AF in full force so ammended entry for today on FF. This month was always going to be a long shot so will have to give it a good go in my new cycle. Will tell DH to completely plan the weekend out in 2 weeks for some serious GOFing!

Feeling a bt low - probably not helped by the hormones but have been quite good today and persauded myself to get on with things. It's raining heacily here now - has everyone else had rain today?

Hope you're enjoying your Sundays!

lou031205 · 03/08/2008 19:08

Sesqal - it's hard when you are actively trying to get pregnant.

Well, what happened.... My DD1 was keeping DD2 awake, and so after 1 hour of trying to settle them, DH took DD1 for a walk around the field. DD2 settled. Roll on 3 hours, and DD1 is still absolutely distraught, saying hum, hum, ga hum... turned out that after I eventually worked it out, she was saying "Go Home!" and "Mimi sat" (Millie sad). WheN I asked her, she said "Mimi Car" So, for the sake of the family opposite us with an 11 month old who had been woken by DD1 (they didn't say anything, and were very sweet when I said we were leaving & told us not to leave on their account) at 11pm, we took the children home.

DD1 fell asleep as soon as she was in the car, and when we took her inside and put her in bed she said "Bye Bye Mummy" & went straight to sleep. So that was that. We went back to the site today to clear up.

LBOT - please test even if using OPK, keep us excited!!

lastboxoftampons · 03/08/2008 19:17

Aw, Lou your DD sounds adorable even if she was distraught And, oh, no, I won't be testing. I'm pretty confident with CD22 at this point and I know I can't be PG, so no peeing on anything for me. Can't waste any more money! And I'm quietly excited for next month given that my Ov wasn't delayed too much (I was slightly worried it was the agnus castus) and that I had tons of EWCM!!!

Ses I'm so sorry But perhaps August is the month for all of us!!!! Yay for May babies!!!!! {{{hugs}}}

LBOT - she truly is the funniest, most adorable little thing. (But she can really scream )

Well...Lottie someone mentioned it to me because she said those two are the ones that are most random/don't make sense. So I did take them out thinking those were the ones where I was adjusting to being on US time/weather - it was much hotter there. AND there were no negative OPKs around that time...

Oh, I don't know - it just sort of makes sense!

I just had a look and whether you ov'd on 18 or 19 you guys gave it your all this month! (and in the mornings too - impressive! ) My fingers are crossed so tightly for you, Lottie!!!! But what do my fingers matter when there are coins under the stairs!?!?

lou031205 · 03/08/2008 23:00

It's so exciting

I so hope my CD24, 8DPO was an implantation dip and not a result of being in a really cold tent!

lastboxoftampons · 03/08/2008 23:19

Lou I just had a look at your chart - I think an implantation dip typically goes way below the coverline and then back up. I think your low temp might've been down to the cold - but I wouldn't fret about it! You're still way above your coverline!

...but have you been doing HPT's since the day you ovulated? Your going to pee yourself into serious debt!!! Not to mention how depressing it is to see a negative test According to FF, the most reliable date for a positive test is 13dpo.

lou031205 · 04/08/2008 08:57

LBOT - don't worry, I am only using internet cheapies and 99p store tests (3 for 99p!). I wouldn't normally, but as I have yet to have a period following DD2, this is the first month I think I have ovulated, and I just wanted to make sure that if I am pregnant I find out as soon as I can!

Next month (if I don't get the result I want) I will wait until I miss a period.

Morning all.

Still confused here...thought if temp stayed higher as it did yesterday then there was a chance that I ov'd later than CD16 as FF says. But temp went back down to 36.42 today... I have no idea what that means. At all. I'm totally stumped.

Anyway, how is everyone?

Lou LOL! Even if they're internet cheapies, you won't find out anything at all at 2dpo!

LBOT- I know, but it's fun trying isn't it? Are you Sure fertility friend couldn't be right? Could that not be an implantation dip at 6DPO, and therefore possibly pregnant?

lastboxoftampons · 04/08/2008 11:06

If it's fun for you then, pee away! I find it nerve wracking!!!

I'm not sure of anything at this point. But I've just had some spotting, so that can't really be good My fault for poking for it, I guess...

Morning all,

I hope you had a good weekend, we had terrible rain yesterday - which was a good excuse to stay in watching DVDs

lastbox your cycle does look interesting, but whatever happens (as you say) - it is still great news that you seem to have had so much EWCM, great news for next cycle if this cycle is not successful. I remember you saying that the only other month you had so much EWCM was the month you last fell pregnant. What part of the cycle was it in then?

lottie Just had a quick look at your chart and you have made a great effort!! Well done on those morning sessions. It is all I can do to mumble good morning to my DH, I am NOT a morning person

lou Sorry to hear about your camping trip - better luck next time!

Hello sesqal and so sorry about AF. Just think how lovely a May baby would be

I am well....temps still low and I am just waiting for the big 'O' (and Ovulation...sorry - couldn't resist that )

Lottie don't think there's much to see. I guess I did actually ov on CD16...which makes me very happy in some respects and very sad in others.

Pros
My LP is at least a day, maybe two longer!
I had lots of EWCM (albeit at the wrong time?!?!)
My pre-O temps were higher than normal
My cycle is back on track...I think
This cycle won't be unusually long - which I feared it would be if I ov'd CD22, 26 or later - which means that next cycle is right around the corner
My ov moved up two days

Cons
Well-timed BD didn't work
EWCM came after ov
my post-O temps were so low, I was questioning that I even ov'd!
and once again...well-timed BD didnt' work

Thanks guys. I guess there were more positive things about this month than negative.

Lottie I snooped at your chart earlier - it's looking good!

BrightSideOfLife · 04/08/2008 15:18

lastbox sorry But as you say - it is great that your LP has increased, and the temps are consistently higher than in some of your previous cycles. The Vitex is obviously doing something, even though you have only been taking it a short while. Think how well it will be working by next month

Yay! Back on laptop so could finally update list!

Could someone answer me a question about FF? Why are some of the points on the graph filled blue colour dots and others just the outline of a blue circle? Also what is the ideal length of LP?

Feeling a bit better today but really exhausted and still had to take painkillers for the cramps this afternoon. Here's to a May baby - would be nice

LBOT - more pros Can I ask what is Vitex?

Lou - I'm v impressed with your testing! You must be v strong as I don't think I could cope with the pressure each morning! Glad you are finding it fun though

BSOL - day with dvds sounds fab! What did you watch?

Have a good evening everyone!

lastboxoftampons · 04/08/2008 20:20

Hi Ses

the clear circle dots are ones where you haven't taken your temp at the same time that your default is set to.

Vitex is agnus castus - it's a herb that's meant to regulate hormones.

SesQal · 04/08/2008 20:26

Thanks LBOT! Where do you get agnus castus from and how is it meant to benefit - EWCM or more regular ov or????

I have to say I feel like I could do with hormone regulation at the moment. PMT was really bad the last couple of days and everything was just magnified like 1000 times! Yet another reason to get pg! (As if I needed another!)
