OK...so I haven't been on for a while...mainly was too depressing as couldn't try to TTC as OH was still away. He's back now and [crosses everything humanly possible] hopefully will have a BFP in the next 2 weeks! I'm only at DPO3 but already symptom spotting (or as my friend pointed out...when I do it at work its just procrastination!!!)

So...any other symptom spotetrs out there??

Hmmmm! All sounds v tiring but also could be v promising! Fingers crossed!

cakesandchocolate · 18/06/2008 20:34

Used a clearblue test today and it looked abit wishy washy and inconclusive - the whole results window was a bit bluey hazy and the control line really weak - but now (hours later) control line solid and def a faint positive. should that be totally disregarded as is way after 10mins?
Have had more (imaginary??)symptoms today - everything smells strong (retched over a nappy!!) and feel nauseous on an empty stomach - this is why I think it's in my head as surely too early for sickness?
going mad maybe...

Ses15 · 18/06/2008 20:39

cakesandchocolate - I think it's easy to think we're all going mad! When's AF due?

cakesandchocolate · 18/06/2008 20:43

23rd ish maybe sooner, maybe later - body been playing tricks on me since ttc!

Ses15 · 18/06/2008 20:47

Sounds promising but if due 23rd probably still a little early to be certain. How long was it before you noticed the faint +ve line? IIWY I'd test again Saturday....

cakesandchocolate · 18/06/2008 20:53

cheers, i know you're right but I am just too blimmin impatient!
When's your scan? have you had it yet

Ses15 · 18/06/2008 20:57

Scan was today. Blood test from Monday still showed HCG levels dropping no change on the scan (ie they couldn't decide whether it was still retained products from mmc in April or a new & early mmc or even both!!??!) Whatever it is I need to have another ERPC on Monday as it's definitely not a viable pregnancy.

cakesandchocolate · 18/06/2008 20:59

Bloody hell. How horrible to go through again. Will you be able to ttc straight away, or havin a break? Are you trying for no1?

Ses15 · 18/06/2008 21:06

Yes trying for dc1. Always thought I'd have 3 or 4 but didn't meet DH until nearly 4 yrs ago, got married 2 yrs ago and then had to wait for depo contraceptive injection to leave my system. Just want 1 now!! Will probably need to wait until I've had at least 1 if not 2 AFs so I'm thinking of ttc from September (although my heart's saying August!). Just realised that means now that I@m not really symptom spotting but I'll maybe gate crash this thread for a while so I can keep up with what's happening with you guys!

cakesandchocolate · 18/06/2008 21:12

well my symptom spotting/inventing includes exhaustion so I am leaving the toys on the living room floor and the dishes in the sink and am off to bed i know i'll regret it in the morning but hey ho!
til tomo!

Ses15 · 18/06/2008 21:12

Good for you! Sleep well!

emma2617 · 19/06/2008 17:55

Oh my god...I just got a faint BFP on first response (CD32)

I am shaking...happy, but shocked, didnt expect it to happen so soon!

I am trying not to get too excited as it is seriously early days, I am going to try and get into th doctors tomorrow.

cakesandchocolate · 19/06/2008 18:23

Emma - hurrah hurrah, well done you!!
I caved and tested again -ve but still early. I waste so much money!
Have ordered some ebay cheapies so when I cave again(it's inevitable) at least it'll just be a bit disappointing, instead of costing me an arm and leg!!

cakesandchocolate · 19/06/2008 18:23

ps feel less pg today too. boo yah..

emma2617 · 19/06/2008 18:37

I felt very pregnant about 2 weeks ago and then this last week not so much! I did 8 tests that were negative before this one!! A lot of which were cheapies from access dignostics so at least it didn't hit the pocket too hard!!

I am going to splash out on a CB digital tonight to pee on in the morning!!

Ses15 · 20/06/2008 10:05

Morning all!!

Emma - keeping my fingers crossed for you that the faint BFP becomes a nice strong one!

cakesandchocolate - fingers crossed for you too!

Hope you all have good wkends!

ontheup · 20/06/2008 13:22

chilledmama · 20/06/2008 19:48

Emma, thats brilliant news! I'm really shuffed for you

Ses, Blimey you are having a bad run. Hopefully things will get better quickly after your ERPC.

Well I didn't have MS last weekend (thought it was a bit early), instead I had food poisoning...its been a long week and I managed not to do any more testing while we've been away but as soon as I got back in the door poas

Ses - maybe see you spotting again soon!
Emma - hope alll is still going well!

emma2617 · 23/06/2008 09:36

I haven't re-tested yet, decided to just wait and see what the doctor has to say...I am seeing him at 10.20am today!

Will keep you updated!!

chilledmama · 23/06/2008 19:58

Well?????you must be back from doctors by now??????

OP posts:
emma2617 · 23/06/2008 20:06

Haha..he was useless! I really don't like him! Basically said to do HPT in 2 weeks if AF hasnt arrived and then go back as he may want to test for thyroid function!!! can you tell he is a hospital doctor who is only at GP on his final rotation..want something more exciting that a possible pregnant woman!!

chilledmama · 23/06/2008 21:02

what???? so he wouldn't/couldn't confirm your pg but thinks your thyroid might be causing hcg?????

OP posts:
emma2617 · 23/06/2008 22:39

Haha!! Well I guess that is what he thought! He wasn't prepared to confirm, by any means, whether I was pregnant or not, but said to wait 2 weeks and test again myself and if it was BFN then we should test for thyroid.

But googling has shown that some women don't get a BFP on HPT so why won't he do a blood test or anything?! Such a $*!?
