Was it one of the 6 days early ones you took? That is really strange, have you taken any tests today? I’ve got my fingers crossed for you x

Yeah and the rapid frer not just the early one I believe. Taken one today and still positive so no idea 🤷🏼‍♀️ x thank you xx

becksxx · 12/02/2025 17:16

rhirhibumblebee · 12/02/2025 13:50

@becksxx that does look like a good line, does seem early though but it can happen. Keep testing and see if you maybe ovulate twice this month, happened to me once! I was so confused

oh really! I didn’t even realise that could happen, my AF was 10 days late this month too (never happened before) so my cycle seems a bit messed up at the moment! Xx

ThisHangryTiger · 12/02/2025 17:28

I'm 10 DPO and have light spotting today. Pre nom says AF due tomorrow so I'm guessing that I'm pretty much out.

Had anyone ever experienced implantation bleeding though on the day AF is due (or day before), or would it always be a few days before?

As I say I'm pretty sure I'm out though. Have a weekend away next week tho so silver linings is that I can have wine!

I've read that it can happen. You're not out until af shows! Fingers crossed for you...

Where can I buy FRER from online?? They are my fav brand 😂🙈. But no longer online anywhere decent ??

I got a pack of 3 from Amazon a couple of weeks ago! Going to hold out until using one until tomorrow... or maybe Saturday when I'll be 10dpo. This tww is sooo long!!

Hopeful1992 · 13/02/2025 07:42

Can I jump on please 🙂10dpo today, first cycle trying for our second. With my first after a little bit of help for PCOS I conceived first cycle and knew at 9dpo (implantation cramps followed by very sore boobs) this month apart from a few cramps which could be related to AF I have nothing!
did a cheap test yesterday which was negative , I do feel like I’m out this month. Trying not to let it bother me as I’m very lucky to already have 1 and it’s early days but it’s easier said than done haha
sending everyone baby dust

Totally AF this morning! Oh well, fingers crossed for everyone else and if not see you next month!

CustardCream31 · 13/02/2025 08:02

Ah I'm sorry @ThisHangryTiger ... I understand the disappointment 😖 fingers very tightly crossed for you for next cycle 💫 do something nice for yourself this weekend.

woodpeckersounds · 13/02/2025 09:45

So, the nausea is hitting me with a vengeance today! And I keep getting hot flushes. I'm going to hold off until Saturday or Sunday (or both!) and see what happens. My urine may have been too diluted when I tested yesterday, so I'm going to try with FMU and see what happens. I never feel like this leading up to AF, so I'm either pregnant or coming down with something... keeping my fingers crossed!

Sorry AF has appeared @ThisHangryTiger. It's a really tough road. As PP said, do something nice for yourself this weekend and hopefully March will be your month! Xx

Marvelftw · 13/02/2025 10:21

My body has been doing lots of weird things this cycle with cramping on and off for a week so I ended up testing early yesterday to try and get a sense of what was going on. It was negative (I wasn’t that surprised) but all the changes my body has been going through these past three months has made me think that I probably need to give my body a longer break to adjust since coming off the pill after being on it for such a long time.

Someone also mentioned light periods being a potential fertility issue, and mine have been super light ever since I started the pill. Thinking of taking a bit of a break from TTC to let my body adjust and build up again using supplements which I think would also give me some much needed headspace tbh!

MrsGingerCat · 13/02/2025 10:24

Hi Ladies, quick question - we're switching it up this month and DTD every day instead of every 2 days over the fertile window. I know there's no greater chances but thought lets just go for it and have fun with it😂
I got my peak yesterday afternoon, going to DTD today and tomorrow. (also the past few days including yesterday). Would you DTD the day after tomorrow also? I've read ovulation is 12-48hrs after peak and egg lives between 12-24hrs, so not sure if the following day is needed?
Sorry if it seems obvious, we're ttc our first and although we've been trying for a few months, it's still all quite new to me.
Thanks 😊

MummyV2021 · 13/02/2025 10:36

Sorry AF has arrived @ThisHangryTiger sending hugs - look after yourself!

@woodpeckersounds that does sound really promising! I actually got really bad nausea from 10DPO when I had my chemical in September - I didn't get a positive until 12DPO (obviously wasn't a good outcome that time, but trying to say that I had nausea before HCG was detectable on a test so hopefully the same for you!). Will keep everything crossed for a BFP for you!

@Marvelftw when you say light, how light are they?! I was on the minipill for years (so no periods) before I successfully conceived the first time. I was off the pill for about 6 months before TTC to be fair and it didn't happen first cycle but my periods were light and always were even before the pill - like I would have maybe medium flow the first day then light flow for 2 days max after. I would rarely fill pads/tampons at all. Some headspace might do you some good to let your body find it's way and give you a mental break but I honestly wouldn't worry about the lightness of your periods.

@MrsGingerCat I think you'll be covered with today and tomorrow to be fair, although going again the day after won't do any harm - you might just be a bit fed up of it by then! Good going on the DTD marathon though! Hopefully a winning tactic!!

EllieWales · 13/02/2025 10:53

Illness throwing my ovulation off this month might have been a blessing in disguise, found out yesterday I’m at risk of being made redundant 🙁 maybe it isn’t the right time after all! We’re putting baby making on hold until I know the outcome but good luck to you all 🤞praying for your BFPs this month

justbelieve · 13/02/2025 11:12

Having an emotional wobble this morning. I’m only 4 DPO, but my temp is dropping so I’m concerned that my progesterone is low and that I might be out again.

Just keep feeling like I want to have a big cry! This journey is so up and down

Mrsttcno1 · 13/02/2025 11:22

So sorry to hear that @EllieWales what a stressful situation!

Also sorry you’re struggling @justbelieve TTC is such a mental game, it totally consumes your every thought. I remember when we were trying for my daughter I had pretty much stopped measuring time in calendar weeks and months and instead my life was measured in: AF arrived, CD1, count down until I start OPK testings, test, test, test, got a peak, great, sex sex sex, peak gone, now count down TWW, pregnancy test, AF arrived, CD1, repeat. It was really hard and after finding that so hard the first time we decided this time around trying for number 2 we were going to leave all of the tests etc and I have to say it’s made such a big difference for me mentally. I know roughly when I ovulate and we’re still obviously making effort to have sex at the right time but it has been much better for my mental health to not be waking up every day and taking my temperature, ovulation tests etc x

Oh really? Ohh I really hope so! But have to try not to get my hopes up too much. We've got a nice day/evening planned for tomorrow so I'm going to enjoy that and then test on the weekend like I said. I'm very hopeful but excited to go again next month if AF makes her appearance xx

Marvelftw · 13/02/2025 12:26

@MummyV2021 Well obviously everyone is different and I can only speak for myself, but from what I’ve read research wise I think it could be one of the issues for me. My periods pre the pill were always very regular/heavy flow and after going on the pill they were so light I had to stop using tampons because I was too dry to comfortably use them. I think from what I heard if you always had a light flow then it doesn't make a difference but it’s if there’s been a change that could indicate something. I’ve been off the pill for 3 months and my flow is still pretty light.

MummyV2021 · 13/02/2025 12:32

@woodpeckersounds that sounds like a very healthy mindset and approach to take!!

@Marvelftw that does sound super light! Hopefully it's just the effects of the pill and you'll get more normal flow soon. We're more in tune with our bodies than we realise!

@EllieWales really sorry to hear that! I hope you get a good outcome! But must be so stressful!

@justbelieve sending hugs, it's such a rollercoaster! Have a good cry if you need to 😘

@Figtree11 congratulations!! That's amazing!! Keeping everything crossed for you!

Marvelftw · 13/02/2025 13:21

@MummyV2021 Thank you! Yeah I think a break might be good. I was saying to my friend earlier that I don’t even know symptoms of a normal cycle for myself since it’s been so long. Cramps have been ramping up since month 1 too so fingers crossed that means there are signs things are slowly rebuilding.

Sunshine924 · 13/02/2025 18:45

Possibly 9DPO and have really sore boobs! I'm sure I don't usually get this before AF but wondering if I'm just trying to convince myself something is different. Come down with a horrible flu like thing so at least being miserable about that is a distraction of sorts!!

CustardCream31 · 14/02/2025 07:11

9dpo today.... and have a squinter of a line I think. Was there after around 3-5 mins (checked after showering straight away!!)... so hard to photograph though. What do you ladies think??

We're all guilty of convincing ourselves during the TTW! Fingers crossed this is it for you! X

rhirhibumblebee · 14/02/2025 09:11

@CustardCream31 Thank you, I've added the 3 pack to my basket! Hate the wait! I definitely see a faint line. FRER are pretty reliable. See if it's any darker tomorrow 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

@Hopeful1992 sounds promising! I literally look out for every little sign 🙈

@ThisHangryTiger sorry to hear that! Sending hugs! We've got this xx

@justbelieve sorry you're feeling that way. There's still hope 🤞🏻 my fingers crossed for you

@Sunshine924 my fingers crossed for you! How long will you wait to test? I'm so terrible of not being patient and doing it every day from 10dpo 😭🙈

rhirhibumblebee · 14/02/2025 09:14

I'm CD11 and I have the egg white! 😂 ovulation is predicted to be CD13 for me so we will definitely be DTD this weekend 😂

Tia22 · 14/02/2025 09:28

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

I took a test this morning (the 6 day early ones) just hoped by some miracle I might get my first ever positive but couldn't see a line at all.

Think I'm 8 days post ovulation today (I couldn't wait any longer haha!!) Trying to keep positive

Massive congratulations to everyone who has had positives!! xx
