Kooky I have sent the OPK and thermometer today so you should have them tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest....

glaskham · 16/06/2008 17:11

ooh LB how exiting!!! how on earth does an internal scan work?... do you mean internal as inside you?

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 16/06/2008 17:13

Evening all, looks like I am going it alone tonight, DH has a late job, depending on what happens he will either be home around 8.30-ish or out all night.... good job I am a trusting loon!! LOL Am only kidding, no one else would have him!! LOL

Hoorah for still being pregnant LL - you clever thing! That is good of your surgery to do that, wish ours was as forward thinking!

Ses at your boss, I hope you email has firmly set him in his place.

Kay glad the appointment went well

Am off to play with the doppler while the kids are eating, t'is exciting all this heartbeat malarky!

lardybump · 16/06/2008 17:14

Yep instead of on top of you tummy they stick the camera up your fango and do it that way........ Not looking forward to that bit I must admit. THey have to do it that way because it is before 10 weeks.

glaskham · 16/06/2008 17:18

never heard of that before!! I have a standard boring hospital here where they only scan you around 12 weeks and then again at 20 weeks... only got an 8 week scan with ds as was hospitalised and they wanted to check it wasn't twins!!

lardybump · 16/06/2008 17:21

See I wouldn't mind having a 12 week and 20 weeks scan. But they dont do the 12 week one here, that is why the GP has bought their scanner and does a dating scan when you register your pg.

If I work from first day of last period I am 4 weeks today......

kayzisexpecting · 16/06/2008 17:25

BOOO!!!!

I am soooo bored!!! I hate it when DH does lates as I just get so bored.

glaskham · 16/06/2008 17:26

ahh... yeah i forgot you said it was because your hospital isn't doing 12wk scans... at least you'll get to hear the heartbeat and see your baby!! even if they do have to go up your fanjo!!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 16/06/2008 17:28

So sorry, obviously meant LB in my last post...! Am going to have to watch that!

LB(!!) my emergency scan was an internal, it wasn't too bad, not exactly nice, but not as bad as like a smear or anything.

Diege · 16/06/2008 17:29

Hi LL! It'll be a far more eventful GP visit than the rest of us! Think they do things like that in the States? If they can print you out a piccy, fanjo scans are really nice and clear apparently!

glaskham · 16/06/2008 17:29

seems like we've all got OH's that are working late tonight!! DH wont be home till 9ish, and dc's are complaining they are tired and want to go to bed already!! trying to hold them off till 6!!

Diege · 16/06/2008 17:29

Yes, LB!!!!

Diege · 16/06/2008 17:33

ooh get them to bed Glaskham !!!
My dh will be back any minute with eldest 2 from childminders, then will go and get dd3 from nursery while I go on mumsnet mark A level essays . Felt a bit guilty not picking up older dds from school, but hey the essays need marking and we have to pay childminder anyway!
This is my last evening without working though - my marking schedule starts tomorrow solid for 3 weeks - so we're getting a video out and dh is going to get the food I want! Yes it's mash and tinned peas again, but with southern fried style chicken escalopes (has been same with other 3 pregnancies, my body is so predictable!).
Speak later!x

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 16/06/2008 17:35

I am a bit lost on this face book thing, if someone writes on your wall, do you write back to them on your wall, or their's?

And if someone sends you sea garden requests, what the hell do you do with them?

And what on earth is this 'Mrs. Someone bought Mr. Someone for £££££'s'?????

And why is everyone elses full of stuff and mine is boring beyond boring????

kayzisexpecting · 16/06/2008 17:36

You write on their wall Nat.

You just accept the sea garden requests.

No idea about Mrs someone stuff

lardybump · 16/06/2008 17:37

I had a lovely time at the wedding on Sat. Had one bubbly and then went onto soft drinks.

DD had a lovely time and danced until she dropped. SHe finally went to sleep at 9 (her usual bed time is 7) while i was dancing with her in my arms. I went up to bed with her at 1/2 ten and dp came up (as drunk as a skunk) at 1/2 4 in the morning. A good time was had by all by all accounts... I will post a pic when I get my camera back from dad.

I am so hungry all the time. I need some help to curver my hunger pains as I have only just eaten...... I dont want to put on as much weight as i did last time so what do I do???? I really want to eat lard.....

Ses15 · 16/06/2008 17:38

NJ - write back on their wall. As for loads of interesting stuff on your fb, some of it's a bit annoying really! I haven't got into all this buying and selling of people but I do like the comparison quizzes and movie quizzes.

lardybump · 16/06/2008 17:38

I am too old as well NJ I must admit I dont know what is going on with it all.

Playingthewaitinggame · 16/06/2008 17:41

NJ - If someone writes on your wall you write on their wall back. I personally ignore all request and applications; I don't want to buy someone, I don't want a cup cake and I dont' want to be a knight! All I do on fb is keep in contact with mates and share photos.

LB - early scan is great!! Apparently here they only do a 16 week scan. I mean wtf, thats completely pointless. Too late for proper dating too early for anomalies (sp?).

Oh and my DH is not going to be late he has already told me he has left work and for me to go home and change into something nice as he is in the mood. Handy that as I am going to be pretty easy this week

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 16/06/2008 17:41

I'm with Diege, get them to bed....!

Thanks Kay

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 16/06/2008 17:43

X posted with a few then!

See everyone I have on there is on MN, so I can speak to them on here.....

Cosmogirl · 16/06/2008 17:50

Hi guys,

Ok, so I'm not off the wagon - but we appear to be using the withdrawal method...... Had a couple of GOFs this weekend using this 'method'.....was probably several days after ov, so I'm guessing the chance of conception is very very small.....

Playingthewaitinggame · 16/06/2008 17:52

Well I use it for other mates as well, particularly for one I dont see that often. The status thing can be useful too, e.g "thanks for all the birthday wishes" is easy than replying to everyone who posted on your wall or "is off to the pub" is a great way of finding out who's going out etc etc.

What I like most about fb is the photo sharing. Yes there are other photo sharing website but fb is fab because it tells you if any of your friends have updated photos. So, for example, I went to a bbq at the weekend. Forgot to take a camera but loads of other people did. Normally you would never get to see the photos but many of them have been posted on fb and some are v. funny. So when I looked this morning it told me that so and so had posted new pics so I went to look straight away. Without fb I would never have seen these photos.

Playingthewaitinggame · 16/06/2008 17:54

Hi Cosmo, ah it sounds as if you'll be off the wagon sooner rather than later. We spent the last couple of months having unsafe sex in "safe" times when normally we wouldn't have dared.

lardybump · 16/06/2008 17:57

Cosmo just get off the wagon will you,,,, You are clinging by your finger nails now girl
