Hey everyone

Has anyone had any similar experiences where they ovulate later than usual, period has not arrived yet STILL getting negative tests??

Am feeling drained by this now. Having suffered 3 losses and trying to concieve our first baby at 31 i am a serial tester and started testing everyday from 7dpo. Dont ask me why 🙈 I was having so many symptoms which were so different from the month before. I was so sure id be pregnant with how im feeling. Im now 11dpo and nothing on the tests. Period coming up for 2 days late.

Feel like im going out of my mind 😕

Hey, I really feel for you. I’m 31 trying to conceive my first too.
I had an early termination a few years back and wasn’t even trying to get pregnant at that time. It feels harder this time.
Did you do an ovulation test this cycle?

Yes i use the clesrblue fertility monitor and got my peak days on CD 18 and 19. The cycle before I got my peak at CD 16

According to chatgbt I may have only just had implantation meaning that hcg wont be visible for another 1-3 days but im not feeling very hopeful

I know, it can feel so frustrating and makes you want to lose hope at times.
At least you tracked it accurately and timed it right, you can’t do any more than that.
I’d say just wait another day or two and test again?
I got my peak day on CD14 this month so probably ovulated CD15 but it was my first time using OPKs. I used the clearblue advanced digital and got the static smiley on that day. I thought I’d ovulate earlier as my cycles have recently been only about 26 days. Weird….

I’m 9DPO now so we’re at a similar ish time x

I’m 6dpo today and really struggling for patience to avoid testing as I know implantation wouldn’t have even occurred even if it was. I have a dull ache in my abdomen and feeling really irritable - I know these are also typical PMS symptoms 🥲

@TTCjourney2025I am also on 6dpo and also looking at every little symptom. It’s nice to find others in the same boat ☺️

Really don’t want to symptom spot at absolutely everything but I’m 6dpo today (CD25) and I’m getting dull pulling in my abdomen all day, especially when I’m peeing - but it feels quite high around my belly button

Implantation can happen anywhere from 6dpo to 12dpo. And even after it happens it takes a few days for the hcg to become visible on a test. So theoretically it could be as late as 14/15 dpo before a positive test!

just wondering if anyone has pinpointed dtd to peak day and day after.
we have been trying for a year since chemical and have been trying every other day over fertile week and wondering if we are running out of steam by the time ovulation comes? If that makes sense.
all tests have come back normal and next step I’m thinking will be looking at private appointment as I feel anxious about time.
sorry for the early morning rant just wondering what to do this week.
lh on the rise so I’m guessing will ovulate this weekend

@fullofhope2024 days with highest success rate are day before peak day peak day and ovulation day good luck x

we go on holiday from this cycle which will cover 2ww, praying that helps too

at least peak day and ovulation day for extra coverage if you track bbt also dtd every other day after that just in case ovulation is delayed that's good you'll be more relaxed for the tww ❤

Morning everyone

So I have no idea what's going on. 3 days late. Negative tests. Had some spotting yesterday and today. Thought period was coming but it hasn't turned into a period just brown/pinkish spotting when I wipe (sorry for tmi).

I ovulated later this cycle, peak at CD 18 & 19 so im around 13 dpo. Could this be late implantation and hence why my tests are showing negative??

I feel like im limbo land, what's going on?! :(

@laurajane07 it could be late implantation. What tests are you using and how many days is your luteal phase usually?

@HansBanansim currently using the wonfo tests? I found them on amazon i thought id give them a go. Thats the thing my previous cycles have all been 27/28 days so I just dont get it

@laurajane07 Assuming you have a 14 day LP, you’d usually ovulate on day 13 or 14 so I’d expect to be about 32/33 day cycle this month if you ovulated on day 18/19. So there’s still time for a positive 🙂

@laurajane07 the cheapies can take a little longer to show, or so I found when I was pregnant with my son

morning all! 4 dpo and AF arrived today. Any ideas? It is my first full cycle since my DD arrived so cycle is all over the place clearly. I got EWCM and positive LH test 5 days ago so I’m confident that was my surge and my 4 dpo is accurate. Do we think I just have a short luteal phase this month? TMI but the bleeding is bright red, quite heavy and I have cramps, so definitely think it is AF rather than anything else.

@AccountingMummy did you maybe miss your proper peak a couple of weeks ago? I know LH can rise towards AF so maybe that’s what you’ve picked up rather than your actual peak. I get what looks like ewcm in the few days before AF too so maybe you get the same

Morning all - 9DPO today and negative test. I’ve seen others test LH in their TWW… can someone please explain the significance of this? Here are my LH results for the last 4 days (today being the one at the bottom)

other symptoms:
waves of nausea that get better when I eat - never experienced this before but could be anxiety?
interrupted sleep - been waking up 2/3 times with vivid dreams the last few nights
stomach ache especially when around peeing
exhaustion - but this could be linked to the interrupted sleep?

These are all pms symptoms for me, I only started getting them in the last few months
You know what they say, if the symptoms are caused by pregnancy then the test should be positive as well. BUT, you're 9 dpo, so it's possible implantation hasn't even occurred yet so 🤞

Also LH rises towards the end of your cycle whether you're pregnant or not 🙂
