Morning all! Hope I've updated the list ok. Do any of you use OPKs? If so when do you start using them? The box says normally cd7 but I know I never normally ovulate that early so I'd probably start cd10 or 11.

Hope everyone's ok this morning. I'd better get going and go to work. Catch you later!

Morning all! SesQal I started using OPKs this month - you can get them really cheaply on ebay about £4.99 for 40 OPKs and 10 HPTs (plus postage).

I also have a quick question again! Do you correct your temps for your graph? And if so, do you put your actual temp in this list on MN, or the corrected temp?

SesQal · 05/08/2008 08:43

Hi lou! I've not started doing corrected temps yet so always stick to what I get!

Morning all.

Ses I've been using OPKs for two months now and I think I keep screwing them up! If your cycle is fairly regular I would start testing around CD10 or so. Do you normally ovulate around the same time each month? Well done on updating the list by the way

Lou I try not to data correct my temps if I can help it - but I'm a Virgo and a bit anal, so the open circles sometimes really bother me If the time I took my temp is only about a half hour from my normal time, I don't change the temp at all. If there's a huge difference, I might use the temp corrector on FF (it's under the data menu). I usually put whichever temp is on my chart in here on MN.

And I'm sure you're all hearing about my blasted cycle!! But I had a freak high temp today. And no spotting since yesterday afternoon.

lastboxoftampons · 05/08/2008 09:55

Oops, crossed posts with Lottie AND forgot to add this morning's temp

Lottie LOL about the Stewie voice!!!! DH will always put on Family Guy and I always pretend I'm not amused But will sit there and watch it when I was meant to go to bed an hour ago! And I always manage to say "I hate that baby!"

I ~think~ I might do a test tomorrow morning, depending on the temp. I can't really get out of the office today to do it anyway.

But okay, here's my question...IF I did ov on CD16 and IF 6dpo was an implantation dip, why would it take a further six days for my temp to rise/possibly go triphasic?? Does that seem normal? Other possiblity is that maybe I ovulated yesterday??? But I haven't had any fertile CM. Oh, I'm so confused!

other thing is I first woke up around 5:30 this morning and took my temp and it was 36.58 - but went straight back to sleep. Woke up at 7 but sat up and looked at the clock, laid back down and said to DH "It's 7, alarm didn't go off" and then took my temp. Do you think 6 words would've affected my temp two tenths of a degree? Maybe I'm just sick or have a fever or something?

Oh, I hate this!

thanks for that, Lottie. I guess I'm at a point now where I can take a test to see, otherwise, I'll drive myself crazy. I feel like I haven't had any symptoms - ie sore boobs or anything - until now! But that might just be me thinking too much about it. When I was on holiday I was preoccupied; it's not until I'm here with nothing to do but Google and symptom spot work that I start 'feeling' things But maybe they really haven't been sore until now after all...

If I use the Research detector on FF it's giving me an O date of CD24, I think, without me fudging/discarding/changing any temps.

The spotting I had yesterday was definitely 'poked for' and was just a little orange-y/pinkish and very watered down if that makes any sense. You know, almost translucent on the TP. But I haven't had any since last night and I have had BMs (sorry TMI!!! ) since then, which you'd think would force out anything that was in there.

Who you calling bonkers??? Sadly, gone are the days that I don't look at the TP before flushing!

You're absolutely right about the comparing charts, by the way. I know I've got to stop it - I get excited by the fact that my temp today is pretty much exactly the same as it was 13dpo when I was pregnant - but I conveniently ignore the temps that don't match up

Speaking of...please update your chart overlay on your homepage! I keep looking to compare your current chart and it's not even on there!!!!

Hello all!

So glad I am not the only one who is having a ttc-crazy day! I just went to the bathroom at work and noticed a massive glob of EWCM (Sorry if TMI), I was so 'proud' of myself that I was grinning from ear to ear when I came back to my desk. So much so - that someone commented and I had to make up some random story about why I was smiling! I realised how crazy I was to be getting excited over CM

Lastbox, it is very interesting that FF gives you an OV date of CD24 - I can see that the EWCM fits into that but the temp shift on CD17 seems clear.

Hello everyone

Sorry - would love to do a more detailed post but work calls

lastboxoftampons · 05/08/2008 15:10

Work? Over US? BAH!

Lottie you owe me £1.87 - I just did a test (FYI - superdrug has two 2packs for £7.50) and it was unsurprisingly and unceremoniously BFN!!! But it wasn't FMU, you say. True, but I'm 13dpo and 3 days past my normal LP - I would expect a decent amount of HCG.

So, I'm now speculating on other O dates...any guesses?

BSOL well done on the EWCM! I just ran into colleagues while trying to buy HPTs!!! I had to hide them behind my back and take a detour around the shop!

lou031205 · 05/08/2008 18:30

LBOT - Well until she comes swooping in, there is hope.

Actually, I have some news. After getting yet another BFN yesterday, I was going to avoid tests for a few days. I caved and tested this morning, and it was negative.

This afternoon, I got a sudden urge to test, and went upstairs. I did the test and brought it down while I started dinner. I looked and thought "negative ", but then as it turned in the light, I thought I saw something. It was the faintest faintest line!!

I went to the chemist and bought a clearblue double pack, and that test has a BF(aint)P!

I can't quite believe it, and am waiting to find out that it was all a trick of the light. I am 11dpo, so it can only get stronger?

BrightSideOfLife · 05/08/2008 18:56

lastbox sorry about the BFN, I had another look at your chart and see you put OV on as CD 26. Do you not think CD24 anymore?

at you having to hide the HPTs, I caught a colleague buying one a while ago and...well...she is on Maternity Leave now!

Lou That is fantastic news, just fantastic!! Fingers crossed that this is a sticky one and the line continues to get stronger

lottie OK...I will admit...I just bought a fertility spell off Ebay. I even got a free Weight Loss spell thrown in. Bargain!!

Thank you!

Londonlottie - could this be implantation cramps? I got those every pregnancy. Feels just like AF is coming, then you check your knickers...nothing.

Lastbox, does that mean that your BFN is just too early to tell? That would be great, wouldn't it, because your BFP could be on its way.

Hi girls - I'm still going to post my temps rather than BFP for a few days until it gets strong, if that's OK.

Morning Lou - really exciting about your BFP!! I know you want to wait for a stronger line but it sounds v encouraging. Are you testing again today?

lou031205 · 06/08/2008 08:16

Have done - got a bit freaked because the cheapie I did didn't show, so did my other clearblue and got a faint BFP again. I did have a cup of tea late at night, so probably had quite dilute FMU.

SesQal · 06/08/2008 08:35

Keeping everything crossed for you then!

I'm feeling a bit grotty this morning. Headache and still really tired. AF seems to have really drained me this month - physically and emotionally. Trying to be good this morning and have a decent breakfast and some water. Hopefully I'll then be back to normal. Can then have a good go at ttc this cycle

Tbh, I really feel like I have to get pg this month as don't think I could cope with much more "wasted time" IYKWIM!

Morning all - Congrats lou that's great news!

Ses I know how you feel about needing to be pg - but just try to take it easy. We've all been there and we'll all eventually be mommies. Unfortunately, you just have to give it as much time as it takes!

Temp back down today and feeling horrible and crampy - maybe AF is on its way. I really don't know what's going on and I'm officially giving up! I was at work late last night, so I'm staying home for a bit this morning. I have the TV on and the video for Milkshake just came on - I don't know why but I just love this song
