Hi everyone, is anyone else 1dpo?! Let's survive the TWW together if so 😀 DD is almost 2 and this is cycle #2 trying for baby #2!

@CatLady93 ahh I am so sorry about the BFN - did you do an early test? To reassure you, 10dpo is still so early, you might have only just implanted, so you’re still in it for this cycle! And you’ve had other symptoms too, so honestly I am still very positive for you!!
I totally know what you mean about trusting your body. I have a pretty bad relationship with mine too and never trust things will actually work. Easy to say, but try not to feel too down..your BFP could just be around the corner❤️

@GirlWithTheYellowHat sorry about the BFN :( how many dpo are you?

@Junip2 I did an easy@home and a clear blue early one.. never had much luck with the clear blue ones though tbh. Thank you for your reassurance ❤️ I'll give it a day or 2 and test if no AF I think. Have you done another test today? 🥰

@Junip2 - Those positives look great! I've been using the same strips and didn't even get an evap line 😅 they're known for not being the best in terms of darkness mind.
I think it'll be a case of staying safe and warm inside over the weekend. The weather looks a bit while and I can't think of much worse than being out in it. I'll be visiting tesco (again!) For some baking ingredients and imagine we will do a nice mixture of baking, movie nights, painting and Xmas crafts!

@CatLady93 - Sorry to hear of your BFN 😔 but, not only is 10dpo early, but you've also got to factor in the type of test. In years gone by, a FRER was the test you'd be looking for a BFP on first, but recently they were discontinued and then re-released. All my googling tells me the new ones actually aren't as sensitive. So while a 10dpo is possible, it's unlikely. And finally, while you've tracked your cycle etc so likely know when ovulation occurred, you know a rough time frame, around 24 hours, and if it had been at the end of that 24 hours you've got a few more days to wait. You've got this!!!

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 06/12/2024 16:37

At @Junip2 if my watch is to be believed, I think I'm maybe 12 days DPO. But everything's all over the place after the medical miscarriage. I may be less than this

Junip2 · 06/12/2024 18:00

@FlakyAquaQuoter sounds a lovely weekend, just what is needed I am sure! You’ve inspired me, I might also do some xmas crafts - it’s nice to get into the spirit of things isn’t it!

@CatLady93 totally agree with everything @FlakyAquaQuoter said! I think places like mumsnet will have you believe that so many people get early BFPs when in reality they don’t. I know with my first, I must have been around 14/15dpo before I even got a faint line. Have you got much planned for your weekend/ anything to take your mind off it?

@GirlWithTheYellowHat ah cool, so still more time and if AF hasn’t arrived then you’re still in with a chance!

@CatLady93 I did retest with a digital and to my surprise I got a BFP. Honestly shocked and feeling very very grateful. Don’t think I’ve processed it at all to be honest!

@FlakyAquaQuoter Thank you so much! ❤️ Really appreciate you taking the time to support after the time you've had recently, thank you. I will give it a few more days as you say and try again with a test 😊

Thank you @Junip2 ❤️ We have a lovely weekend planned actually going out to pick a tree and decorating it etc! But more importantly holy moly - CONGRATULATIONS!!! Absolutely amazing news!! So so pleased for you!

Ladies I've really enjoyed this little group, I feel like we're a lovely bunch!! If you wanted to stay in touch I'd be more than happy to setup a WhatsApp group maybe - but I understand of course wanting to keep things just to mumsnet/anonymous if that's what you'd rather. ❤️

Ahhhh @Junip2 how exciting!! Congratulations 🙌

Oo yeah I’d happily keep in touch @CatLady93!

Got myself very worried, I’m having a sharp pain which lasts for a second or two on and off and been going on for the last hour which is just left and a tiny bit lower than my belly button! No idea what it is, but obviously Dr Google has said Ectopic so now I’m freaked out

CatLady93 · 06/12/2024 18:48

@KT199 Does it go away if you change position? Any pain in your shoulder at all?

OP posts:
Junip2 · 06/12/2024 18:49

I’d also be happy to - what a lovely idea @CatLady93 . And what a lovely idea!

@KT199 our babies will be due the same time! I literally just had the same btw - a really sharp pain right where you described. And immediately I thought wtf. I think it’s normal though, I remember having all sorts of weird things like this with my first.

Junip2 · 06/12/2024 18:50

Sorry @CatLady93 didn’t finish writing my sentence to you - meant to say what a lovely idea for your weekend. Putting the tree up is always exciting!

No shoulder pain and no it seems to come and go regardless of what I’m doing, I was wondering around Tesco when it started and I’m back home now and still on-going

CatLady93 · 06/12/2024 18:53

@KT199 If you google round ligament pain does it seem to match that? I'd say just keep an eye if it's not too severe ❤️ I had so many little tightenings and pulling things during my first trimester!

OP posts:
KT199 · 06/12/2024 19:11

Ah really @Junip2, I’m trying not to worry it’s just so strange isn’t it! Ahhh that’s exciting to think about!

@CatLady93 ive had a little look and yes definitely a sharp pain however said it’s too early for that usually occurs in second trimester. It’s just freaking me out abit with it being in the exact same spot and just below the belly button. I guess time will tell and I am a worrier.

@CatLady93 - Of course! Honestly I have hugely appreciated the support from this group and I'm so desperate to see these BFP's! I'll live through you guys for a while!
Your weekend sounds glorious, I hope it isn't too affected by the weather.
I'd absolutely love to stay in touch, you've been such a lovely bunch and it'd be great for that to continue!

FlakyAquaQuoter · 06/12/2024 19:29

@Junip2 - How exciting, a positive digital!!!!

We are all about the Christmas crafts here. I'm getting fully into the festive spirit.

FlakyAquaQuoter · 06/12/2024 19:31

@KT199 - So sorry you're worrying lovely, honestly I totally understand. I worried every single when I got my BFP with my DD!
It sounds like very normal pains, the uterus is doing some fairly chaotic growing right now for this sudden intruder. Gotta get the place comfy and all that. But completely understand the fear. As others have said, keep an eye and any concerns you can always give your GP a ring?

Your probably right, it seems to have calmed down now I’ve had a tepid bath, which I know could come and go but I’ll keep an eye on it and do my best to stop worrying for now.

thanks for all the advice / help @CatLady93 @Junip2 @FlakyAquaQuoter

My weekend is going to involve having a big clear out, seriously I own enough clothes for 4 people!! Not so fun or exciting, but a necessary task I’ve been meaning to get round to for ages!

Junip2 · 06/12/2024 19:58

@KT199 honestly I am the same - I am a sat here with a hot water bottle as i am getting so many weird sensations. I think like @FlakyAquaQuoter said so much is happening and it’s crazy how quickly things develop. I am also a worrier through so anything that can go wrong I’ll be thinking about it 😂

@CatLady93 any more symptoms your end? Xx

@Junip2 Hot water bottle sounds lovely, not least because it's so bloomin' cold!!

So, when I tested this morning, if you squinted, did 5 cartwheels, had laser eye surgery and milked a cat you could see a tiny shadow on my test. So this evening I did another one (pure dopamine exercise) and there was a shadow but a little more visible than this mornings. Easy@home have given me all sorts of evaps and indents before so I'm not excited, but I will take one first thing in the morning (mainly as they're all I have apart from a digital) and see if there's anything more there.. symptom wise I'm a bit crampy and twingey!

OP posts:
CatLady93 · 06/12/2024 20:06

Btw when I say 'visible' I still mean hardly visible to the naked eye unless it's tilted and you're squinting a LOT 😂

@KT199 - Honestly it's a hugely worrying time. The TWW feels like hell but actually the first trimester (or three...!) Is also full of anxiety!

Ooh very nice too, I could probably do with a clear out. Though I've the same clothes that I've had for years and years, so if I did a sort out I'd have nothing left. Not that I wear more than about 5 outfits...! I work in scrubs so it's only ever home days that require it. And let's be fair, I'm a PJs girl at heart.

Now PJs I DO have enough for 4 people...

Junip2 · 06/12/2024 20:09

@CatLady93 ooooooo I am tentatively excited for you. Perhaps FMU might show a bit more tomorrow 👀

shall I DM you my number, if you do decide to make a WhatsApp group?
