Hi everyone, is anyone else 1dpo?! Let's survive the TWW together if so 😀 DD is almost 2 and this is cycle #2 trying for baby #2!

@KT199 Totally get that! I say go for it then.. maybe do like a 3-4 hour hold if you can? What sort of tests do you have?

I’ve got some cheapies and the boots early detection ones, I wonder if I am better waiting for FMU tomorrow instead of using quite diluted this evening!

@KT199 I reckon if you're pregnant and you hold for a good few hours you'd probably see something this evening even if it's faint.. but I suppose if you don't want to potentially be squinting then may be worth waiting until the morning!!

Yeah I think the boots early detection are quite reliable too, they look exactly like the FRER! Ah god, I feel nervous thinking about doing one 🤣 is it worth the disappointment?! Maybe holding out another few days isn’t so bad 🤣🤣

@KT199 I guess the disappointment of AF arriving might be worse if you spend a few more days getting your hopes up? Whereas if you test now you'll kinda know what to expect.. obviously here's hoping it doesn't show!! I am fully invested haha those boots tests sound great!!

I’ve heard that the boots early response are on par with first response - I got some this morning from boots.

@KT199 I plan to test with one tomorrow AM, so if you do decide you won’t be the only one🤍

Haven’t dared brave a test yet, my stomach has become quite sore this afternoon and I’m getting pains but they don’t feel like my usual “AF” it’s like higher than usual if that makes any sense like below belly button but above uterus almost like gas pains.. but I don’t feel overly bloated so not sure what’s going on!

@KT199 I've been feeling a bit bloated and stomach-y too! Yeah AF cramps are often super low down aren't they. Sometimes (call me mental) I do a lil cervix check to see if anything is en route through ie brown/blood. Gives a little idea sometimes rather than doing a test. 🤓

I considered this actually, but I’ve not checked my cervix all that often so wouldn’t really have a clue what I’m doing 😂😂 I tried to check my first cycle around ovulation and gave up 🤣

I do get abit of bloating mid cycle sometimes and very mild close to AF but this feels so different I’m abit confused, but it’s typical isn’t it as soon as TTC body goes off on one 😂😂

How strange... well I sooo hope it's a positive sign for you I really do! ❤️ How are you feeling test wise? Maybe leaving it tonight and seeing how you feel tomorrow?

I’m scared to get my hopes up!! This is my 4th cycle ttc #1 so I’ve never been pregnant before! First time ever seeing 2 lines too, I’ve not had evaps or anything!

@KT199 I understand all of these feelings 🥹 Today, you are pregnant ❤️ (I used to repeat this to myself when I was anxious!!) I bet that line will look lovely with a FMU tomorrow 🥰

I might do one more test tomorrow for good measure and then try leave it at that, I don’t want to get obsessed and anxious over line progression, as I’m a very obsessive and anxious person 😂

@KT199 I think that's a great idea! ❤️ I did a really similar thing, couple of tests on the day I found out and then I did another one a couple of weeks after as I had some spotting so just wanted to check the clear blue weeks etc!! Then had an early scan a week later anyway 😊

I’m doing okay thank you. Haven’t tested as got up to pee twice through the night, will probably try a hold this afternoon again or tomorrow AM FMU. Surviving work on adrenaline alone today, I only got about 3 hours of broken sleep I was laid awake wondering if this was it.
