Hi everyone, just starting up a board for those of us thinking of TTC this month 😊 This is our first month TTC number 3. I just turned 40 so it's unlikely to happen quickly if at all, but we've decided to give it a couple of months just to leave it to fate! Looking forward to chatting with you all!

Does anyone have any experience of indent lines on Boots tests? I'm about 9dpo at a guess. I think AF due on Weds or Thurs. This morning I got a very very faint shadow. Not even sure I'd call it a line, and my cheap strip test was negative, despite being more sensitive. I suspect it's probably an indent?

Unfortunately to me that seems like a shadow, I had something similar before, where the line was not clear. I think even with a faint line you should see where the line starts and ends but you still have time until AF!

@Anya23 I agree, it's definitely just a shadow that's caught me out! With DS2 I didn't get a positive until the day AF was due and that's another 4-5 days yet. Definitely feeling cramps like AF is coming!

Fingers crossed! If not strong cramps, it can also be from implantation

Hey lovelies - back again for our 3rd month of TTC our first. CD16 today and looking like I’ve just got my peak or will later tonight / tomorrow morning. Much earlier than my 2 previous cycles (ovulation on CD20 and CD19) so hoping for a better length luteal phase - my cycle lengths are around 30-32 days.

Ive has some cramps like implantation cramps maybe? That's what I had with my second daughter and I remember being shopping with my friend and telling her I knew I was pregnant. She remembers it too and thought it was so weird that I just knew 😂
My sense of smell has heightened too and the other day at work I couldn't stop eating 😂😂 that one was random but I hardly ever finish my lunch but this day I ate all my lunch and more 😂

I know I'm seeking out symptoms too so I could just be making myself think these things are happening but I'm hopeful !

And hope everything goes well for everyone else on the thread too 💕

im 7dpo today woke up tasting iron. Brushed my teeth, had a drink and then had a cup of tea as I usually would. The tea has left the worst sour/metal aftertaste in my mouth its rancid 😩😂

I had negatives at about 11dpo today! It's so weird because I feel pregnant! I didn't get my positive with DS2 until 14dpo so there's still a chance..

Hi everyone just checking in, currently 11dpo and bfn this morning. Only cycle 2 ttc number 3, the first two were unplanned (12 and 2) so I very wrongly assumed this would happen easily enough for me but perhaps age is now a factor as I'm 36 and my partner is 48. Just waiting for AF to arrive Friday. Wishing you all the best of luck this month ❤️

Sorry to hear of all the negative tests. Though nobody is out till AF arrives!

I'm CD13 and we're doing SMEP this month so still got a way to go. I've started drinking beetroot juice (disgusting) and wearing thick socks all the time. Even a myth that might boost my chances by 1% I'll take at this point. Is there anything else that people do during the fertile window?

So I caved and tested yesterday at 9dpo at it was a stark white BFN! however I'm aware that it's still very early! Will test again on Friday when I should be 13dpo! Hoping I'm still in with a chance this cycle!

7dpo here and the desire to test is so strong despite knowing it's too early! Why are we like this?!

TTC #2. We have DD3 and got pregnant (so much quicker than first time) in August. Sadly this ended in a devastating MMC (found out at 11 week scan) in October. This is my first cycle post MMC and I’m CD26, thinking I’m 8/9dpo (unsure of exact day I ovulated). Have had some symptoms inc heavier feeling boobs and (tmi) some colostrum-like discharge from one boob when pressed. Exact same thing happened last cycle I got pregnant (however I don’t normally squeeze my boobs so who knows if this would happen all the time 😆🤣). Also had some cramping on/off over last few days, especially last night and this morning. I also got this both previous pregnancies.

I did do a strip test this morning with FMU and part of me thinks I can see a vvv faint line - but also been here so many times before so know I could be kidding myself.

Thoughts on this test?!

I know it’s early anyway so not trying to attach too much to anything (ha! Easier said than done). Sending positive thoughts for BFPs 🥰

Welcome. Not sure I see a faint line but it's still very early 😊can I ask if you had a D&C? If so, when did your period return? 🫣I had it two weeks ago and I thought I was ovulating last week because of symptoms and strong tests, but I realised it's just showing the leftover hcg so I've got no idea when I'll return to normal

So sorry to hear you’ve been through the same - it’s awful. I didn’t have a D+C but I had the evac/vacuum thing? Still in hospital under GA.

I got my period 4.5 weeks after I had the surgery - I did have about a week of bad cramping leading up to it and never knowing if it was coming or not but then had a normal-like period and got a negative test at 3 weeks post surgery. I don’t know how long it takes for your body to totally be back at ‘neutral’ if you know what I mean. I had weird EWCM with pink streaks in it leading up to ovulation which I’d normally not get so it’s a bit of a mystery as to what is actually going on.

hope you get yours soon because at least then you’ll feel like things have reset and you can try again xx

@TupATea oh I'm so sorry, missed miscarriages are so devastating. I can't quite see a line on the test but you're early still!

Still a negative for me this morning and AF due in 2 days so I'm pretty sure I'm out 🤷‍♀️ At least I can drink over Christmas though!!

Just thought I’d update on my positive test, turned out to be a chemical pregnancy as my HCG levels dropped so just waiting for my cycle to start again x

Not sure what to think, not very hopeful. I definitely see a second line but know frer can be a nightmare for indents.
