Hellloo.
Is anyone else starting TTC for next cycle in January?
I've got a DD who's 6 but I do feel a bit like i haven't done this in a while so just wanted to chat. 🙂

How are you tracking your ovulation?

This month was just a rough calculation tbh based on how long my cycle usually is.

I wasn’t sure if the ovulation tests would stress me out more

@Fluffydino21 they do get a bit addictive for me!

I'm exact same at 9dpo. Loads of cramping, feeling and actually being sick. Generally feel run down too. Really bloated. General tummy issues. Sore boob's. Tested negative this morning and again just now this evening.
Feel like I might have had a little off colour discharge for implanting. Maybe. But could also be AF.

Gonna test every morning untill AF shows or there's a line. There's potential this month is an irregular cycle for me though, so very possible I could feel like this for the next week and then AF show up about 7 days late. And if that's the case this one feels like a HUGE one 😪

Lol me too 🤦🏽‍♀️ I go back to day old tests even, and i know anything I see is evap. Yet I can't help but obsessively check and even see lines that aren't there 🤣🤣

Welcome! The ones youll see most often are ttc = trying to conceive AF - aunt Flo (means period) DPO = days post ovulation CD = cycle day cant think of any others right now
If you're young and very active sexually then i wouldnt worry too much about tracking as youre probably dtd (doing the deed) at least every other day. I track because we're old and have no time so we need to schedule sex haha

Hey everyone! Our first month closely tracking and timing intercourse as we have just been going with the flow the last few months but obviously hasn't happened yet. What do you think my chances are? My cycles are still really long after coming off the pill a few months ago. I know last night would have been ideal too but don't want it to become a chore yet

I tried a digital just now and it's negative. I am sure I see faint faint lines on the strips though so I'm not going to believe the digital and will buy more 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

I'm exactly the same 😅😅😅😅😅 and im still at the stage where im convincing myself there isnt anything there because i dont want to get my hopes up for a shadow. 😅😅😅

It maybe that there's not enough hcg for the digital yet keep fingers crossed the strips get darker

Hi all, hoping I can join you.

Currently only 6dpo and the 2ww is getting to me this month.
Now 11 months of trying, got pregnant in the first month and had a loss at just 5 and half weeks, and the tests didn't turn positive until 4 days after missed period so I didn't know for very long and I guess my hcg was always lower than it should be and it was never going to work out.

This is the first month I've been tracking ovulation using the premom app and I actually ovulated a bit later than Flo predicted I do usually (CD16 on a 28-day cycle). Interesting as hubby and I can't always do the deed that frequently and I think if I thought I had ovulated on CD14, I would probably of not bothered to keep trying by CD16.... so maybe that's where I've been going wrong for the last 11 months? But also had a horrible chest infection over Xmas which may play havoc with my cycle who knows.

Anyway, feel a bit more upbeat about it this month and at least if still no joy, then will go to GP to start some investigations so will at least feel like we're doing something

Hey @Simplespell27 welcome to the thread! That is interesting that you ovulate later, hoping this is your month. However as I am sure you know (sorry not teaching you to suck eggs!!) sperm live for up to 5 days so as long as you've DTD during the window it should be ok. I have started taking evening primrose oil this month to try and lengthen my luteal phase - who knows if it works...but if you find you have a shorter luteal phase it's just something to consider. Feeling really nervous/anxious and everything in between after my MMC so if anyone has tips TTC after a loss, would be greatly appreciated. Well I’m out I think.

8dpo, and my cramping is continuing (heavy like), I only have one heavy boob (feels exact same as PMS), rather than a swollen sensation and my resting heart rate has dropped.

previous pregnancy…. I had swollen boobs with blue veins/tingly nips… and my heart rate went up from 58 to 71bpm.

my tell tale sign was heart rate and boobs last time!

Sorry to hear that. You seem to really know your body and what to look out for!

im curious what you said about resting heart rate. Is that a sign? Mine has been going up and up the last few days to a record high for me but I thought I was just dehydrated or something.
