Awwww thankyou, I have missed you 'orrible lot as well
Have just spoken to my sister, she ended up just trying my mums old number yesterday and it actually worked so I rang mum after I got DS1 from school, not a word was mentioned about the fact that she hadn't rang, or that we haven't spoken for nearly two weeks, or that her old line is working, until I said about it. Still then no apology or anything, she just went on to say that up until Friday just gone, the line was a bit iffy because they'd let her keep her old number, but it hadn't connected properly or something... don't know if I am now more cross, or if I am less cross and less bothered. So fed up of going around in circles, making excuses for her, brushing things under the now very bumpy carpet, but then at the same time, she is my mum, and try as I might, I can't just wipe her out of our lives. I do think I am going to take a back seat now though and not be the one always making the effort to speak to her, I'll ring every couple of weeks to make sure she is OK, and that is it, no more no less.
Sorry, have ranted again
Yes to testing tomorrow Thursday!
