No it's ok really, I wasn't expecting a BFP at all, but it's always disappointing to see AF even when you're not actively TTCing isn't it?

lastboxoftampons · 04/06/2008 16:56

The month we conceived I had tons EWCM and haven't really had it since. We GOF'd on CD13 & 14, but that was just for fun really and then on CD16 when I had a minute amount of EWCM and then managed to get some preseed for CD18, which was my O date. I just feel like it wasn't really timed right. My temps are pretty low (both pre and post O) and I kind of feel like it's all an indication that something's not right. Don't know, I just don't FEEL like it happened, if that makes sense.

lastboxoftampons · 04/06/2008 16:57

Moosma, I'm sorry TEW got you

lardylumps · 04/06/2008 17:02

LBOT diege felt like that and look at her now.

Moosma I know what you mean. Do you have lots of drugs and chocolate? If not can dh get you some....

Diege · 04/06/2008 17:22

hello Just back from work Only one colleague knows (I am so rubbish at keeping a secret)and I think I can trust her!
LBOX, I dodn't gof when I had EWM this months, because of waiting for smear result. Had EWM on days 7 and 8 and godd-ed on day 10 (EWM gone) and days 14, 15, and 20 something. I did sit with my b um in the air on days 14 and 15, more because I couldn't be arsed to move really, but don't think it makes much of a difference. It was meant to be because I had a 'sign' yesterday...an Isabella Oliver catalogue arrived through the door. Spooky maaan .
Moos, feel a bit bad about not saying how sorry I am that your af seems to be its way . Really felt it was yours and Squack's month, and feel a bit of a late finisher.
Ok, details of the test as requested by Nat Woke up at 5 this morning (a symptom for me in itself) wide awake, and have been feeling really weird since Saturday, heavy but not sore boobs (that odd 'let down' thing you get when bF'ding - no milk), quite tired (but then what's new), and really hungry anhour or so after big meal (never had this with dds) so thoughty I should test just so af didn;t come as a massive disappointment. Line appeared after about 2 mins, lighter than control line but def. there and thick and pink. DH was in shock, poor thing, and his first words were 'but I thought you were due on on Friday', bless . He's now very happy, but think it's come as a shock just how quickly it happened after taking 5 months last time .
Arghhhh, so happy!!!! Great timing too as I'll stop work after Xmas and have 5 weeks or so before due date!!!
Right, I'll stop going on now!!
Oh and I'm on this thread forever, no way am I going anywhere!!

Diege · 04/06/2008 17:23

What's 'godd-ed' ??? A goff in a church?

lardylumps · 04/06/2008 17:25
Grin
Hoges · 04/06/2008 17:34

WOW - you girls move fast! Just came on here, a couple of days after my first post, and it has taken me over an hour to get through what I missed!! Congrats to all of you with BFP's- this seems to be a really successful thread, so I'm going to stick around and will try my best to get on more regularly!

UptheSquack · 04/06/2008 17:34

I had a glass of wine the night before last and told Dh I didn't think I was pg this month.
Then I told him he had better try harder next month and that he was a dud

It was said in jest, of course. I contacted him at work eventually today and he didn't say much.
I think it will take him a bit of time to come round.
Have told my mum and sister, both of whom had to be gently reminded to say Congratulations. Both were rather shocked too.

I'm not telling IL's until I can't hide it anymore God only knows what they'll say.

I'm going nowhere, not even to an Ante-natal thread unless everyone else is on it. I'm a wagonner through & through

Hoges · 04/06/2008 17:36

Should add that I am on day 4 dpo and for the first time my chart of ff actually seems to make some sense - this is my 3rd month of taking temps but first month ttc. Previous charts are very irregular - I can't see any real patterns at all. Looks like we started ttc the right month!

NatalieJaneIsPregnant · 04/06/2008 17:43

Awwww, brings back all the memories of the days I got my BFP's So excited for both of you

I also lagged in the Moos consolation department, didn't pick up on it properly with the other news going on... anyway, sorry if it is your period sweatie, hopefully though those tablets you were taking have done the trick, so you won't have to wait quite so long next cycle

Have finally got an email from PayPal re. that bloody water slide, they have said we are entitled to the refund, but we have to return the slide to the seller first, great until you read further into the email when they say they are yet to calculate exactly how much of a refund we are entitled to, and that they can't promise to get a full or even partial refund, obviously would depend on what is in the sellers PP account..... so they want us to spend more money returning it, just so she can keep the slide and keep the sodding money...... GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Sorry whinge over, t'is not a day for whinging on here! We are off to Toys R Us in a bit, going to see if we can fit two car seats and a booster in the back of our car, am crossing fingers we can so DH can finally get the idea of a new car out of his head!

NatalieJaneIsPregnant · 04/06/2008 17:44

I whinged again didn't I? Sorry, t'is deffo over now!

Diege · 04/06/2008 17:44

Hello Hoges! Fingers crossed this will be your month . There are several FF experts on here that you will be able to compare notes with!
Squack, I don't know what my mum will say..I got a tut and a sigh last pregnancy, so goodness knows what it'll be like with no.4!! Will be good to compare notes/think up witty reposes to the inevitable comments!!
And I think your dh will come round v.quickly...maybe it was hard for him to talk at work? My dh is still shell-shocked..it hits them hard poor dears...

NatalieJaneIsPregnant · 04/06/2008 17:46

LOL Squack "I'm a wagoner through and through" reminds me DH's favourite joke, if we snapped you in half you'd have 'Wagoner' written in a circle, like a stick of rock, he's dead funny my DH....

Can we come up with any names for the babies to do with wagons? Wagonetta?

Diege · 04/06/2008 17:47

E-bay whinging is good Nat!! Can't believe you've still not got your refund
To think, this'll be the last bfp/2ww I'll ever have...(fingers crossed of course!)

lardylumps · 04/06/2008 17:47

Just a quick question to all you wise ladies. Is it ok to drink while ttc. Obviously not fall about on floor drink but couple of glasses of wine every other night drink

lardylumps · 04/06/2008 17:48

fingers crossed????????????? what you may go for 5 diege

lardylumps · 04/06/2008 17:51

upthesquack... (gets into school teacher mode) please do not talk about your age like that (giving up after 6 months due to my age). Not least because you are younger than me and now I feel like one of the wrinkly knee clum

NatalieJaneIsPregnant · 04/06/2008 17:51

It had been in PayPal's hands for over a month, tossers. What do we do, risk losing everything, or put our faith in them? I know what DH is going to say.....

I keep thinking along the same lines, "this will be the last BFP/pregnancy/etc." don't know if I am pleased that we are on our way to finishing our family (god that sounds a bit frilly) or sad.... I must be one of the oddest people but I love the excitment of TTC'ing, all the am I/aren't I's, and the sex!!

LL drink and be merry IMO

lardylumps · 04/06/2008 17:54

NJ now I have your blessing I dont feel so bad

Diege · 04/06/2008 17:56

LOL at 'frilly' Nat . Know exactly what you mean Nat about 'Our family is complete' .
LL, nooooo no. 5 for me!!! Just fingers crossed it's a sticky one Having said that, if it's a boy it'll look like we were just carrying on to get a boy (which we're not!!!) so would have to put paid to those rumours

Diege · 04/06/2008 17:58

Agree LL, drink/eat what you like...as I think someone (Nat or Kayz?) said earlier, you get enough deprivation for 9 months!!
Of course this was the one month I was very sloppy with the folic acid!!!

NatalieJaneIsPregnant · 04/06/2008 17:59

LOL, seriously, you can't put your life on hold, a little bit of alcohol isn't going to do any harm.

I still have a little bit now! And poor old DS1, it was my 18th just when he was being concieved (quite possibly on that night) and I was pissed as a fart! Can't even remember getting back to the hotel!

Wouldn't say getting that drunk is a good thing, pregnant or not, but it is the people who are dowing a bottle of voddie a day that are putting the baby at risk (and even a bottle a day alcoholic can have perfectly healthy children).

Right really must get kids ready to go out, have a lovely evening everyone, will be thinking of Diege and Squack, that first night you know is the best See you all tomorrow xxx

Diege · 04/06/2008 18:05

See you tomorrow Nat . Hoping for a take away at the very least, before even the smell of the pages of a book (yes really), and the doorbell ringing make me heave!

lardylumps · 04/06/2008 18:14

Night NJ. Oh diege what take away are you having???
