your lines are brilliant!! For 12 dpo you have perfect lines!
The comparison is really useful thanks. Won’t be buying those Boots tests 😂

DorsetGirl89 · 07/03/2026 07:44

@HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy I had AF like cramping around implantation, so it might be that. Have you had any symptoms different from AF?

HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy · 07/03/2026 08:57

@DorsetGirl89 I had a lot of what felt like ovary pain at 7dpo which I don’t normally have. I did an Lh test to check my body wasn’t trying to ovulated again, having failed the first time but the test was very negative! So then I thought maybe that was implantation, which was why I tested today but BFN!

Hopefully I’m just testing too early and today’s pain is implantation. Good to hear you had AF like cramps at this point. Will keep hoping!

Apple2026 · 08/03/2026 09:37

Hi all, I’m tentatively joining after a MMC and ERPC last month. Feeling a bit weird about trying again! HCG test is still positive but really faint now, I’m hoping my period will come soon which is not something I thought I’d be saying 🤣

HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy · 08/03/2026 12:35

Stark white test on 10 dpo. Not feeling hopeful this cycle as had a positive with both my others at this point ☹️
